00:00I've been coming on close to 30 days of being in the mud.
00:22This is when you think about tapping out, nothing's right.
00:26This is like my FBOSS card out here.
00:29I haven't had a feeding phase, really.
00:34And that's so disappointing.
00:37We've got to make some shit happen.
00:39Annette could change the game, I reckon.
00:43My morale is usually good.
00:46But then when I've got food in me,
00:49positivity out my arse.
00:51Oh, my God!
00:54Rhea! Rhea!
00:56I've lost a lot of jerky.
00:58You've got to sleep with us tonight.
01:00Get! Get!
01:02I've only got two feeds left.
01:04Because I haven't caught any off in a few days,
01:06because I haven't had bait.
01:07You beauty!
01:08Check this shit out.
01:09That's made the treat worthwhile.
01:11Woohoo!
01:12Man, I've never seen that before.
01:14That's a fair hole.
01:16I've lost more than 25 kilos,
01:19so I don't know if that is kind of classifying as starving.
01:24Ah!
01:26That was the closest I've come to passing out.
01:30They've moved a lovesy.
01:32They've jumped a lot.
01:33Whoa, crazy.
01:34They've nearly administrated that the man around the city.
01:35Look at all the citiesyr that they're coming up about to pass.
01:37And they miss the opportunity,
01:38they müssen back to you for a live stream of,
01:39they're within the cả.
01:40The communities that are Victorian means lotblers.
01:41Looking up.
01:42They're not going to find a new home.
01:44Are youropolis that you don't know how to access them,
01:45you're Fam entr' in?
01:46To be continued...
02:16Oh, the sun's come out.
02:22I reckon today's going to be a sunny day.
02:26That's exciting.
02:28I might wash some socks and undies.
02:33And myself.
02:36Which I'm pretty excited about.
02:43You have fire?
02:46So, tea tree and Tasmanian pepper both have antifungal, antimicrobial properties.
02:57Plus, they smell really good.
02:59I'm going to wash my shirt.
03:00Is it funny how we take hot running water for granted?
03:06That's why I love doing stuff like this, because it really puts things into perspective.
03:11And it smells so good.
03:16So I'm filthy.
03:18After digging for worms and going to bed with dirty clothes, you know, five weeks.
03:26Everything dirty is now washed apart from me.
03:34I'm getting in.
03:37Oh, I'm so excited.
03:39I'm going to be clean.
03:40I'm going to be clean with.
03:45Oh, my God, you're a whale.
03:52Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
03:57Okay, that's it.
03:59I can't do it.
04:00I'm no good at cold water.
04:01That has got to be one of the highlights of my entire time here, actually.
04:10This is just bliss.
04:28But, sitting on this beach, looking at the sun, actually some company would be nice right now.
04:36I don't want to leave here, but I just want to go back just for a day.
04:41I just want to go back and get some hugs.
04:47I've tried so hard all my life to be independent.
04:51I thought being alone would be the easy part.
04:57But the longer it's going, the harder I'm finding it.
05:04Craving connection.
05:06To the point where last night, instead of dreaming about having cravings for certain food,
05:15I was having cravings for certain people.
05:19And just wanting people.
05:26Isn't that...
05:28I didn't expect that.
05:29I hope I can carry this feeling with me back home, that when I was out here a month,
05:38because all I wanted was a hug.
05:52It's kind of nice.
05:54Morning.
06:15Morning.
06:15I can't say last night was hugely successful, but we did catch an eel.
06:25But it's only about that round.
06:29That's the smallest one I've ever seen.
06:34Oh no, that part's done.
06:38Sip that up in the smoker to dry out.
06:42It's the smallest little eel I've ever seen, but anyway, it's better than nothing, almost.
06:53But yes, definitely not going nuts out there, but I think I'll just enjoy my last meal.
07:00I've got a few fiddly little food scraps.
07:03I've got one little scrawny little eel, and that's about it.
07:07And then we are going hungry.
07:11All right, first job this morning, process.
