00:21From May 17 to May 19, the city recorded intense pre-monsoon showers described by local weather
00:31watchers as cloudbursts, reaching 15 to 20 centimetres in some areas.
00:36On May 19, Karnataka Home Minister, Ji Parmeshwara, acknowledged the disruption.
00:41He added that the BBMP is actively clearing waterlogged roads and fallen trees.
00:51Several underpasses across the city are flooded, making commuting not just difficult but dangerous.
