00:00So the application behaves in a certain way, and if you want to go ahead and change the way how the application works, then you can actually change its preferences.
00:15So to do that, if you were to go to Edit, then onto Preferences, then here you can see that this is the application preferences right here.
00:23For example, right now I have the audio output selected as the speaker. If you have multiple speakers, then you have an option to actually go ahead and select multiple speakers as you want as well.
00:34You can also go ahead and choose microphone as you want right here so that it takes input only from certain microphone or choose no input as well, just like this.
00:44Apart from that, you can see that media import is in this particular folder right here.
00:50If you want to go ahead and change that out, then you can simply change around the main folder from over here as well.
00:57So over here, you can see that there's video rendering as well.
01:00For smoother playback, it says pre-rendering sequences for playback.
01:04It actually processes the video first before you actually play it, which is actually handy.
01:09But if you want to turn it off and then directly play the video, then you can simply turn it off as well.
01:14But it's a good idea to actually have this turn on.
01:18So right now, hardware acceleration for encoding and decoding is actually turned on.
01:23But if you just want it to be software only, you can disable this out as well.
01:27Apart from that, you can also manage your cache and then delete out all of the preview files as well, just like this.
01:35And once you go ahead and do that, you can actually go ahead and then free up your disk space as well.
01:41And these are the options that you have, the application preferences inside of Premiere Rust.
01:46It's not much, but some basic things to actually let the application behave in a certain way as you want.