07:17It's the smallest eel in history.
07:28Can't see him.
07:29Do the claws got in there?
07:41Definitely not under here, is he?
07:46I'd like to find him all stinky.
07:50What?
07:51Fuck.
07:52Yep, he's gone.
07:53All right.
08:07That is very disappointing.
08:08So at least.
08:09Shit.
08:10Righto.
08:11We won't make that mistake again, mother.
08:13Just, you know, when you're getting low on food, it just becomes a bit of a worry, you know?
08:30Like it's something that just won't leave you alone.
08:47Well, I've got some bones.
08:48Looking at it, it's not a lot of food, is it?
08:49Anyway, that's all I've got.
08:50I reckon I can feel I'm losing a bit of weight now.
09:03I'll go and eat.
09:04All right.
09:05Crispy eel buns.
09:06Food's just driving you nuts.
09:07Especially at night.
09:08Christ.
09:09And I've been eating Jesus a bit anyway.
09:10So it's going to be interesting when I go into not eating at all, see what happens.
09:26So I've thought of everything I can to procure food, catch bait, catch fish, catch eels, but
09:35it's definitely not enough.
09:37It'd be good to stock up me pantry.
09:41Just keep trying to come up with better ideas.
09:46Jesus, man, I'm running out now.
09:49I'm just hoping if I could just keep fishing, you know, it'd be great if I could get an
09:57eel tonight or tomorrow night.
10:01If not, we start counting the days I don't eat.
10:08Because we haven't done that really yet.
10:12If we don't catch anything tonight, it could be the beginning of the end.
10:18So I've woken up and didn't really sleep.
10:47I don't know why.
10:48I'm just a bit restless.
10:52Had my first little vibe of loneliness when I wake up that I've had out here.
11:02First little feeling, you know, just like that empty, that empty feeling in your stomach.
11:17It's the first time I've felt it out here.
11:20It's definitely a feeling that pulls you, you know.
11:32It's like a feeling that makes you want to go.
11:35I'm going home.
11:40You know, it's the vibe it gives you.
11:47It really is.
11:49There's no two ways about it.
11:53Abby and our two daughters.
11:56That's how I'm missing the most.
11:58How I met Abby, my wife, was living in the bush when I was 19.
12:08She had her own trap line and I had mine and we'd go out in the bush during the day and then come back and meet up at camp every night.
12:16Are we going to dig up some potatoes?
12:18It's definitely a rare thing to find someone who can do that.
12:22So I realised pretty quick that she was a keeper, so yeah.
12:27Are there any spuds in there?
12:31You know, the fact that I have a wife to a lot of people I went to high school, it was crazy.
12:37Because I never talked to girls or anything like that when I was in high school.
12:43We got them all?
12:44Alright, let me take them inside.
12:46I was super awkward.
12:48Probably had a bit of social anxiety.
12:51I don't know why, but I did.
12:56We really are soul mates.
12:58Oh, you got the spuds in one hand.
13:01Meeting Abby.
13:02And I feel very, very lucky to have done that.
13:09As much as I'm missing my family, I'm also trying not to wish away this amazing adventure that we're on.
13:17Because this is something to cherish as well, you know.
13:21Oh, we're up and taken down to the river.
13:24You know, that opportunity to take home quarter of a million dollars.
13:32It's this sort of once in a lifetime for my family.
13:38Let's get in the water.
13:40See how we go.
13:42This is Huey Waits on the bottom.
13:45Today, I want to get my gill net in the water.
13:49Stayed up late last night.
13:51Finishing it off.
13:58Catching more trout.
13:59We've had some success with the sphere, but it's pretty on and off, and it depends on the weather.
14:06I need to figure out another way so that I can get food out here, so that I can stay out here longer, you know.
14:16If I don't get food, I'm pretty much buggered.
14:19I see a gill net, I'm watching it like a hawk.
14:29And I feel better about the gill net because it doesn't take as much energy, you know.
14:34God, that neck can change everything for us, eh?
14:38If we start catching a few trout.
