00:00:00Oh, say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
00:00:07What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
00:00:14Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
00:00:21O'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
00:00:29And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
00:00:37Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
00:00:45Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
00:00:52O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

00:29:26Yes, sir.
00:29:57That's correct.
00:29:59Yeah.
00:30:01Sir.
00:30:03Well, we're supposed to be here, so...
00:30:14Yeah.
00:30:16Yeah.
00:30:18Sir.
00:30:20Well, we're supposed to be here.
00:30:21So.
00:42:20I hope you're enjoying it.
00:42:21It's an amazing culture.
00:42:24I appreciate it.
00:42:25Your visit as well as the goodwill you have expressed regarding relations with the UAE
00:42:44since taking office.
00:42:52Mr. President, for over 50 years,
00:43:01the UAE and the United States have shared
00:43:03a multidimensional strategic partnership
00:43:07and a longstanding friendship
00:43:11grounded in a shared commitment
00:43:13to advancing prosperity and stability
00:43:17in our countries, the region, and the world.
00:43:23Over the decades, the UAE has been
00:43:26a trusted partner of the United States,
00:43:30both in terms of bilateral relations
00:43:33and in matters of shared concern.
00:43:39We are keen to continue deepening this friendship
00:43:44for the benefit of both our nations and peoples.
00:43:50Your presence here today, Mr. President,
00:43:54affirms that this commitment is mutual.
00:43:59Diplomatic relations between our two nations
00:44:03was established in 1971,
00:44:07but the connection between our peoples goes back further.
00:44:12Two doctors who came as missionaries
00:44:17from the church in California
00:44:25have their names etched in the collective memory
00:44:29of the UAE.
00:44:31They are Pat and Marian Kennedy.
00:44:37They arrived in L.A.
00:44:39in late 50s,
00:44:44working under challenging conditions
00:44:52at a time when up to one in two infants
00:45:03and one in four mothers died during childbirth.
00:45:09They founded Oasis Hospital,
00:45:20which played a pivotal role
00:45:22in the development of healthcare in the UAE.
00:45:27A few months after their arrival, Mr. President,
00:45:32I was born in the same hospital
00:45:35that these two American doctors helped build.
00:45:39In recognition of their contributions,
00:45:50they were awarded the Abu Dhabi Award
00:45:52in its first edition in 2005.
00:45:58And in 2019, the hospital was renamed
00:46:03Kenneth Hospital in their honor.
00:46:09And their family was hosted in Abu Dhabi
00:46:14in gratitude for their service to the people of the UAE.
00:46:25Mr. President, the UAE and the United States
00:46:30share a strong development-focused partnership.
00:46:35This partnership has taken a significant leap forward
00:46:43since you assumed office,
00:46:46particularly in the areas of the new economy,
00:46:51energy, advanced technology,
00:46:54artificial intelligence, and industry.
00:47:04An assessment to this is the UAE's plan
00:47:07to invest in the U.S. in these sectors
00:47:13through the UAE's investment bonds
00:47:15at a total value of $1.4 trillion
00:47:19over the next 10 years.
00:47:26Additionally, major partnerships and projects
00:47:31are underway between private sector entities
00:47:38in both nations.
00:47:44Beyond these areas, our countries maintain
00:47:48a strategic partnership in the field of space exploration,
00:47:52and the astronaut program, and the asteroid belt mission.
00:48:04In this context, I would like to share something
00:48:07that may not be widely known.
00:48:10The American spacecraft Apollo 17,
00:48:17that flew in 1973,
00:48:19has carried the UAE pilot's journey to the moon.
00:48:24That same flag was later sent by NASA
00:48:28to our nation's founding father,
00:48:30the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan, in 1973,
00:48:36along with a fragment of lunar rock.
00:48:44Sheikh Zayed met with Apollo astronauts
00:48:49on several occasions, and he had a deep
00:48:51and enduring mission for the UAE to reach space.
00:48:58Mr. President, in March of this year,
00:49:01you stated that the UAE and the United States
00:49:05have long been partners in efforts
00:49:09to bring peace and security to the Middle East and the world.
00:49:14Today, I reaffirm to you
00:49:18that the UAE remains committed
00:49:22to working with the United States
00:49:29to advance peace and stability in our region and globally.
00:49:37Once again, Mr. President, I warmly welcome you,
00:49:41and I'm confident that this visit will have a profound
00:49:46and positive impact on the future
00:49:50of our bilateral relations.
