01:16address that when it gets ready.

01:52sure the judges who had some concern to be also protected in the United States.
01:58the residents.
01:59We are now all of the three that were taken from the country that were taken in the world.
02:08But regardless of who or which agency actually makes the capture, whether it's the U.S. Marshals,
02:15the FBI, NOPD, SHERF, it does not matter.
02:19We will deem all escapees as Louisiana State prisoners.
02:28They will be LSP's prisoners.
02:31They will not be booked into the Orleans Parish and other arrangements that have been made for those bookings.
02:38And with that, I'm going to turn it over to our colonel of the LSP and he can give you a little bit more information on that.
02:45So colonel.
02:46Thank you, Chief.

03:52To talk about, you have to call TIPAA, as well as the FBI.

05:45Thank you very much.
05:49First, I want to thank y'all for that.
05:52We sent in tips all along.
05:54You're welcome.
05:55I'm so successful now.
05:58I'm interested again.
06:00I encourage you, see the team behind us.
06:03All information is being kept.
06:06That will stay.
06:09That's an incredible network.
06:11And you should feel so strong in knowing that public safety is key in taking your own bank
06:17and your part of the team.
06:19So if you're a five-star, it's going to be anonymous.
06:21That's a good number, 822-111.
06:23We have a $2,000 cash for each of the stages of the rest.
06:28If the ally has it, find us.
06:30Make your calls, send the tip.
06:32Don't do it.
06:34All right, we'll have one round of questions.
06:36Let's start with Foxy.
06:37Do we have any more information about the three OPSO employees that were suspended?
06:46Good evening, everyone.
06:47Again, the point of this press conference tonight is to focus on apprehending the seven remaining fugitives.
06:54We're not going to discuss anything that happened prior to an escape of those offenders or inmates.
07:03That needs to remain everyone's focus.
07:05So the tips when you call in, please, we need the public's help.
07:09It's your city.
07:10It's your state.
07:11We want to see your family, your friends, those who came in towns, high school, college graduations this weekend, across the state.
07:19We need your help.
07:20So I just respect all the other stations and media that's here.
07:25These questions were leading to our investigative efforts and efforts to apprehend the seven men.
07:33I think that's Katie.
07:34Yes, Katie Rice with CBS News.
07:37A question for you, two questions.
07:40First, just in the way you were able to describe about how one of the first inmates that you apprehended was found hiding in a parking garage.
07:49Can you explain the details a little more clearly about how these other two were apprehended?
07:54And also then moving forward, do you know, do you have evidence that shows any of these folks have left the state at this point?
08:03So we have strong investigative means of the remaining seven, confident that they will eventually be apprehended.
08:11With regard to the three that are in custody now, they were in various parts throughout the city.
08:18Specifically, their apprehension, although we were able to take them all without any troops to seek medical attention,
08:25we still had people do sure that everyone was okay in the south.
08:30But we don't want to really give up the exact how or where we located them specifically.
08:35Just know that all investigative tools and technology that the law enforcement has were utilized in the apprehension,
08:42but none more important than the public's help in giving us that information from the crime stoppers really
08:48as a close fault of the wire in our investigation for this.
08:52Jonah.
08:52Hey, can you talk to me a little bit?
08:54We know about a police president who could absolutely give you anything about their crimes as well as a suspect.
08:59And also, talk to you about how every second is going to prevent this.
09:03That's a very good first part.
09:05Look, there's police officers, sheriffs, deputies, troopers, FBI agents, U.S. Marshmores, ATM agents, HSI agents,
09:13all over the metropolitan area and throughout the state right now.
09:16Yes, every second is critical.
09:18As we get leads and tips, we investigate them from the Office of Safety perspective.
09:23The Office will make sure we have a lot, a large group, to ensure the safety of the public who's there in that area
09:30as well as those who are working the investigation and the safe and secure apprehension of those for the future.
09:38Each second does happen.
09:40Certainly, the sooner we can apprehend them, the sooner everyone can be rest assured that they are no longer underrepresented.
09:47It is for violent offenders who escape, and we have to bring them back.
09:53And they will go to a state prison.
09:55So, there was a shooting at the Portland Falls East on the Vila recently.
10:03I believe it might have been an alternative.
10:06Does that have any connection with this situation currently?
10:11And there's a separate incident.
10:13Right.
10:14So, it wasn't a bad touch up.
10:17There was all the federal partners who were out there actually.
10:20a survey list of a target home, and completely independent, they were kind of hurt from home.
10:30And when they went to that university, they had nothing to do with this material.
10:36That matter has been helped them.
10:40No one has been injured.
10:42No one has been injured.
10:44No one was involved.
10:46No one has been injured.
10:48Last question.
10:50There's still seven people on the front here.
10:56We talked to some people in schools that are scared to walk outside.
11:00Part of the country that I believe is or are they in any danger to walking around the streets?
11:08What I can say is that we'll speak to the fact that the people who are students like me are dangerous.
11:15They're not dangerous people.
11:17Is the general public right now, should they panic?
11:21The answer is no.
11:23Now, our number one mission, despite anything else right now, is to get these people in the
11:31hospital.
11:32So I think you can still fully enjoy graduation ceremonies tomorrow, having dinner out, the
11:40things that you would normally do.
11:42However, we just ask that you are mindful and you're attentive.
11:47You call us.
11:49If you think that something is out of order, you call us.
11:53Sometimes people think, well, I don't want to call 911.
11:55What if I am wrong?
11:57But what if you're right?
11:59And so call us.
12:01Don't panic.
12:02Just simply continue living and enjoying life, but just be cautious.
12:08That's what we have.
12:10We're going to keep you updated until every single one of them are accounted for and back
12:16in custody.
12:17So we think that based on the leads we've been getting, these are active and real leads.
12:22So keep talking to us.
12:23We need you.
12:24All right.
12:25Thank you all for coming out.
12:26We appreciate it.
12:27Should we have any further information?
12:28We'll see you next time.