14:42This looks like there's a bit of colour over there, Miami.
15:07Surely not.
15:09It's probably just the pole reflecting off the water.
15:21The pole's not moving much.
15:26But I can definitely see something there.
15:33Oh, yes.
15:34We've got up there.
15:35Holy heck.
15:36That's a nice trout.
15:37It worked.
15:38But you know me, it does work.
15:40Yes.
15:41Chicken.
15:42Holy cow.
15:43Holy cow.
15:44Holy cow.
15:45Holy cow.
15:46Oh, yes.
15:47Oh, yes.
15:48Oh, yes.
15:49We've got up there.
15:50Holy heck.
15:51That's a nice trout.
15:52It worked.
15:53You know me, it does work.
15:55Yes.
15:56Chicken.
15:57Holy cow.
15:58Yes.
15:59Chicken.
16:00Holy cow.
16:01Oh, that's why it's not there, isn't it?
16:02He's got a neck wrapped right around its gill.
16:04Yes.
16:05Holy shit, man.
16:06Look at that.
16:07Yee-hoo.
16:08Man, I can't believe that.
16:09The net works.
16:10I reckon that's probably the biggest one we've caught so far.
16:14This is a game changer, man.
16:15Oh, that's why it's not there.
16:16Oh, that's why it's not there, isn't it?
16:17He's got a neck wrapped right around its gill.
16:18Yes.
16:19Holy shit, man.
16:20Look at that.
16:21Yee-hoo.
16:22Man, I can't believe that.
16:23The net works.
16:24I reckon that's probably the biggest one we've caught so far.
16:35This is a game changer, man.
16:38Holy shit.
17:02Right.
17:04See that?
17:05Look what I found.
17:06It's a little moth.
17:07Mm-hmm.
17:08A bit of protein, a little bit of fat.
17:13Don't taste that bad moth.
17:18I think today's 13 or 14 days since I've eaten.
17:25That's ridiculous.
17:28So the whole idea is to take one or two rods and just put some worms out there and just see what happens.
17:48This is the weakest I've felt.
17:49Like I've actually got aches in my stomach right now.
17:50I could vomit almost.
17:51It's a hunger I've never felt.
17:53My mouth's dry.
17:54Yeah.
17:55I don't know how much hunger I've got in terms of everything.
17:58Something that keeps me here is a chip on my shoulder to prove something all the time.
17:59To prove that I am just as capable as any other man.
18:00And that's something I've had for a very long time and stems from having one here.
18:01It's a hunger I've never felt.
18:03It's a hunger I've never felt.
18:04My mouth's dry.
18:05My mouth's dry.
18:06Yeah.
18:07I don't know how much hunger I've got in terms of everything.
18:12And something that keeps me here is a chip on my shoulder to prove something all the time.
18:21To prove that I am just as capable as any other man.
18:26And that's something I've had for a very long time and stems from having one hand, I think.
18:32Sometimes it's to my detriment.
18:36What I'm throwing my way up is when do I go enough's enough?
18:42Am I being a bit soft talking about this?
18:46Dunno.
18:58Guys, I'm going to check that line over there.
19:00That one's a little bit tight.
19:03Throne looks taut.
19:04Right, here goes.
19:05Hey!
19:06Oh my God!
19:08Geez, I caught a trout!
19:10Oh, yes!
19:11Oh!
19:12Oh!
19:13Oh, my God!
19:15Geez, I caught a trout!
19:16Yes!
19:17Oh!
19:18Oh, my God!
19:19Oh!

23:15Shit.
23:36Big deal.
23:42That's exactly what I want.
23:49Shit.
23:51That wasn't good, was it?
23:56Well,
23:57you made this fish.
24:06Oh, I've got you this time.
24:11You are a thumping eel.
24:20Hell in, you dickhead.
24:23Wet jocks.
24:26Gum bleeds full of water.
24:31Check that out.
24:33That is the biggest deal off court.
24:37You're going in a bag.
24:40Nothing's pinching you, Carl.
