00:00Well, less than two weeks away from my planned strike.
00:03They've been without a contract now since March of last year.
00:06A brighter financial future. Oh, really?
00:09When you think about workers who are organizing,
00:13particularly in the 21st century,
00:16the first people that come to your mind are not white-collar,
00:20insurance, financial service workers.
00:23Everybody was like, how the hell did you guys do that?
00:26But it was all just, like, us just being crazy enough to think,
00:31yeah, we have the right to do this.
00:33These people are not lazy. Not by a long shot.
00:37If you're working for a living, you're working class.
00:40Think about the way corporate America is going.
00:43Madison has the same kind of malaise as every place else.
00:46People just feel like there's nothing they can do and no one's going to fight.
00:49And so now you get these, like, nerdy office workers
00:52going on a strike of hundreds of people.
00:55I think something broke open here.
00:57There's possibility.
