00:23And as our Daniel Manalastas reports, an opposition senator hailed the comeback wins of Senators-elect Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilinan

00:30in yesterday's elections where showbiz and sports celebrity status did not suffice for a win.

00:39As the people have already decided for the Hatol ng Bayan 2025,

00:44Sen. Joel Villanueva thanked the teachers for serving as vanguards of the ballots.

00:50While Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian said it is crucial for the comelec to ensure that the teachers who serve as poll workers

00:58will receive their honorary on time.

01:01For his part, former Sen. Tito Soto, who is now included in the top 12 in the recent vote count, expressed gratefulness.

01:10Former Sen. Kiko Pangilinan, who is also winning the election race, said he was surprised by the results.

01:17Dahil nga base sa lahat ng mga surveys, wala tayo lagi sa top 12.

01:24Sabi ko nga, kailangan namin ng milagro para manalo at mukhang yun ang nangyari.

01:31For Sen. Risa Hontiveros, the real opposition is getting stronger in the Senate and Congress.

01:38Hindi ito simple comeback. Pinapatunayan lamang ang halalang ito.

01:45Nahangad pa rin ng masang Pilipino ang pamahalaan ni puso, may prinsipyo at may tapang malingdigan.
