00:00I think folks that truly love the game of basketball need to be mindful.
00:04You need to respect the humanity of these women, whether you are Team Clark or Team Reese,
00:08although you can certainly be both, right?
00:10The aftermath, the fact that the WNBA has to put out a statement because of racist comments
00:15and unsafe conditions toward Angel Reese, like, I just want people to be mindful that
00:20whether you like it or not, anytime something happens with the two of them, one is automatically
00:24put as a victim and one is automatically put as someone who needs to be saved, when in
00:28reality, both are excellent competitors.
00:30They both said this was a basketball play.
00:32Now, Greeny, let's be honest.
00:33If this was the other way around, oh, Lord, you can only imagine how the conversation would
00:37have gone.
00:37Yeah, I absolutely agree.
00:39And when you think about this circumstance and this day and age that we're in, a lot of
00:42people project their own subjective feelings on these ladies as, you know, people that
00:46have gotten to know them.
00:47They just want to compete at the highest levels.
00:49Once the play was over, they were on to the next.
00:51But I'll lastly say this, when it comes to racism and the hateful rhetoric and the statement
00:55that the WNBA is saying, I think it's important because at the end of the day, if you are truly
00:59a basketball fan, you would understand and agree.
01:02We have no space in our game for those types of comments and also not, you know, putting
01:07more gasoline on the fire in a circumstance where we're here to appreciate the beautiful
01:11basketball.
01:12That's all Caitlin and Angel want you to do.
01:14Why not just continue on that?
01:16Well, that was the moment over the weekend.
01:18Again, somewhat overshadowing, I think, unfortunately, Clinton having this enormous first game.
01:23Well, watch where it goes from here.
