New Delhi, May 19, 2025 (ANI): Speaking on the Indus Water Treaty, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan backed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for suspending the treaty after Pahalgam attack. He said, “I thank the Prime Minister for suspending the Indus Water Treaty and ending a historical injustice. This treaty was signed in 1960 by Jawaharlal Nehru. More than 80% of the Indus water was allocated to Pakistan. We gave them both money and water…what did Pakistan give us in return?”
