Peppa Pig becomes big sister as Mummy Pig announces she's given birth - and she reveals sweet name.

00:09It's a beautiful thing, like I said,

00:11Daddy Pig has just shared these pictures with me

00:15of Peppa's brand-new baby sister, Evie,

00:18named after Mummy Pig's Aunt Evie.

00:21She was born at 5.34 a.m. this morning,

00:24thankfully just in time to watch her first-ever Good Morning Britain.

00:28Now, she's certainly receiving the royal treatment so far,

00:31with a town crier announcing her birth,

00:33and a special plaque, how very royal,

00:36with all the birthing details unveiled.

00:39Beautiful picture here, too, as you can see, of the happy family.

00:43So, understandably, Mummy Pig is resting,

00:46but Daddy Pig has let me know he will be free to catch up next week

00:49for his first-ever TV interview and another glimpse of the new baby.
