James Comey's the former director of the FBI, and he shouldn't have posted a message calling for the murder of President Donald Trump ... so says a congressman from Florida.

00:0086 was, I think it was a restaurant term initially, which is throw somebody out of
00:06the restaurant. And you could argue that 86 means throw him out of office, impeach him,
00:12do something. But how do you view it? Well, look, I think he should know better.
00:17Look, the guy tried to take Trump out to lawfare when he was FBI director. They've tried to take
00:23him out. This is someone that's almost been assassinated twice. And so I think you have
00:27to be careful in the language that you use. And he's the duly elected president of the United
00:32States, whether they like it or not, and saying, like, take him out. I mean, that's not language
00:38that people should be using in any event. But certainly in this case, I think he knew exactly
00:43what he meant. And it's just another call after two assassination attempts last year to try to
00:49take out President Trump. I hope he's held accountable. 86 remove is the word that first
00:55comes to mind. Restaurant specials. Whatever it is you want. I mean, they do. They use that for
00:59restaurants. Yes, I know they use it for restaurant specials. We have colloquially written it in our
01:03post where we say 86 something. All the time. I saw a post, Matt Gaetz, a very close friend of
01:10the president's, used it in an old tweet where he said, we've 86ed McCarthy, McDaniel, McConnell.
01:16So was he talking about assassinating them? Well, obviously not, because they weren't.
01:21They weren't. But I will say this. They aren't the former director of the FBI,
01:28someone who should be very cautious and cognizant of his language.
01:31I'm thinking back to January 6th. And there are a lot of people who feel
01:35that Trump was treated unfairly, that he wasn't really calling for an insurrection,
01:42even though he said, go down to the Capitol and make your point. And people were screaming,
01:48hang Mike Pence, and he didn't stop them. But a lot of people are saying, look, that was just
01:54his political view. That could be interpreted easily as kill somebody.
01:59The Democrats impeached him because they thought that's what he meant. And by the way,
02:05they impeached him for doing that without giving the full comments that he made at the time,
02:10where he said, go to the Capitol and be peaceful, which many of those people chose not to be.
02:16So clearly, language that can be interpreted in certain ways, when you're on the left,
02:21you're allowed to go crazy. When you're on the left, you're allowed to criminalize.
02:24You oppose that, yet you support a prosecution here.
02:29Well, I opposed impeachment because that's not what the president actually said.
02:33I support an investigation. I think what this guy did is dangerous. And I think the world has
02:38changed when crazy people see these things and then they go and take action.
02:45So our speech needs to be calibrated to the craziest person on earth.
02:50That's not true. I think the former director of the FBI's speech should be calibrated.
