Trump Discusses Ongoing Negotiations With Iran At State Dinner In Qatar

In remarks at a Qatar State Dinner, President Trump discussed negotiations with Iran.

00:00How everybody was involved, put a lot of customers back, involved and involved.

00:07You're also working with us very closely with the negotiating deal with Iran,

00:13which is the far friendlier course that you would see.

00:19Two courses, there's only two courses. There are three or four or five.

00:23There's two. There's a friendlier and a non-friendlier.

00:26Non-friendlier is a viable course, and I don't want that.

00:30I said, no, but I don't want that. They have to get moving.

00:34I hope your Iranian leaders understand that what you're doing,

00:40really what you're doing for them is a big favor.

00:42Your prime minister, you're a great leader.

00:47Right here on my left has been helping so much, and they respect them,

00:51and they listen to them. They have to get moving.

00:53They have to make that decision. It's their decision.

00:58Because we want to see Iran do well, thrive, be successful, and everybody be happy.

01:04I know many Iranians. I know many Iranians living in New York or Washington, D.C.

01:10They're great people, and we want to have this end peacefully, not horribly.

01:18So I just want to thank the United States for that act of help.

01:23We're really helping the region. We're helping the world. We're helping your country.

01:28And we'll try to get it done. If we can, we're going to try to get it done.

01:31They have to move quickly.

01:33And I just hope Iran realizes what a good friend they have right here.

01:37And in a certain sense, it gets up with Iran.

01:40I think there's a lot of people who rather have to take a much more harsh road.

01:46But I know that if we can avoid that road, that would be a great thing.

01:50I'd like to do that. This is an exciting time in America, as you know. It's really exciting.
