00:00Previously on Neighbors.
00:02How do you get so cashed out?
00:03I have a friend who finally paid me back for an old job.
00:06When are you free for round two?
00:07I've reached out to others that I hurt.
00:09Tess, and Dee.
00:11At least they gave me an inch.
00:14Won't be raining money on my family when I carve it.
00:18I remember you wore that when you took me to the ballet as a kid.
00:21Well, Noel, Sadie plans to look after my pieces.
00:30Neighbors. Everybody needs good neighbors.
00:37With a little understanding.
00:42You can find the perfect plan.
00:48Neighbors should be there for one another.
00:55That's when good neighbors become good friends.
01:05So get this right now.
01:07Apparently, I bought Nicolette a pack of cards from the family.
01:11Yeah.
01:12There have been many games that have snapped in the house recently.
01:15Ooh, who wins?
01:17Oila.
01:18She has white line fever. She's so competitive.
01:21Well, Nicolette was like that when she was a child.
01:24Yeah, board games, sports games, mate.
01:26Hey.
01:27Oh, it sounds like me.
01:29Perhaps we should have a family board game, sir.
01:32Oh.
01:33You look fabulous.
01:34Especially your mums.
01:36Oh.
01:37Someone's in a good mood.
01:38Yeah, just happy to see you all together.
01:40Enjoy your evening.
01:43Well, maybe we should order.
01:47We've already ordered, Mum.
01:48Oh, no, I meant food.
01:50Yeah, Nan, it's coming.
01:52I'm telling.
01:53Oh.
01:54Chilly me.
01:58Cheers.
01:59Oh, I didn't realize the time.
02:01Could you tell Susan by when she gets back to my bathroom?
02:04Sure.
02:05I'm about to have an online dinner with my daughters tonight.
02:07Oh, nice.
02:08Yeah.
02:09But, Gerais, do you mind if I tend to a matter of the tram tomorrow?
02:12No, no, that's fine.
02:13Maybe Darcy can step in for you.
02:15Yeah.
02:16What's happening?
02:17Oh, there's just a fungus issue I need to investigate.
02:21Hmm.
02:22Yeah.
02:23Lydia.
02:24Hey, it's sunny Manhattan here.
02:26I was just thinking about you.
02:27Well, they're the kind of thoughts better discussed in person rather than over the phone.
02:43Oh, do you?
02:44No, no, no.
02:45I'm up for it.
02:46When?
02:47I look forward to it.
02:48Oh, it's all good.
02:49Uh, cheers.
02:50Yeah, nah.
02:51Good on you.
02:52Sweet.
02:53Sorry.
02:54Sorry.
02:55Sorry.
02:56I didn't mean to interrupt.
02:57No, nothing.
02:58You bought it.
02:59Oh, it's all good.
03:00Cheers.
03:01Yeah, nah.
03:02Good on you.
03:03Sweet.
03:04Later.
03:05Sorry.
03:06Sorry.
03:07I didn't mean to interrupt.
03:08No, nothing.
03:09You bought it.
03:10You're okay.
03:11You're a bit jumpy lately.
03:12Just.
03:13Nope.
03:14Getting to whip your butt at cards again.
03:15Really?
03:16Show us your tricks.
03:17Come on.
03:18Tricks, I reckon.
03:19Oh.
03:20Well.
03:21Oh.
03:22Oh.
03:23Well.
03:24Oh.
03:25Oh.
03:26Oh.
03:27Oh.

03:31Oh.
03:32Oh.
03:33Oh.
03:34Oh.
03:35Oh.
03:36Oh.
03:37Oh.
03:38Oh.
03:39Oh.
03:40Technically this is the best.
03:41But this one, it really captures your spirit.
03:45Oh.
03:46That's the one I was going to choose as well.
03:49You know, Byron made his mum a mug just like that.
03:53Oh.
03:54He made one for me too.
03:57Really?
03:58He said that you didn't remember.
04:00That's what he was talking about the other day.
04:03I didn't realise.
04:04No biggie.
