00:00Hello. After plenty of fine and settled weather over the weekend, there are a chance of some
00:05welcome showers as we head through the new week. And we've got a few showers around already this
00:10evening across southern parts of Scotland. They'll sink their way southwards, affecting parts of
00:16Wales as we go through the early hours. Clearer skies towards the far southwest, and here we could
00:22see some mist and fog patches across Devon and Cornwall. Otherwise, we see the return of this
00:28low cloud from the North Sea, and it's going to be thick enough in places for a few spots of rain
00:34and drizzle as we start Monday morning. Otherwise, for temperatures, it will turn chilly in the west
00:40underneath the clearest skies, but otherwise lows generally around 6 to 10 degrees. So a bit of a
00:46messy picture out there as we start Monday morning. Any mist or fog across Devon and Cornwall will soon
00:51lift and clear. There'll be some showers across Wales. They'll ease for a time, but cloudier skies
00:58across northern parts of England into southern Scotland and Northern Ireland as we go later in
01:03the day. The cloud will gradually lift and break, but that will allow some showers to develop as well.
01:09So we could see some isolated showers just breaking out, and they could be on the heavy side, perhaps
01:15even with the odd rumble of thunder. Elsewhere, generally holding on to plenty of sunny spells, especially now
01:22across the southeast. And that's where we'll see our highest temperatures on Monday, 21, possibly up to 22
01:30degrees. But out towards the west, across Northern Ireland, parts of Wales and Northern England,
01:35actually temperatures are touched down on what we saw over the weekend. Now, as we go through Monday
01:42evening, we'll see a continuation of these showers, again still on the heavy side, and there may be a few
01:47that still linger. Otherwise, we'll see the return of this low cloud with that north-easterly wind
01:53out towards the far west. That's where we hold on to the clearest skies as we start Tuesday morning.
02:00But otherwise, similar temperatures to previous nights, but still chilly underneath the lengthiest
02:06clear skies. So as we start Tuesday morning, plenty of bright skies out towards the west. This low cloud
02:12will once again lift, break, and retreat back to eastern coasts. But once the sun gets going,
02:18we'll also see some showers bubbling up across Northern Ireland, parts of Wales, northwest England,
02:24perhaps even towards the far southwest. And these could again be heavy, perhaps with the odd rumble of
02:30thunder. Best of the sunshine now across parts of Scotland, and still towards the far south and east.
02:37Highs though, up to 21, possibly 22. So feeling warm in that sunshine still, but always a little bit
02:43cooler down that eastern coast where you have that onshore flow. So as we look further afield then,
02:51actually we've got further heavy showers developing on Wednesday, mainly towards the south at the moment.
02:56Dry up a little bit cooler on Thursday, and then it looks a bit more changeable as we go into next
03:03weekend. But for more details on all of that, be sure to hit subscribe so you don't miss any updates,
03:10and I'll see you soon. Bye bye.