00:50:00Well, I'd like to thank you, Your Highness.
00:50:04What a lot of people don't know,
00:50:06I think my staff is very surprised by it.
00:50:10You and I have been friends for a long time.
00:50:13We've been good friends.
00:50:15And what they don't know about you
00:50:17is that you are considered a truly great warrior,
00:50:21and you've been through the wars.
00:50:22You're a great warrior, a very strong man,
00:50:25a brilliant man, a man of vision like few others,
00:50:30like few others, and highly respected.
00:50:32When they know you, there's tremendous respect,
00:50:35and you're so respected in the Middle East.
00:50:38It's really amazing.
00:50:41You know, we've done the tour
00:50:43with two of your very good friends.
00:50:44You know that.
00:50:46And we were talking about you,
00:50:48and I won't tell you everything they said,
00:50:51but I can say it was all good.
00:50:53It was all good.
00:50:54Total admiration and respect for what you've done
00:50:59and who you are.
00:51:01And they said, when he gives you a handshake,
00:51:04when he makes a deal, that's the deal.
00:51:07And your wonderful brother came to Washington
00:51:12a few weeks ago, and he told us
00:51:14about your generous statement as to the 1.4 trillion.
00:51:19And all I could say is thank you very much.
00:51:22We will work very hard to deserve it.
00:51:27I have absolutely no doubt
00:51:29that the relationship will only get bigger and better.
00:51:33Your relationship and mine can't get better,
00:51:35so I can't say it's gonna get better
00:51:36because it's at the highest level it can be.
00:51:39But our countries will work together.
00:51:43We're, we've become a very hot country.
00:51:46We were not such a hot country six months ago.
00:51:49And now I think we're the hottest country,
00:51:51if you want to know the truth.
00:51:52We had one little indication a year ago.
00:51:57We were having a hard time getting people
00:51:58to join the military enlistment,
00:52:00they call it in our country.
00:52:02We were getting very bad vibes, very unhappy.
00:52:06It was an unhappy country.
00:52:08A lot of foolish things were happening,
00:52:11stupid things were happening.
00:52:12And we just got, Pete, we just got the numbers.
00:52:16We had the highest enlistment numbers,
00:52:18just about, that we've ever had.
00:52:20We think it's probably the highest,
00:52:21but they say, have to be extremely accurate
00:52:25when it comes to the news,
00:52:27because they check every word I say.
00:52:30There's a little bit of an inaccuracy,
00:52:32but I will tell you, we had just about the best numbers
00:52:35for enlistment we've ever had.
00:52:38Every one of our services.
00:52:40I'm very proud of Space Force,
00:52:41because I created Space Force.
00:52:42That was my baby.
00:52:44Hadn't been done in 78 years, a force, a new force.
00:52:47And it's doing phenomenally well.
00:52:49We were not winning the space war,
00:52:52and now we're leading it by tremendous margins
00:52:55over Russia and China, primarily.
00:52:59And so we're very proud of it.
00:53:00But I'm very proud of, maybe even more so,
00:53:02the enlistment numbers.
00:53:03So we went from having a hard time
00:53:05getting people to join our armed forces,
00:53:08and our police, by the way,
00:53:10to having the best numbers that we've ever had,
00:53:13wanting to join.
00:53:14They're proud of our country again.
00:53:16That's a big thing, and to happen so fast,
00:53:19over about a six or seven month period,
00:53:21that's a big honor.
00:53:22And likewise, the police, very hard to get police,
00:53:26and now the ranks are bursting, and with pride.
00:53:31So that's something that we're very happy about.
00:53:34We've had investments in our country
00:53:37over the last three months,
00:53:39but really two months,
00:53:40because it took me a couple of weeks to get started.
00:53:42You know, I had to get a little acclimated again,
00:53:46because we had a very successful first term, as you know.
00:53:49We had one of the most successful economies
00:53:52in the history of our country.
00:53:53First term was amazing.
00:53:56We did a lot of things.
00:53:57We rebuilt our military.
00:53:58We did a lot of great things.
00:54:00And I think this is even gonna be better.
00:54:03But we have now, I think, substantially
00:54:06over $10 trillion of investment.
00:54:10And now when they add the 1.4 trillion,
00:54:14we easily break that number.
00:54:16So that's investment or investment
00:54:19that we think will soon happen.
00:54:21And it doesn't include people that are building,
00:54:23because not everybody comes and tells us
00:54:25that they're building, and it's a big country.
