00:00That's Kim Kardashian with mom Kris Jenner arriving at a French courthouse where she
00:08delivered emotional testimony in the case against the 10 people accused of robbing her at gunpoint
00:14back in 2016. Where she lost up to $10 million in jewels they had stolen from her. And was
00:20duct taped and thrown in a bathtub with a gun to her head and thought she was going to die.
00:25Which is why she showed up to court now dripping in diamonds, necklace, earrings, even a ring
00:31that looks like the one the robbers were allegedly after that night. All delivering a powerful
00:36message. Which according to Kim's lawyer who came on TMZ Live was. Think of it this way.
00:43She was being her authentic self. A.K.A. It was a big screw you to the robbers. It was like
00:48I'm not going to change. Total screw you. Ten defendants most in their 60s and 70s. The ring
00:52leader is old Omar. Pretty sure he goes just by Omar. Pretty sure he doesn't cheap Derrick.
00:57But yes the accused ringleader old Omar wrote a letter of apology to Kim which was read aloud
01:02in court. And Kim responded. I forgive you but it doesn't change the feelings and the trauma and
01:08the fact that my life was forever changed. But I do appreciate the letter. Thank you.
01:12She also got very emotional talking about the terror she felt that night.
01:16Described how they people were in masks. Some of them in police uniforms.
01:21holding her at gunpoint. She said that she was telling them like
01:25please please I have babies. I have babies. Thinking that they would spare her life.
01:29I mean there were people who thought Kim was going to be sympathetic because she's working
01:34on you know the Innocence Project. And she did do that and said this is a balance between
01:38trying to be empathetic for people that are imprisoned or convicted and who seek redemption
01:45and also advocating for victims of crime and victims of violent crime as she was.
01:50And hopefully justice will finally be served nine years later. Good luck Kim.
