00:00What did you think of the game on Monday?
00:04We felt that this was a good way of preparing ourselves for the game on Monday,
00:08because the boys deserved a few days off.
00:11It's been a very long season for us and we feel, we think,
00:14three days lead up towards the game on Monday is more than enough time
00:18to be physically well prepared.
00:20If we are mentally well prepared for a very difficult game
00:24against a team that can play really well,
00:26that is something that has nothing to do with us being somewhere else or over here,
00:31but that does have maybe something to do with that for us,
00:34apart from winning a game of football, there's nothing else at stake.
00:38The FA Cup now is not the first choice, so anything is enough.
00:43Of course we want it, once we are here we want to leave the trophy,
00:48of course it's really massively important,
00:50it was a disappointment last season for our performance,
00:53but I'm pretty sure we are good, we do perform well
00:56and we are going to compete against them.
00:59Of course it's important, definitely it is,
01:01but to win the trophy you have to be there,
01:03and you have to be there, you have to win previous games,
01:06and we have done it for many, many years in the last years.
01:09It's a fantastic team, it's made a good season,
01:12I will be the second part of the season,
01:14so long term, already more than a month and a year with Oliver,
01:19working with the same players, so it's a final FA Cup,
01:23it's an honour, a privilege, three times in a row being there,
01:28and of course we have to perform well,
01:30and we travelled to London to win the title.
01:34I think at the beginning of the season we were, as you said,
01:39if someone said to us that we need to win the last two games
01:43to reach the Champions League spot,
01:46probably we were happy.
01:48I think overall during the season we had moments,
01:52for instance the first five, six months,
01:55where we were second, third, so even better,
01:58and now we are there and we are going to try to finish well.
02:01The best way is to face the game like we should face the game,
02:06is to win the game.
02:08We need to perform, we need to win points in Premier League,
02:12and that is the feeling, we talked about that after West Ham,
02:16so we need to improve in the way we face competition,
02:20stay focused in every moment of the game,
02:23because against West Ham we had clear situations to score,
02:27in the first opportunity of West Ham they scored one goal,
02:30so these small details matter.
02:31Very difficult team for any opposition, I think.
02:34I think what Eddie, the staff, and as a club,
02:37what they've done the last few years is remarkable,
02:39and they've been very, very consistent,
02:41very difficult to play against, like we've been.
02:45They dominate almost every aspect of the game, you know.
02:48They are great when they have to attack a low block,
02:51and they have a lot of presence in the box,
02:53they need to go on set-pieces, they need to go on transition,
02:55they need to defend a low block, the game has to get physical,
02:58they are ready to, the way they compete, they are smart,
03:02they try to take advantage of a lot of things,
03:05like any good team, you have to dominate a lot of things,
03:08even though you are not on the top of the table.
03:10First and foremost is that I'm getting prepared for a game,
03:12that's what, it would be really important for us to try
03:15and get another three points, and keep trying to be as high
03:18up the league table as we possibly can.
03:20I think when we came in, you know, the position we were in wasn't good,
03:26and I think we've got ourselves a lot stronger position now,
03:29and I want us to remain there, I want us to try and finish as high
03:32as we possibly can.
03:33It's great history, there's some great stories,
03:35and obviously there's been great managers and players
03:38who've all performed here.
03:40So I'm just the one who's going to shut the door on the way out.
03:44so I'm so happy to see you.
03:50I'm we're going to see you next time.
