SGA and Chet Holgren heaped praise on Alex Caruso's historic game 7 performance against Nikola Jokic.
Transcript
00:00Obviously extremely impressive.
00:02He's somebody who's kind of been through the ringer,
00:04and he's seen every type of player that there is out there,
00:08and he knows what type of player Jokic is,
00:13and he did a great job of kind of playing to his advantages.
00:17He was scrappy.
00:18He was using his speed and his pace to kind of keep Jokic
00:25kind of from feeling comfortable and knowing where he was and stuff,
00:28so credit to him.
00:29He's a game-changer.
00:31Without him, the game looks completely different.
00:35He's a player that understands the moment
00:38and controls what he can control,
00:40and he does that at a very high level.
00:43Nobody does that at a higher level than him
00:45than I've ever played with.
00:47He is always in the moment.
00:49He's always figuring out how to change the game
00:52and better the team,
00:54and it doesn't matter if it's a Tuesday in February
00:57and New Orleans or if it's a game seven tonight.
00:59He's given his 100% attention, energy,
01:03and I think that's what's made him the NBA player he's become.
01:09To have a guy like that on your team, it's special.
01:12It raises the level of everybody else when you see him
01:14just leading like that in that example.
01:18He's obviously a big reason why we're as good as we are
01:20as a basketball team.
01:21All right.