25:02Well,
25:03that was an interesting night.
25:07So I'm going to have to
25:09process the eel this morning
25:11and get the fire going,
25:13have a feed.
25:14So that's the plan.
25:16There's maybe four days of food
25:18in that eel.
25:19That is a thumper.
25:23Right, where are we going to skin you?
25:24You know, physically, I feel really good.
25:31And mentally,
25:33this doe is really crap.
25:36On me last meal again.
25:37But one eel on the top of the world again,
25:40and away we go.
25:41Oh!
25:41I'm a happy boy.
25:43I'm a happy boy.
25:45We'll get back and get him smoked up.
25:48What a night.
25:50What a morning.
25:54Awesome.
25:55Look at all that meat.
25:56and let's eat.
26:03Oh!
26:04This is going to be good.
26:06You know,
26:07I've eaten every day,
26:12except for the first five days.
26:15A bit of char is good.
26:17So I've been able to feed myself
26:19every single day
26:20that I'm out of here.
26:21I think that's a hell of an achievement.
26:23And I continue to.
26:25I'm happy with that.
26:26I'm really proud of that achievement.
26:29You were worth going for a swim for it,
26:32are you?
26:34How lucky am I to be here?
26:36Fun, I tell you.
26:59I'm having fun.
27:01Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun, fun.
27:04This is a place
27:04and a time to enjoy myself.
27:10Oh, look at those muscles.
27:11I look like a bodybuilder.
27:14Arrgh!
27:16Arrgh!
27:16Arrgh!
27:17Arrgh!
27:23Arrgh!
27:27I've eaten trout and
27:28I can't believe it.
27:30Food in my belly,
27:31but I'm on top of the world.
27:33Thomas, get up.
27:35Thomas, get up.
27:45Huh.
27:48I've had a look at my bird traps down.
27:53All right.
27:54Something's happened.
27:55There's no bird in it.
28:04Worms are gone.
28:10What's going on here?
28:13Let's see what you tell us.
28:14Oh, wow.
28:15Oh, wow.
28:20Wow.
28:22A spotted tail crawl.
28:24Oh, that's awesome.
28:26Oh.
28:29No way.
28:31You cheeky little bugger.
28:34Oh.
28:36He's coming back.
28:37Oh, I have never seen one in the world.
28:41I've worked with them.
28:43That's so cool.
28:44That's why I love ecology.
28:45Oh, you awesome thing.
28:48I'm trained as an ecologist
28:49because I genuinely am interested
28:52in the way the natural world functions.
28:55Oh, yeah.
29:01Oh.
29:03Yes.
29:04That's cool.
29:05You know, that stuff,
29:07that's exactly what I live for.
29:09I love that.
29:10Oh, mate.
29:11That gets my heart.
29:13That is the stuff
29:14that I love.
29:18It's a discovery.
29:19After such a hard day yesterday,
29:23and then that trout,
29:24and then seeing this,
29:26my mood's at 10.
29:28Okay.
29:30I'm trying to reset this trap.
29:35Best I can do now
29:36is just keep going.
29:39Being alone, honestly,
29:41it's the adventure of a lifetime.
29:44This is the ultimate adventure.
29:47Oh, look at that.
29:49Trap's set nicely.
29:53Oh, I'm so happy.
29:55I'm so goddamn happy.
29:56I'm so goddamn happy.
30:11Day 37.
30:21My body's weak at the moment.
30:27Had no food hanging in my shelter
30:29since day 25.
30:34It's an eel.
30:35It's an eel.
30:36It's an eel.
30:37Fish came on two weeks ago.
30:40I got an eel.
30:42How does it feel?
30:45Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
30:49There's a rainbow trout in my neck.
30:51Oh, my goodness.
30:53Oh, my goodness.
30:55An eel on the, on the bush pole.
30:59That trout, pretty sure it's a brownie.
31:02What a blessing.
31:03Thank you, God.
31:04Thank you, God.
31:06That, since then, no luck on the fishing front.
