1️⃣ Switch to a Private Account:
Go to Settings / Privacy / Account Privacy and toggle on Private Account to limit your audience to approved followers only. 2️⃣ Use Close Friends for Stories:
When posting a story, select the Close Friends option to share content with a specific group of people. No one outside this list will see the post, and they won’t be notified they’re on your list. 3️⃣ Post to Archived or Saved Collections:
Save your post directly to your Archive or Saved Collections without publishing it to your feed or sending notifications. 4️⃣ Share via Direct Messages:
Send your content privately to specific people through Instagram's Direct Message feature. This ensures only the intended recipients can view it. 5️⃣ Restrict Notifications for Tagged Posts:

00:00Welcome to this tutorial. In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how you can post quietly or without notifying others in your Instagram.
00:09So, there are a number of ways to achieve this. The first option is to simply enable the private mode of your Instagram account.
00:17To enable a private account, simply click here. And then here you can see this option which says account privacy.
00:22Simply click here and enable this private account toggle. So, only those person will be notified which are currently following you.
00:30And if you want to hide the post from those you are also following or those who are following you, then what you can do is, for example, I will try to upload a new post.
00:41So, let's do this. First, I'll go to the post option. Then I will choose any particular photo. So, for example, let's say this photo right here.
00:48Then once I have selected the photo, I'll click on the next button and I will make a post of it. Then click the next button again.
00:57And now here you can see this option which says audience. So, currently the audience is followers.
01:01What you can do is that you can choose this close friends option as well.
01:06Then you can see that this notification appears that likes and comments will be visible.
01:11So, click on this OK button and then you can click on this add people button and you can choose any particular account.
01:17So, for example, this is an account which is more likely a famous person and he will not see my particular post right here.
01:24So, I can choose them for this post as they will not be the only one to receive the notification but that won't be happening.
01:32So, the other person which are following me won't receive the notification.
01:36Then once you have done this, simply click on this done button and then you can proceed like before.
01:41Simply click on the done button again and click on the share button.
01:43Then just wait for the post to be finished up and here you can see that the post has been successfully uploaded in our Instagram profile.
01:54And here you can see that it is a close friends only.
01:57So, only those friends to whom you have selected in the list will only be able to see this.
