00:10by dedication, compassion, and excellence. Born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee,

00:14Cordell was a proud alumnus of Bearden High School, where he excelled both academically

00:18and athletically. His passion for basketball led him to Maryville College, where he played

00:23as a forward for the Fighting Scots men's basketball team. Standing at 6 feet 7 inches

00:28and weighing 230 pounds, Cordell was known for his formidable presence on the court

00:33and his unwavering commitment to his team. Beyond athletics, Cordell was a dedicated

00:38scholar, majoring in neuroscience at Maryville College.