31:11You know, my body's just getting to the end of its limits.
31:17I'm more prone to having some stumbles.
31:21You know, it's dangerous.
31:25Probably to do with getting skinny and not eating much.
31:30Body kind of, you know, consuming muscles.
31:41I'm worried about, you know, blood pressure, heart rate,
31:44and all that.
31:47But I'm not hitting the self-destruct button here.
31:56I'm still keen to, you know, keep making improvements.
32:00To my shelter.
32:02I think I'll start with this door.
32:08Okay.
32:10So, this is what I need to fix.
32:14To be honest, I'm feeling just nauseous.
32:19Just that it's not that good.
32:21They wait.
32:23I'll have to stop them the rest.
32:26Sorry, I'm like...
32:28Oh!
32:30I'm going to shift myself over to that rock.
32:53It's funny about the notion of tapping out.
33:10Just those words.
33:12They just don't sit right with me.
33:14It just equates to giving up.
33:19Nothing can defeat me because God is with me.
33:24Isaiah chapter 54, verse 7.
33:26I don't know where I'd be in this experience without my faith.
33:38Not in as good a spot as I am.
33:41Like, I've just got a surge of, you know, hope and happiness in me.
33:45When that scripture came to mind then.
33:48And with that, I reckon I've got enough energy to move over to my rock.
33:52Slowly.
33:54Slowly.
33:55Slowly.
33:55Slowly.
33:55Slowly.
33:57Slowly.
33:58Slowly.
33:59Ah!
34:01Ah!
34:02Ah!
34:04Ah!
34:05Ah!
34:06Ah!
34:07Ah!
34:08Ah!
34:09Ah!
34:10Ah!
34:11Ah!
34:12Ah!
34:13Ah!
34:14Ah!
34:15Ah!
34:16Ah!
34:17Ah!
34:18Ah!
34:19Ah!
34:20Shit!
34:50Oh, shit, no, that hurts.
34:58Just starting to get some pain in me left ankle.
35:01Only hit me probably half an hour ago.
35:07Oh!
35:17Feels like I've rolled me ankle, but I know I haven't.
35:21So it could be gout, something that I suffer from.
35:25And when I get it acute, I can't walk.
35:30I've had it so bad that I've been laying in bed and the toilet was just there
35:37and I couldn't even get out of bed.
35:38It was just so painful.
35:40It'll piss me off.
35:42And that's how bad it can get.
35:45It just won't go away.
35:46It's not like a pain.
35:47When it comes and goes, it just comes and just stays there and just gets worse, worse, worse.
35:52But the gout could be coming from the eels too, you know, really rich food.
35:59I don't know.
36:03Ow!
36:04You know, it could be just a twinge and it'll go away.
36:16It feels like I've broken the ankle.
36:30That's gout.
36:32It's a build-up of uric acid, which is like smashed-up glass, basically.
36:37I only get acute gout like this, maybe twice in a year.
36:43So it had to be now, didn't it?
36:48Well, I'll try and get this gum boot off.
36:50Oh, come on.
37:00Ow, ow, ow.
37:02I barely get my boot off.
37:07Come on.
37:14Oh, fuck.
37:16Oh, it's a shock.
37:21It's a shock and thick.
37:23I'd rather have broken fucking ankle and gout.
37:27Oh.
37:30Fuck.
37:33Oh.
37:37I haven't had one of these probably ten months, maybe longer.
37:41Oh, but when they come, fucking hell.
37:48Let's see how puffy the ankle is.
37:51It's a big one.
37:54Just like I've sprained it.
37:59I'd rather shove it.
38:07Fuck out.
38:11So, tonight's not going to be a good night.
38:17It's going to be fucking hell.
38:19Hell on earth.
38:25One thing I never thought about was getting bloody dragged because of gear.
38:32I'm not ready to go home.
38:36I just hope it goes away.
38:37Alone Australia, powered by Kia.
38:47It's the ultimate human endurance challenge.