00:54:27But we're having numbers that we've never done before,
00:54:32and that means AI plants.
00:54:34That means that, you know, as an example,
00:54:38a really good example is Apple.
00:54:40Apple is now spending much more
00:54:43than $500 billion on plants.
00:54:46They didn't do that before.
00:54:48As you know, they built their plants in another location.
00:54:51We have the biggest computer company, $500 billion.
00:54:58We have Mr. Wei of Taiwan is spending $200 billion.
00:55:04Jensen is, who's great, Jensen Wang,
00:55:07is spending $500 billion.
00:55:10We have numbers that nobody's ever seen before.
00:55:12That all means jobs,
00:55:13because to me, the most important jobs, I want jobs.
00:55:16And we have costs are way down.
00:55:21Groceries, we have a term, grocery.
00:55:23It's an old term, but it means basically
00:55:25what you're buying, food.
00:55:26It's a pretty accurate term, but it's an old-fashioned sound.
00:55:29But groceries are down, costs are down, eggs are down.
00:55:33First week they were hitting me with eggs,
00:55:35we're up 200%, and now they're down to a number
00:55:41that is amazing, we're down 97, 98% from where they were.
00:55:46And everybody, they said, you won't have eggs for Easter.
00:55:49Well, everybody had eggs for Easter
00:55:52at a very reasonable price.
00:55:53At the White House, we had a little Easter egg roll,
00:55:56and we had hundreds of thousands of eggs purchased.
00:56:00They said, you have to go out and buy plastic eggs.
00:56:03That didn't work out.
00:56:04So we've done a real job, and our energy costs are way down.
00:56:07The energy is way down, gasoline is down,
00:56:09and we have almost no inflation.
00:56:12So we've got the economy back.
00:56:15We've got a border now that's very powerful, 99.9%.
00:56:20And nobody would have believed that was possible.
00:56:22It was a real mess.
00:56:24We had, frankly, an incompetent previous administration.
00:56:28I know you weren't thrilled with them.
00:56:31They abandoned people, and it wasn't that they abandoned,
00:56:33they didn't bother to call people back.
00:56:36They treated people with great disrespect,
00:56:39but part of it was a level of stupidity
00:56:41that we've never seen before.
00:56:43And I'm glad we arrived, and I know you,
00:56:47people also woo you, you're an amazing country,
00:56:50you're a rich country, you can have your choice,
00:56:52but I know you'll never leave my side, I know that.
00:56:58And you know the special relationship
00:57:00that we have and our country has.
00:57:01So our country is back with you,
00:57:04and our country is back in a lot of ways.
00:57:06We have a country with tremendous spirit right now,
00:57:08tremendous, they haven't seen anything like it.
00:57:10I would say this, we're far ahead of schedule.
00:57:13If you would have told me these numbers
00:57:15in a year, a year and a half from now,
00:57:17I would have been very happy with them.
00:57:18But think that substantially more than $10 trillion,
00:57:24you'll have numbers of other presidents
00:57:29where they won't do a trillion dollars
00:57:31in many, many, in a long time, $1 trillion.
00:57:34We did it in two months, because again,
00:57:37you figure three, but let me have one month
00:57:39of fixing up the Oval Office,
00:57:41in other words, getting things ready.
00:57:44And I look forward to having you in the White House.
00:57:47We'll celebrate together.
00:57:49But we are going to be your friend,
00:57:51and we're gonna be your partner,
00:57:52and we really appreciate your confidence and investment.
00:57:56That's your biggest investment that you've ever made,
00:57:59and we really appreciate it,
00:58:00and we're gonna treat you very,
00:58:03as you should be, magnificently.
00:58:06And you're a magnificent man,
00:58:08and it's an honor to be with you.
00:58:10My honor, Mr. President.
00:58:11Thank you very much.
00:58:13Thank you, sir.
00:58:15Shukran, Shabab.
00:58:16Shukran, Shabab.
00:58:18Dakhil, Hussam.
00:58:21Mr. President, Your Highness,
00:58:25Your Excellencies, distinguished guests,
00:58:28in recognition of President Donald Trump's
00:58:30exceptional efforts to strengthen
00:58:33the longstanding ties of friendship
00:58:35and strategic partnership between
00:58:37the United Arab Emirates and the United States of America,
00:58:40I am honored to announce that His Highness,
00:58:43Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan,
00:58:46bestows the Order of Zayed upon President Trump.
00:59:59Excuse me.
01:00:00Everyone, please.
