00:00When I was a young engineer at IBM, I was fortunate enough that my vice president at the time was John Kelly.
00:06John actually gave me the best piece of career advice that I've ever received.
00:10He told me to run towards the hardest problems, not walk, run.
00:16And that's where you find the biggest opportunities, where you learn the most, where you set yourself apart, and most importantly, where you grow.
00:24It's actually exactly what drew me to AMD.
00:26When I joined, it was clear the company had a mixed track record.
00:30But I saw the potential, the people, the vision, and the opportunity to help lead a company that mattered.
00:36And I knew I wanted to be part of that.
00:38It was actually my dream job.
00:39And looking back, some of the hardest moments we faced turned out to be the most rewarding.
00:44Hard problems stretch you.
00:45They demand focus, creativity, and determination.
00:48But they actually give you something that's even more valuable.
00:51They give you confidence.
00:53They give you growth.
00:54And they give you impact.
