00:00Were you always a fan of pink? Was pink always your color? Or were you like, I need to love it now?

00:05I do think I definitely need to love it now, but I've always enjoyed pink, which I think is a good thing.

00:10I'm so excited about this. This is going to be so much fun. Are we going to learn how the bend and snap originated?

00:15Well, I guess you'll have to watch the show and find out.

00:18I guess we'll have to wait and see. You know, since this is Elle in high school, this is obviously before she became interested in law.

00:25What kind of things is she interested in when we first get to meet her?

00:28Sure. Well, Elle's in high school, so she's still trying to figure out who she is as a person.

00:34She definitely loves fashion, still, just like she did in the movie.

00:37But again, I think what audiences are going to love is she really gets to discover herself during this time.

00:43What is it like having Risa as a collaborator? Obviously, she's an EP on the show, but what was it like having her as a collaborator as well?

00:49She's just the best. She's so warm, so caring. She's always checking in with me, making sure I'm drinking enough water,

00:56making sure I'm getting enough rest, and making sure I'm just taking in every moment, which I really appreciate.

01:04She's amazing.

01:05Definitely. What was that one piece of advice? Did she tell you to kind of take a step back and take it all in?

01:09Exactly. Just take it all in, because, I mean, this is such an incredible opportunity,

01:13and every day, I just, I am so grateful to be here, and I'm like, what the heck? How is this my life?

01:21How do you prepare for a younger version of Elle? Like, how do you prepare for a high school version?

01:26Did you go back and watch the originals, but how do you also make this your own as two?

01:29Sure. I've probably watched the movie over 50 times, perfected my Jennifer Coolidge impression as well along the way,

01:36and, you know, as for making it my own, I think the director, one of the directors, Jason Moore,

01:43he said something that really stuck with me, which is, do the work, do the prep, and then throw it away,

01:48and let your instinct take over, and that's really what I've tried to take to heart,

01:52and add, like, my own little thing to it, yeah.

01:57Any musical performances in this one as well?

01:59You know, I can't say, but I will say, we'll have to check it out.

02:07TBD, we'll have to wait and say, is there anybody from the originals that you would love to have a cameo?

02:12I know you can't tell me, but if you could pick one to have a cameo, who would it be?

02:15I mean, I would love, love, love if Jennifer Coolidge could make an appearance.
