00:27and has faced 800 job rejections. He is now working for DoorDash and living in an RV to

00:33make ends meet. Despite his extensive experience, he feels invisible in a job market increasingly

00:39influenced by AI, which is expected to take over coding tasks in the near future.

00:46Elon Musk's Grok AI has been generating responses related to the conspiracy theory of white genocide

00:52on the social media platform X. This behavior has raised concerns about the reliability

00:57of the AI, and its connection to Musk's controversial statements regarding race and violence in South

01:03Africa. Warner Bros. Discovery is reverting its streaming service name back to HBO Max,

01:11announced during its Upfront event. This change comes two years after the service was rebranded

01:16to just Max, as the company aims to emphasize its HBO content, which has become increasingly

01:22dominant in its offerings. John Carmack has suggested that the world could function on

01:28older hardware if software optimization were prioritized. He emphasizes the need for developers

01:34to adopt more efficient coding practices, which could enable outdated systems to perform effectively

01:39without the introduction of new technology. Digital Foundry has revealed that the Nintendo Switch

01:462 will experience a significant performance drop in undocked mode, with lower GPU clock and memory

01:52bandwidth, compared to docked mode. While the CPU clock speed increases when undocked, players will face

01:59reduced graphics performance away from a TV. Uber is launching a new feature called Route Share,

02:06offering affordable fixed-route rides in major US cities, allowing riders to save up to 50% on trips

02:12during peak hours. This initiative aims to attract customers amid economic pressures, and includes

02:18features like ride passes for price locking and partnerships for enhanced services, with future

02:23expansions to include autonomous vehicles. NOIB, a privacy advocacy group, claims that Meta is

02:30violating GDPR regulations by attempting to train its AI on e-user data without explicit consent. The group

02:38argues that Meta's reliance on the legitimate interest exception is incorrect and threatens legal action

02:44if the company does not change its approach to data collection. Valve is enhancing its SteamOS by

02:51introducing a SteamOS-compatible label for games, indicating their support for the operating system.

02:58This initiative aims to expand SteamOS beyond the Steam Deck, with over 18,000 titles expected to be marked as

03:04compatible, improving game functionality and compatibility for users.

03:10Volkswagen and Rivian are collaborating to produce the ID Everyone, a $22,500 electric vehicle

03:16that aims to combine affordability with advanced technology. Rivian Software Chief stated that low-cost

03:30The U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee has proposed a 10-year preemption of state AI regulations,

03:38allowing only Congress to regulate AI. Critics argued this would hinder state responses to emerging

03:44AI issues and override existing laws, potentially stifling progress in consumer protections as states have been

03:50more proactive in addressing AI-related challenges. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman discussed how different age groups

03:58interact with ChatGPT, noting that older users often see it as a Google replacement, while younger users,

04:04particularly college students, utilize it as a life advisor. This trend reflects a shift in how

04:10technology is integrated into personal decision-making processes. Toyota has confirmed that the all-electric

04:17CHR will be available in the U.S. next year, featuring a range of 290 miles and 338 horsepower.

04:24The compact crossover will come with a single 77K WH battery option, and will include advanced

04:31charging capabilities, although pricing details have yet to be revealed.

04:37Google DeepMind has introduced Alpha Evolve, an AI capable of creating and optimizing complex

04:43algorithms autonomously. This system enhances efficiency in Google's data centers and chip designs,

04:49solving long-standing mathematical challenges, and showcasing its potential for broader applications

04:54in fields like material science and drug discovery. The new LFXV13B0.97 Distilled GGUF model has been

05:04released, allowing users to utilize it within ComfyUI. This model supports various configurations and

05:11workflows, enhancing video generation capabilities. The recent update to the MLA and Flash Attention

05:18integration integration in LAMA CPP allows for a 47% reduction in KV cache size by utilizing only the KCache.

05:27This optimization enables the full context of 160,000 tokens to occupy less than 11 GB of memory,

05:34enhancing efficiency in processing. The new MUVI Gen 1.1 GGUS model is designed for cinematic workflows,

05:43particularly enhancing detail in T2V applications. While currently limited to T2V, it offers significant

05:51quality improvements, and can be integrated with ComfyUI for various model configurations.

05:57Topaz Labs has released Video AI version 7.0, featuring the Starlight Mini model that allows local rendering on

06:04Windows machines with NVIDIA GPUs. This update promises significant improvements in video restoration

06:11capabilities, offering faster and cheaper processing compared to its predecessor, along with enhanced

06:17features like live export previews, and better EXR support. Step 1xEdit is a new image editing model

06:25inspired by GPT-40, capable of performing multiple edits based on user prompts and input images.

06:32It features multimodal processing, is open source, and can be utilized with a 24 GB VRAM GPU,

06:39offering simplified node interface usage for efficient image generation.
