The overseas Taiwanese community in Toronto has taken part in an annual charity run to call for Taiwan's inclusion in the upcoming World Health Assembly. Participating under the name Team Taiwan, the group raised US$8,000 and said it hoped to show Taiwan's commitment to fighting global health issues.

00:40The head of Taiwan's representative office in Toronto also thanked Canada
00:43for openly supporting Taiwan's inclusion in the Assembly.
00:47It's one of the few countries to do so.
