00:00So here I am, I'm in Carrickstown at the minute, so excited but there's nobody around so it's kind of weird.
00:10I'm still waiting on Ferris City's newest hottie and he's not here yet so I suppose I'm on my own.
00:17Hello?
00:19Hungry pig, now.
00:21What are you for, Brendan?
00:28Well, if you're looking for a job, we don't have any.
00:30No, it doesn't matter.
00:33Waste of bloody time.
00:35So, Callum, this is where you've been hiding.
00:37Hi, how are you doing?
00:38I'm not so bad.
00:39How does it feel to be on the biggest soap in Ireland?
00:41It's really weird, you know, because I got told just out of the blue after doing an audition and it's really surreal to kind of see yourself on telly.
00:50So, you know, Pa and Niamh are such big characters in the show and obviously you'll be working with them a lot.
00:55Is that a bit intimidating on you?
00:57Those, like, Clelia and Tony would have been the two people that I would associate with the show most, like the Brendan family.
01:03Whoa, whoa, whoa, stay back there now.
01:06Look at him this morning.
01:07Yeah.
01:08Well, what the hell are you doing here then?
01:10I think I'm your son.
01:12So, it's kind of surreal now that I'm the son, the new son coming in.
01:17But it's been, they've been lovely.
01:18Like, they've just helped me along and I've been able to learn so much from them, you know.
01:22So, in the show you play the bad boy.
01:23Is that what you prefer to play?
01:24Or would you rather be an innocent boy?
01:27It's cool.
01:29It's good coming in to play, like, a bad character because it gives you something to play with.
01:33Well, that's it.
01:34I'm calling the guards then.
01:35Yeah, go for it.
01:36Paul, are you not going to get rid of him?
01:38Yeah, come on.
01:39Get out!
01:40Get out!
01:41Paul's a bit of a ladies' man in the show.
01:43Are you a bit like your father?
01:44Does the apple fall far from the tree, you know?
01:46There's one lady in particular who's very beautiful.
01:50Avian McCauley plays Cueva Dillon.
01:52There might be a few more down the line that kind of threw it up out of the blue.
01:57I think I'm definitely my father's son, I know.
01:59So, how does it feel to have so many cameras in your face every day?
02:02I've one in front of me now and I'm all ready, you know.
02:04It's actually quite difficult to get used to a cast and crew, like, all kind of watching you.
02:10But you do get used to it.
02:11I do get used to it.
02:12There's actually filming stuff down on the lot now if you want to go down and see the whole process.
02:16Oh, really?
02:17Yeah, do you want to see how it seems?
02:18Oh, okay, can I come?
02:19Yeah, come on.
02:20So, here we are on the lot now.
02:22And as you can see, they're starting to film, so we need to just keep it down a tiny bit.
02:25And the extras are walking over now, Fass McCoy's.
02:28I was surprised by how real everything looked when I came down.
02:31It looked so real.
02:32I thought on camera everything was.
02:34I thought they had actually built, you know, and it's crazy.
02:36Where would you film most of your scenes that you've done so far?
02:39So, I've kind of stayed a lot in my dad's garage, which is just around the corner there.
02:44He knew your name.
02:45Well, that's because it's in letters.
02:47Go to Fuhoy over there.
02:48Your character, Callum, he's a bit of a bad boy.
02:50Is that natural to you?
02:52No, I wouldn't be the most threatening kind of people ever, so.
02:56You know it's true.
02:57Did you take lessons?
02:58I did.
02:59There's a scene in The Hungry Pig where I'm meant to swipe a five-year-old off a table.
03:05I kind of sat down at my table at home and kind of practiced the shiftiest way I could kind of take it.
03:11I've actually stolen a bit of money off people from the set, you know, just to get into it.
03:15Okay, let's cut that bit out, I'd say, yeah.
03:17I got their own kind of physicality down, you know.
03:20I got a different Callum walk than I would a Sean walk.
03:22Do you want to show me your Callum walk then?
03:24Yeah, sure.
03:25With the head up properly.
03:27Hands in the pockets, you know.
03:31And it's the threatening face.
03:33Pulled up works as well.
03:35Well, listen, thanks a bit, Sean, for taking your time out today and talking to me, really.
03:39No, it was my pleasure.
03:40And best of luck in the future.
03:42And, yeah, where's my wallet?
03:47Eh.
