Stars walk the blue carpet at 'Lilo & Stitch' world premiere in Hollywood
Cast and crew of “Lilo & Stitch” walk the blue carpet at its world premiere in Hollywood. The film is a live action remake of the 2002 original animated classic. “The movie is really loved, right?” notes actor Zach Galifianakis. “With a precious thing like that (…) you have to pay respect to the original, and thank goodness they did.”

00:24All these, I think, classic children's films, whether it's just stories or animation or everything, always have some darkness.
00:36Introduce children to things that are not great, but how we learn to overcome them, and how we learn to come together, and how love always conquers everything.
00:48You know, it's just a voice I always used around the studio to annoy people, so I would call people up on the phone at Disney and go,
00:56Oh, are you hungry? Do you want to get lunch? What are you doing? I want to get lunch.
01:02It was a pleasure to be in an environment where not only was the cast and crew lovely, but we were in Hawaii.
01:12So, there was, we had to deal with weather and shooting outside, rain when it was supposed to be sunny and sunny.
01:19You know when it's supposed to be raining, but that comes with the territory.
01:22So, you know, it was, and actually when there was a delay, I got to hang out an extra day or two or three in Hawaii, so I was not mad at all.
01:33Yeah, I think it starts with sort of the comedy and being a troublemaker, and sort of how fun that is, that everyone wants to be a little bit of a troublemaker in their lives.
01:41But I think it really comes down to sort of the honesty of these characters, and that we're all a little messy, we're all a little chaotic.
01:48And this is a movie that celebrates that, and this notion of little, but broken, but still good.
01:53And I think we all want to believe that about ourselves. None of us are perfect, and this sort of celebrates being different.
01:59So, I think that's always been in the DNA and something we really tried to honor in this movie.
