In House floor remarks on Wednesday, Rep. George Latimer (D-NY) slammed President Trump's actions.

00:00I would like to be an admist consent to address the House for one minute and to advise and extend my room.
00:04Without objection, the gentleman is recognized for one minute.
00:06Thank you, Mr. Speaker.
00:08Today I'd like to honor George Torres and Ursula Cruz-Green from Bronx Community Board 12,
00:14which serves the North Bronx neighborhoods including Wakefield and Edenwald in the 16th Congressional District.
00:20My friend Richie Torres represents other neighborhoods in this area.
00:24George Torres is the district manager of Community Board 12, born and raised in the Bronx.
00:29His parents still live in the Parkchester home that he grew up in.
00:33After serving in several roles in the Bronx for city and state officials, including Jose Serrano and Mayor Bloomberg,
00:40George joined Community Board 12 in 2015.
00:44His experience makes him a tremendous liaison for public officials and community leaders in the Bronx.
00:50Ursula Cruz-Green is the community coordinator and has been with Community Board 12 since 1995.
00:56She started as a temporary employee and her hard work paid off, becoming a permanent employee six months later.
01:03Ursula's dedication to the community is clear to anyone who knows her.
01:08Our community is lucky to have such dedicated public servants like Ursula and George.
01:14Thank you, Mr. Speaker, and thank you both Ursula and George.
