The High Court on Monday (May 19) granted leave to Datin Seri Pamela Ling Yueh to commence judicial review proceedings to challenge the arrest warrant and travel restrictions imposed on her last year.

Justice Datuk Amarjeet Singh ruled that there were triable issues that merit further consideration in the case and fixed June 3 for case management.

00:07arrest and travel ban by the MACC and the Immigration Department.
00:11Justice Amarjeet Singh allowed Ling's application for leave to initiate judicial review after
00:17hearing submissions from parties in his chambers in Kuala Lumpur on Monday.
00:21The judge found that there were triable issues in the application.
00:25Senior Federal Counsel Mohammed Faisal Madnoor did not object to the application.
00:30The case management was fixed on June 3.
00:34Forty-two-year-old Ling filed the leave application for judicial review on April 7, just two days
00:41before her disappearance.
00:43The police are currently investigating it as a missing persons case and have so far recorded
00:49the statements of 42 people, including her children and a family friend.
00:54So far, no ransom demand has been made in connection with her disappearance.
00:59Her husband was arrested on May 15 but was released after the police failed to obtain a remand order.
