00:00For what purpose does the gentlewoman from Oregon seek recognition?
00:04I ask unanimous consent to address the House for one minute and to revise and extend the
00:07response.
00:08Without objection, the gentlewoman is recognized for one minute.
00:14Mr. Speaker, Mr. Speaker, Mr. Speaker, this is Rose.
00:23She's seven years old in the first grade and she makes friends everywhere she goes.
00:29Rose was diagnosed with an ultra rare genetic syndrome when she was just three and a half
00:34and now uses a feeding tube and a wheelchair.
00:37Medicaid allows Rose to receive physical therapy and thanks to this therapy, she's starting
00:43to take steps.
00:45Mr. Speaker, Mr. Speaker, Mr. Speaker, my Republican colleagues are working overtime to take Rose's
00:52health care away.

00:57bit from here and there, but each of those numbers represents a person, a child like Rose,
01:04who will lose critical care so billionaires can have more money in their pockets.
01:09We cannot let them steal from our kids and our families.
01:13We will not.
01:14Mr. Speaker, Mr. Speaker, Mr. Speaker, I yield back.