38:50The battle is on to survive alone in the rugged Tasmanian wilderness,
38:54with the winner taking home a prize with $250,000.
38:58I couldn't help myself.
39:20I came down here, put the net in and put the line in.
39:27You can't say we're not trying anyway.
39:29I just really don't want to eat worms again today.
39:36The longer time goes on, the less patient I am with waiting between decent meals.
39:44Because, because of the lack of food, you know, I can see my time slowly whittling away.
39:55God, I would love a fish again.
39:58Holy shit, that was a trout.
40:13I just saw a trout jump right there where I've got my line in.
40:23Oh, I'm going to take my pants off, because there's that many snags out there with all the old trees in the water.
40:37Holy shit.
40:39Did you see that?
40:42Okay, then I'd like to show a minute.
40:44This isn't really something I can pass up, you know?
40:59It was cold, though.
41:02Whoa.
41:07Oh, shit, I can feel a fish.
41:09Oh, what's going on is inside the log.
41:17What are the chances?
41:21Trying to sort of reach under here.
41:29Oh, shit.
41:32It's like underneath the roof.
41:34It is trippy.
41:39I'm going to reach in there, see if I can get my hand around it, girl.
41:51Ah, that's fine.
41:53Shit.
42:06Oh, water.
42:07Oh, man, I'm going to have to get that wet.
42:15Oh, it's another brown.
42:17We're not eating worms today, team.
42:20We're going to be eating trout.
42:22Yes.
42:24Oh, man, that makes me so happy.
42:28Oh, yes.
42:32That is awesome.
42:34Bloody wet, and I'm happy as.
42:36We're going to celebrate and have a little feast.
42:42Things are looking up, man.
42:44They really are.
42:47We are not leaving.
42:48Day 40, you know, it's a big mark for me, because that's, of course, how many days Jesus was tested for in the wilderness.
43:14Before he started his public ministry, he was led into the wilderness for 40 days.
43:20And it says in the Bible, he was tested in every way, every way, physically, emotionally, spiritually, you know, sexually, psychologically, every form of temptation, every testing possible.
43:39And he didn't eat one bit of food, but the whole time.
43:44I've been thinking about that a bit, because obviously there's some parallels out here, like.
43:49You know, I'm being tested.
43:51And maybe me seeing how far I can go physically is part of that.
44:01Well, I ain't coming here to test your limits, and...
44:06Yep, man, it's all right.
44:09I need a morale boost, so it's, um, time to go beat up.
44:19See what happens.
44:24I've got my shuffle on.
44:26It's my default.
44:28Number one rule.
44:30Good walkers.
44:31Lift their feet up high.
44:35See that little root there?
44:37He'll do it.
44:39I've got to keep up my feet.
44:49Oh, that was not a soft man.
44:54All right.
44:57See what's left in the worm bag.
45:07You can sit down.
45:08I'm not feeling overly amazing.
45:11Because part of me so wants to just go home.
45:15But in my head, that's not my call.
45:19That's the medic's call.
45:22Nothing wrong with that offering, that's for sure.
45:26I'm done to send it out.
45:28When it comes to where I'm at physically, I'm just going to trust the medics.
45:35I've learned that throughout my sporting days, and especially playing footy.
45:41When I've sustained an injury, it's not up to me to go, oh, I can't go on.
45:47Take the decision out of my hands, you know?
45:49I can't go on.
45:50I can't.
45:51Father, let me let you know.
45:56You're okay, then we can help it out.
46:02Okay.
46:02Oh, my God.
46:32Ow, ow, ow.
46:46Let's have a look.
46:50You still see it's sort of fat.
46:52You know, if I get a cute gout, well, I'm going to be immobilised.
47:03I won't be able to hardly move.
47:04I could probably crawl out and cook.
47:06But, you know, I'd be able to go and gather wood or go fishing.
47:09Like, it's that bad.
47:11It's just bloody horrible.
47:12How's that?
47:30Oh, fit for a king.
47:32If you look it up, it's one of the worst pains that a male can go through.
