00:00In a small, sun-drenched village surrounded by hills and streams, lived a boy named Tumbo.
00:09He was round as a pumpkin and always thinking about food.
00:13From the moment he woke up to the moment he slept, his belly rumbled like a distant drum.
00:19Tumbo's mother cooked all day—rice, beans, roasted yams, fried bananas, sweet cakes, and stews bubbling with spices.
00:27But no matter how much she made, Tumbo always wanted more.
00:32At school, Tumbo carried a secret stash of snacks in his bag.
00:36During lessons, he'd sneak bites of roasted corn or sugarcane while the teacher's back was turned.
00:42During lunch, he'd trade stories for sandwiches and jokes for juice.
00:47The villagers often laughed kindly at his big appetite.
00:51Tumbo's belly is never full, they'd say.
00:54But one day, the village elders announced a festival—a grand feast to celebrate the harvest.
01:01Everyone was excited, especially Tumbo.
01:05On the big day, Tumbo arrived early.
01:08He piled his plate high with every dish, then returned again and again.
01:13He ate so much that he fell asleep right there under the mango tree, snoring loudly, with crumbs on his cheeks and a smile on his face.
01:22But when he woke up, the feast was over.
01:25The music had stopped.
01:27The lanterns were dim.
01:28Tumbo looked around.
01:30Everyone had danced, played games, and shared stories while he had slept through it all.
01:35For the first time, Tumbo felt something deeper than hunger—regret.
01:41He realized he'd filled his belly, but missed the joy.
01:44From that day on, Tumbo still loved food, but he also joined the dancing, helped in the cooking, and laughed with others.
01:53His appetite remained big, but so did his heart.
01:57And the village loved him all the more for it.
02:00All the more for it.
