00:04:50She wants me to look the best
00:04:52that I can when I'm out there performing,
00:04:54even though she doesn't know a lot about the WWE.

00:07:30was a life-changing experience.

00:07:34I just, it was almost
00:07:36like a fire just was reignited.
00:07:40She really just helped me
00:07:44mature.
00:07:46I think that was the biggest part,
00:07:48was maturing and growing up
00:07:50and realizing there's two other people
00:07:52now relying on me
00:07:54to make a way for us.
00:07:56I think that was
00:07:58very motivating,
00:08:00very helpful for me.

00:09:52ever wrestled in front of, which will be crazy.
00:09:54I'll be able to wrestle in front
00:09:56of my family for the first time ever.
00:09:58This whole kind of journey
00:10:00started with me because I thought it was
00:10:02something that my dad would think was really cool.
00:10:04So now thinking that he's
00:10:06going to be able
00:10:08to look down on me or whatever you want to say,
00:10:10wrestle in Madison Square Garden
00:10:12is really, really cool to think about.
00:10:18The day has arrived

00:11:48fire I get inside of me to
00:11:50prove them wrong. All you need is
00:11:52yourself to believe in what you're
00:11:54capable of and what you can do. And
00:11:56even if it's the other people around me or the
00:11:58Legends that don't see it yet, I'm
00:12:00100% confident that by the end
00:12:02I will make them believe
00:12:04just as much as I believe in myself.

00:12:08everyone that I'm in competition with is
00:12:10slowly starting to realize, oh s***.

00:16:52like maybe you've never been before
00:16:54as far as the pain and how
00:16:56desperate that situation is.

00:17:02It's either I go out there and give it my best that I have

00:17:08stay in the back, ice it,
00:17:10and just give it up, which I don't give up.

00:29:30many times, the bell rings
00:29:32and she turns into a different beast,
00:29:34a different animal, a different, well, she conducts
00:29:36herself in a different way. And you also talk
00:29:38about back to when we were thinking about monikers
00:29:40for all these athletes, she called herself the oxymoron.
00:29:42I mean, she has embraced
00:29:44all of this, but truly, how has
00:29:46Sterling grown since stepping foot
00:29:48in the ring for the first time? Well, she has certainly
00:29:50taken advantage of that knowledge that Bubba has
00:29:52been there for her with. Uh-oh.

00:52:13With the dust settled from tonight's matches,
00:52:15it was time for the legends to meet
00:52:17with Shawn Michaels and discuss
00:52:19who they feel deserves that coveted
00:52:21NXT contract.
00:52:23Look, that was a hell of a show tonight.
00:52:25The theater at Madison Square Garden.
00:52:27Big spotlight. Clearly I've got a
00:52:29tough decision to make, and there's
00:52:31absolutely no way that I'm going to
00:52:33make it without hearing from all
00:52:35of you first. I'm going to start
00:52:37with Zina Sterling.
00:52:39Why
00:52:41does she deserve a spot
00:52:43on the NXT roster?
00:52:45You don't
00:52:47have to be honest. Zina surprised us
00:52:49all, but if there's one thing I can say about
00:52:51her, she might be the hardest working woman in the room.
00:52:53She worked her tail off
00:52:55and surprised me at
00:52:57every turn. Her biggest thing
00:52:59going for her is her
00:53:01different personality.
00:53:03Zina went from
00:53:05zero to hero.
00:53:07She will be somebody
00:53:09in this company.
00:53:11Zina definitely has shined in this
00:53:13competition, but I
00:53:15think tonight she did something
00:53:17a little bit more extraordinary.
00:53:19We always talk about working hurt in this business,
00:53:21but working injured is something
00:53:23totally different. For her to
00:53:25go out there and get that match done,
00:53:27knowing what kind of pain she had to be
00:53:29going through, just that alone
00:53:31told me everything that I need to know about Zina.
00:53:33All right.
00:53:35Her opponent,
00:53:37Tyra May.
00:53:39She definitely has star power and star
00:53:41quality, and it's really hard to look
00:53:43away from the fact that she's an Olympic gold
00:53:45medalist. The legitimacy
00:53:47that that would add to the women's
00:53:49division as a whole, it's
00:53:51pretty amazing. With Tyra,
00:53:53you have a built-in character
00:53:55ready to go. I kind of put her in
00:53:57a heel position through the competition.
00:53:59Subconsciously, I think she kind of liked it.
00:54:01I think
00:54:03the personality needs to be harnessed,
00:54:05but at the end of the day, not to sound like a broken
00:54:07record, she's an Olympic gold
00:54:09medalist. The minute
00:54:11Kurt Angle stepped into
00:54:13our world, it brought a
00:54:15complete different credibility
00:54:17to our industry, and now we have
00:54:19the opportunity to have the first ever
00:54:21female Olympic gold medalist
00:54:23in wrestling. She is an
00:54:25Olympic gold medalist,
00:54:27but as far as her advancement
00:54:29goes, from day
00:54:31one to now,
00:54:33I haven't seen that much growth in her.
00:54:35I really haven't. I really
00:54:37feel like Tyra May still has all the
00:54:39tools to actually figure this
00:54:41out, but
00:54:43that's the optimal word, figuring
00:54:45it out. We're gonna
00:54:47switch over to our gentleman,
00:54:49Shiloh Hill. I will
00:54:51say I fell in love with Shiloh
00:54:53from day one. His range
00:54:55is really great
00:54:57in the sense that you can put him in different positions.
00:54:59I'm here to show real
00:55:01f***ing violence! What you get
00:55:03with Shiloh are layers. Shiloh
00:55:05makes you think outside of the box. He
00:55:07is a very unique individual, and unique
00:55:09individuals connect
00:55:11with our audience.
00:55:13He is that raw piece of
00:55:15clay that we want to mold
00:55:17into something. When you talk to him, you
00:55:19see that legit
00:55:21genius in him, and then he starts
00:55:23to hit the ropes, and he hits that smile
00:55:25with the missing toot, and you go,
00:55:27this guy's back f***ing crazy.
00:55:29We ain't talking about no smiles.
00:55:31We talking about somebody that we can
00:55:33plug in right now, and if that
00:55:35guy's ready, he did
00:55:37a great job. But did Shiloh
00:55:39do a lot of things that we talk about
00:55:41all the time? And that's guys
00:55:43going out rushing,
00:55:45distance spacing.
00:55:47And did he do that tonight? That's the question.
00:55:49I think the pre-politicking

00:55:53the final
00:55:55future great that we need to discuss.

00:56:35and impressive champion, with not
00:56:37a lot of guys that match up to him physically.

00:56:43legitimate threat to your champion.
00:56:45He's also one
00:56:47negative incident away
00:56:49from crumbling.
00:56:51Jasper still needs to mature.
00:56:53He's a bit of
00:56:55a loose cannon who wears
00:56:57the boo-boo face real
00:56:59hard. He needs to
00:57:01be a little bit more open-minded to some of
00:57:03the negative that comes along with this
00:57:05business. Has Jasper Troy not done
00:57:07business since day one in this competition
00:57:09with anybody? Everybody knows he's worked. He's gone out
00:57:11and worked with them. He's not worked against them.

01:02:05it comes to being put in there
01:02:07and ready to go