04:05no biggie well how about i make your cup of tea in that mug and you can tell me what you've done
04:11with the rest of the clothes i'd love that so last night was nice huh all the non-fighting
04:22non-arguments pretty uh non-eventful although i have been thinking about something that mum said
04:29i'm sorry that's not cool huh you don't even know what it was i just i just assumed it was mean i'm
04:38sorry go on you think she might be having memory issues all the odd things that she's done since
04:46her arrival i just thought that was mum being her usual drama queen center of attention yeah
04:54but after last night i've just got this niggle that maybe there's something else at play
05:05hey hey i just came from nan's and you'll never guess what she found the mug what hey hang on she
05:12was so insistent nothing didn't exist yeah she just forgot i think she's a little absent-minded
05:18morning got a note in my diary you've got a new script due soon i weaned myself off the painkillers
05:28a week or so ago really what you're not taking anything just the natural supplements congratulations
05:34look if you need me excuse me i've got a meeting to get to
05:53mate are you serious we just rushed ourselves a little more never hurts
05:58what's all the working out at the moment anyway you're making the rest of us look bad
06:02you gotta keep the ladies happy yo hey piano bar you know how you used to be a performer yeah that's
06:11me you have a lady friend and she wants to keep things fresh she made a request for me to put on a
06:16show any moves you will in a show you must really like this girl huh yeah you could say she makes it
06:22worth my while all right i can give you a few tips on the way to work but listen the golden rule is
06:28you need to create a persona and you have to stick to that performing is as much about personality
06:35as it is your body well hang on hang on i want to get this down i'll have to get back to you about
06:41about that your bike oh hey hi what you doing here i just thought i'd pop in see if we could have a
06:47coffee oh yeah well i mean that'd be nice but um i've got a meeting and can i take a rain check um
06:53yeah sure sorry yeah i'll see you later then okay
06:57oh yeah could i get a green tea yes i'll see you again you too i'm so sorry i missed you at the
07:12school protest oh yeah yeah that was uh that was a busy time yeah is uh susan coming um yeah i want to
07:21see you alone um it's about darcy oh what's he up to what makes you think he's up to something oh the
07:30fact that he's darcy okay yeah right well um you said on the phone you hadn't seen him for a while
07:37not since the divorce well you were married yeah the woman who left him at the altar 20 years ago wound
07:45up marrying him after all oh well do you mind telling him more it's just it darcy's moved back
07:55to ram's history i could use any intel i can get it's it's not a pretty story
08:06i don't want to seem unduly suspicious but we don't want to ignore anything either i understand
08:13so how can we help well i don't have the best relationship with mum and so i would appreciate
08:18an objective opinion if either of you noticed anything well there have been a few moments of
08:26forgetfulness we heard her called darcy peter once but look it is common for when people do change
08:32environments that there's a period of adjustment and there are a lot of explanations for memory loss
08:37and harold he thought he had dementia turned out he was just mixing medication but look if it helps i
08:43mean it could be worth getting some tests done by carl or darcy mum and i are only just starting to be
08:49civil if i bring this up this is going to cause more drama oh why don't why don't i talk to her
08:57well yeah you know that might seem less of an attack yeah be careful though it's a touchy subject she
09:02mightn't be aware that there's a problem and if she is she might be afraid to have her fears confirmed
09:08um well i mean it can't hurt to try and look i'll be careful
09:13okay hey um i was wondering if you're free for a catch-up you know maybe play a game at snaplet you
09:31said last night oh well i was just about to catch the courtesy bus actually to go to the pharmacy
09:37can you come back later uh yeah sure sure um you're doing some paperwork oh i've just been
09:44procrastinating about doing my banking for ages so much fun hey um if you want i can i can help you
09:52with this oh it might take a couple of hours a few hours with you none i don't mind well that would be
09:59wonderful okay about 15 years ago darcy and i ran into each other at a mutual friends party
10:07i wanted to leave straight away but like a fool i got to talking he was lovely
10:17he apologized for the way he treated me said that um he'd done a lot of work on himself
10:23and you want to make amends yeah
10:28i found myself falling for him again
10:31only this time i didn't have alice jamison or lynn scully to step in so you got married
10:39it was the worst two years of my life
10:41and that's coming from someone who was mrs brendan bell what happened
10:50he cheated on me used me like an atm gas lit me into thinking i was wrong all the time
10:58it started to feel like i was back in ramsey street in 2001 yeah
11:02a half expected d-bliss to turn up i'm so sorry that you had to go through that
11:10and i i'm i'm just surprised i didn't hear about it from anyone
11:13i got so much grief getting back with darcy i wanted to keep the wedding quiet and the
11:18divorce even quieter i haven't seen him since
11:22i'm sorry no no no no there's no need to apologize
11:33and there's more
11:39oh hello dr darcy you're off the hook uh i didn't know i was on one helping me with all that boring
11:47life admin stuff byron's offered to do my thanking this afternoon oh i don't mind i know but i've got
11:55to let him you see he was so touched when he realized i still had that silly mug he made for me
12:02he wanted to do something nice oh that is nice you know i think moving to erinsborough was a good idea
12:17oh somebody said there was a fire
12:25i heard there was a fire where's the fire it's hot in here isn't it oh it's hot where's the fire show
12:41me the fire where's the fire in your gorgeous eyes
