Tap your Profile Picture at the top of your feed to view your active story.
3️⃣ Delete the Story:
Once you’re on the story, tap the Three Dots (More Options) at the bottom right.
Select Delete from the menu that appears.
Confirm your choice by tapping Delete again.
4️⃣ Delete from Story Archive (Optional):
If the story has expired but is saved in your archive, tap the Three Lines (Menu) in your profile.
Go to Archive and find the story you want to delete.
Open the story, tap More Options, and select Delete.

00:08So, to delete an Instagram story, first go to your Instagram stories, and then for example, I want to delete, say, this story.
00:16Then what you can do is simply click on this more button present at the bottom, and here you can see this option which says delete.
00:22Simply click on the delete button, and here you can see this message which says,
00:26you can restore unarchived stories for 24 hours or 30 days for archived stories from recently deleted in your activity.
00:34After that, it will be permanently deleted.
00:36So, in order to proceed, simply click on this delete button again.