47:43And it just gets worse and worse and worse.
47:46And it's cruel.
47:51Oh, ow, ow, ow.
47:53It would be so inapt that you get taken out of this adventure with gout.
48:00Oh, ow, ow.
48:30The weather forecast is mentally fine and mostly sunny.
48:58Physically, a body very much in decline.
49:05I've been so blessed to be physically strong and healthy my whole life.
49:11I've always been a big, strong unit.
49:14I've had a big, powerful body.
49:16And now I do not.
49:19I can fit my thumbs.
49:23I've had a big touch and, you know, I've got the fattest part of my thigh.
49:27Yeah.
49:27Yeah.
49:38That's pretty skinny.
49:41That's pretty darn tootin' skinny.
49:45I can't keep writing checks that your body can't cash.
49:51I think that sounds like the body.
49:59Oh, boy.
50:03It is here.
50:03Oh, man.
50:07It's my heart pounding.
50:08Hey, man.
50:20Hey, Will.
50:22How have you been?
50:22OK.
50:23Um, mentally and emotionally not too bad.
50:28Physically, I've been getting pretty spent, though.
50:30Um, yeah, just getting pretty worn out at the drop of a hat.
50:35All right.
50:35Pop yourself on if you could.
50:36All right, let's stand up.
50:58Yep.
50:59All right, how are you doing?
51:00Yep.
51:01You all right?
51:02Yep.
51:06If you do your breath, let me know when you're happy.
51:09All right, you're a bit wobbly there.
51:12There, you got it?
51:13Yeah.
51:14All right, do you mind lifting up?
51:15Have a listen to the back.
51:16Big breaths.
51:20And out.
51:22And again.
51:24Over.
51:25And out.
51:27And last time.
51:33All right.
51:34Get yourself comfy.
51:35We'll just have a chat with the team.
51:36It's just a big moment, whether I'm staying or going.
51:50But if Doc says, hey, you got a little bit in your tank,
51:53part of me will be disappointed I'm not seeing my family sooner.
51:58Part of me goes, hey, still in the game.
52:01There might be a few extra pages in this chapter yet.
52:10It may be.
52:12It may not be.
52:17Hey, Ben.
52:19Hey.
52:21Well, I see your blood pressure's dropped from a very healthy level to a very low level,
52:27and that's what's making you feel light-headed and making you faint.
52:30Yeah.
52:32I think it's unsafe if you just stay here any longer.
52:38I'm sorry if we're going to have to medically evacuate you.
52:40That's good.
52:51It's good.
52:52It's good.
52:56It's beautiful.
52:57Mentally, I'm good.
53:06Emotionally, spiritually, I'm cherry ripe.
53:09Never better.
53:09But I've found my physical limit.
53:26I was pulled on day 40, just like my Lord and Saviour, Jesus.
53:32Pretty special.
53:33And it was after those 40 days in the wilderness that he started the next chapter of his life.
53:47I am ready to go home and begin the next chapter.
53:54And to just embrace it with a smile on my face and joy in my heart and God by my side.
54:03And now, just looking back, I have been taught how to be a better man, a better husband, a better father,
54:11and I just can't wait to put that into practice.
54:17I feel so, so blessed.
54:33I'm not ready to go home.
54:55Not now.
54:58Not here.
54:59All I want to do is just go home.
55:08Stump is frozen.
55:10So it's all numb.
55:11I'm about there down.
55:12Frostbite?
55:13Yeah, it's proper pain.
55:14I really hope my period comes soon.
55:19I want to have children.
55:20I don't want my reproductive system shutting down.
55:23It's stressing me out.
55:25There's a paddy melon.
55:26It's fully inside of our tracks.
55:29Ah, yeah.
55:30Mate, that was so freaking close.
55:32If only had it landed on the plate.
55:34Jesus.
55:37We're concerned.
55:38It's a risk you're staying out here.
55:40After all this hard work, you know?
55:44We'll be in.
55:44We'll be in.
56:03We'll be in.
