00:07Developed in the 1970s by General Dynamics, the F-16 was built for air superiority.

00:14But over time, it became a true multi-role aircraft, capable of striking air and ground

00:21targets with precision, top speed Mach 2.0 over 2,400 km per hour, range 4,220 km with drop tanks,

00:34service ceiling 50,000 feet, engine Pratt & Whitney F-100 with 29,000 pounds of thrust,

00:42maximum G-force, plus 9G, equipped with AIM-9 Sidewinders, AIM-120 AMR aims, laser-guided and

00:54GPS-guided bombs, and a 20mm N61 Vulcan cannon. It features advanced radar, a fly-by-wire system,
