Nvidia introduced NVLink Fusion, a new version of its interconnect technology that links chips to accelerate AI computing, according to Reuters. CEO Jensen Huang announced NVLink Fusion at the Taipei Music Center during the Computex AI exhibition. The tech will be sold to external chipmakers such as Marvell Technology and MediaTek, with additional adoption expected from Alchip, Fujitsu, and Qualcomm. NVLink enables high-speed data exchange between chips, including in the GB200, which integrates two Blackwell GPUs with a Grace processor. Huang also announced Nvidia's plan to establish a Taiwan headquarters in the northern suburbs of Taipei.