12:48don't let me stop you this is the first time i've seen a grown man try and seduce himself
12:52i'm going on a date oh yeah who is she i mean clearly someone who has a uh appreciation of the
12:58fine efforts of our first respondents no one you know yeah well champagne chocolate i mean that's a
13:04bit much for a daytime hookup though gonna make a good first impression okay i'll see you later
13:17marriage breakups always messy no i said and did things i regret but in the end he owed me fifteen
13:27thousand i doubt i'll ever see it again he was juggling a few debts then who else does he owe money
13:33to he was always cagey about it but he was in business with another doctor and things went south
13:39money was involved what's this doctor's name anthony hellsworth do you know him no no it's not ringing
13:47your bell
13:51you think i'm a fool don't you no no i think you've been taken in by a very skilled manipulator again
13:57he's down to susan again and me and then the arena residents think he's perfect
14:02well what are you gonna do i just don't know well look just remember this no matter what darcy says
14:11or does his true nature will always come out eventually
14:20come in hello oh mr darcy miss ananda delighted to see you
14:30hey um can i have a quick word before byron arrives i know you're an independent and capable woman
14:39but i don't want to see you in a situation where you're vulnerable
14:42i'm sorry i don't follow okay well uh one thing we're hyper aware of at arena rising
14:49are residents running the risk of elder abuse now if byron or any other member of your family
14:55sticks their nose into somewhere where they're not wanted
14:58you know you can come to me what prompted this well the fact that your grandson has ignored you for
15:07years and and now he's offering to help you with the banking i mean it might be innocent
15:13but sadly um when people with assets get on in years their relatives can see it as an opportunity for
15:21themselves byron's not like look they might couch it in terms of taking the burden off but they're
15:33actually rest in control of your assets
15:39there's probably nothing to worry about but just in case
15:43i'm always here for you okay
15:53this still somehow feels weird yeah well at least it's going to good news
15:59hey nice shades expensive too a couple hundred easy yeah how'd you afford those you solid kidding
16:05tips i've seen you serve drinks you ain't that good ah you haven't seen all i can do oh yeah how was

16:40smells like the cheap stuff do you want drinks or not okay fine let's do it
16:45we'll go get a move on
17:05peter used to handle all of this i never got the hang of it
17:08now do you know how many bank accounts you have here oh a million it seems like
17:16um have you ever thought about maybe combining them all i mean i could do some research for you
17:21and present you with some options oh wonderful yeah how about i make us some more tea yeah yeah um
17:29now and sadie said that you uh well you forgot you had this
17:33yes just slipped my mind ah that's all right it's look i've just been speaking to susan kennedy and she
17:42said that harold bishop had some memory issues from mixing his medications oh there's nothing wrong
17:48with my medications okay it's just um it's just that you forgot that we ordered dinner last night
17:56what are you trying to suggest that i've gone gaga uh no no is that why you offered to help me with
18:05my banking oh no i just want to take some burden off your shoulders burden off my shoulders yeah i've
18:13been warned about people like you people nan i'm i'm just trying to help you i was offering you the
18:18chance to make up for the fact that you've been absent in my life if this is how you're going to behave
18:25i'd rather you didn't nan everything okay byron was just leaving oh no no i don't ah darcy please show
18:35him out maybe you should do what she says okay
18:55make sense hey um i'm sorry mom i i've had a complete mess of that what was it really that bad
19:06yeah maybe you should try talking to her oh hey hey oh i can come back later oh no that's that's
19:15fine i've already told everyone what happened with amanda oh yeah how are you feeling
19:20um you know what don't worry about me i'm more worried about nano uh how was she after i left yeah
19:28she'll be all right no but how was she well um your grandmother is a super independent woman
19:36and i think she gets a little triggered when someone challenges that okay um is that august darcy
19:43what's that oh um well look amanda had a moment um she got a little agitated i i don't think she
19:54meant to do this i'm gonna pay for drinks you are all right this round's on me whoa who even has cash these days
20:15uh people who get lots of tips why don't you join us smash out now i should be encouraging you to save
20:24that but considering you're you that would be a wasted effort and i will take a chilled red copy that
20:31hey uh how was your date huh oh your moves were so helpful thanks is that right hold on a minute
20:40how did you make so much in tips a lot of germans and americans came through i think i'm gonna have
20:48to learn a few moves from you i was lucky
20:56right now we're home i can tell you something the meeting i had at the track it was with tess bell
21:02why didn't you say so i would have loved to say hello oh was this about darcy yep oh i thought you
21:13were going to drop it did you know that tess and darcy were married no two years ended in divorce
21:22it's funny that he didn't mention yes exactly well maybe he was embarrassed
21:28maybe his behavior was appalling he cheated on her and used it for money is that what tess said yeah
21:35yeah apparently he was in business with some doctor uh uh anthony someone anyway that went sour
21:42doesn't sound good no it doesn't why hasn't he told us any of this i don't know we should at least
21:49hear his side of the story well darcy is a compulsive liar he's clearly got an agenda
21:54susan the man is a conniving snake he can't tell me what you really think car
22:06coming up on neighbors they're nice kicks yeah thanks wow they look exy how'd you afford them
22:13you want my money well i'm here to tell you there's hardly any at all the specialist called
