In a world where the shadows of the ego blend with the light and the noise of thought drowns out the voice of the soul, there exists a truth beyond time, beyond dogma, beyond everything we've been taught. It is the living truth of the Consciousness of Christ. We are not speaking of a historical figure, nor of a religion, nor of an imposed belief. We speak of a latent force within you, a divine spark that needs no temples, no rituals, no permission. A presence that whispers in silence, that heals without touch, and guides without demand. This is not an ordinary text; it is a key, a calling, a map back home. Emmett Fox, mystic teacher and visionary, invites us to dive into the deep waters of the spirit. He teaches us not to worship Christ as a distant idol, but to embody Christ as living consciousness, to live not from the mind nor from fear, but from the source. Prepare yourself not to listen, but to awaken; not to understand, but to remember who you are. Welcome to the Consciousness of Christ. Welcome to yourself.

00:00:00In a world where the shadows of the constructed personality blend with the light of true being
00:00:05and the noise of the conditioned thoughts that we think drown out the voice of our soul.
00:00:12But there, right there, exists a truth beyond time, beyond dogma, beyond everything we've been taught.
00:00:20It is the living truth of the authentic self, the sacred self.
00:00:25This is not quite just an intellectual concept.
00:00:28It's not a fleeting emotion or some kind of belief, no.
00:00:34I'm speaking of the latent force within you, a divine spark that I've seen in people arise time after time
00:00:42to heal and transform them.
00:00:45It's a spark that needs to fulfill its purpose of arising from the darkness into the light,
00:00:51from the subconscious to the conscious.
00:00:53The sacred self, our soul, is a presence that whispers in silence, that heals without touch
00:01:01and guides without demand.
00:01:04What the paradigm process is offering is a map back to your essential nature.
00:01:09The work teaches us not to strive after external ideals, but to embody the sacred self as living consciousness.
00:01:19To live not from the conditioned mind, nor from the fear and the frightened personality,
00:01:26but from the very source of our being.
00:01:28As we're prepared to do the work, we don't just listen, we're awakened.
00:01:34Not just to understand, but to remember who we truly are, beyond the personality.
00:01:40The paradigm process is a call to awaken, from the personality to spirituality.
00:01:45There is no deeper need in the human soul than to remember its true origin.
00:01:52Not an intellectual memory or emotional nostalgia, but a living reactivation of the being that
00:02:00lies behind every mask of personality.
00:02:03Behind every one of our names.
00:02:05Before every thought we think.
00:02:07Often you will probably think that you want to return to a time such as this.
00:02:15A time of sanity, order.
00:02:18A time of peace.
00:02:20In previous explorations of mind, we've exposed the fundamental principle that
00:02:25thought must align with the spirit for the soul to find peace, purpose and power.
00:02:32In other words, when we're on purpose, we're powerful and peaceful, and when we go astray
00:02:38from our purpose, we suffer.
00:02:41We become powerless.
00:02:43But there was always a spark of the spirit, of the soul, of something below the mask.
00:02:50It is right there that we began to train the mind to think from a place of universal truth.
00:02:55But now we must go further.
00:02:57Beyond thinking from the sacred self.
00:02:59We must move from awareness to acceptance and into action.
00:03:04We must live as a sacred self.
00:03:07If we want to be free from suffering, we cannot go on imitating an external life, but must embody
00:03:14its inner consciousness.
00:03:16We can't seek a distant time in the future to lull us into some sort of false sense of hope
00:03:23that lies around the next corner.
00:03:25Rather, we must recognize ourselves here and now as a living extension of being, of life.
00:03:33The sacred self is not a historical archetype, nor a theological symbol.
00:03:42The sacred self is a frequency, a consciousness, a vibration and a presence.
00:03:49It's definitely within each and every one of us.
00:03:52And this is what we need to return to.
00:03:54So in essence, getting well, healing and transforming is a return to love.
00:04:02This work of the paradigm process is a call to allow that seed in you to germinate finally,
00:04:09to grow and become the tree of life from which everything is revealed with clarity.
00:04:15Living from an awakened state of consciousness or the sacred self isn't a mystical exaltation
00:04:24reserved for just a few people.
00:04:25No.
00:04:26It is the inevitable destiny of every single one of us that grows wary of the conflict,
00:04:33the suffering, depression, anxiety, and the illusion of the separate self.
00:04:38The illusion created by the persona and the emotional waves that follow.
00:04:43Bring the desires for us to finally embrace the stillness that is far beyond IQ or intellectual
00:04:50understanding.
00:04:52It is no longer about adjusting negative thoughts or training oneself in correct affirmations
00:04:59anymore.
00:05:00It is about surrendering the entire analytical mind conditioned by the personality so that
00:05:07silence can speak, so that the eternal word, the essence of being really, can take
00:05:13form in you.
00:05:14In other words, you become who you really are without the masks, without the frightened
00:05:20personality.
00:05:23At this point on the path, an inescapable truth arises.
00:05:29It's not about changing the world.
00:05:32That's a trap.
00:05:32It is about ceasing to inhabit the world created by the personality and remembering there is
00:05:39another one, a real wonderful world that exists beyond the personality.
00:05:46You see, your personality creates your personal reality.
00:05:50The way we think, act, feel, behave, the way we respond to people creates our moods, our thoughts,
00:06:00our temperament, our personality traits.
00:06:03And then one day, the person who we believe we really are.
00:06:07A person who may be eccentric, controlling, dependent, depressed, but that's not who we really
00:06:14are.
00:06:16That is the choking that we feel from the masks of the persona.
00:06:22The consciousness of the sacred self is not reactive.
00:06:26It does not judge from the personality standpoint, so does not defend itself.
00:06:31In other words, it doesn't go into fight, flight, or freeze.
00:06:34It doesn't seek to prove anything.
00:06:37It doesn't wait for external validation and needs no people-pleasing or codependency to
00:06:44keep it safe and well.
00:06:46It simply is.
00:06:48And it is this presence within each of us that we need to access again to get us well,
00:06:54to help us overcome what holds us back.
00:06:58You see, everything is ordered.
00:07:01There are no accidents in God's world.
00:07:04The very vibration of who we really are has an inherent authority and power.
00:07:11It's existence is enough to reveal the truth of who you really are, who other people are,
00:07:18and what is happening in the world around us.
00:07:22The journey from the personality to the sacred self, it's basically like looking in a mirror
00:07:28without form, without time, without effort.
00:07:31It will not give you the formulas you need to get well, to grow, or to triumph.
00:07:38But the mirror is there to help you become your authentic self.
00:07:42It will show you that you actually never really left it.
00:07:46And from that recognition, the soul will cease to strive to become something that it's not,
00:07:53to defend itself in what it perceives as a violent, malevolent, and hostile world.
00:07:59This is when, this is when the personality becomes an actual obstacle.
00:08:06The personality that once helped us, saved us from harm,
00:08:11through fight, fight, freeze, flop, fawn, feint, fiddle.
00:08:15It helped us survive in a hostile world when we were young.
00:08:20But eventually, it chokes us.
00:08:23It leads to depression, stress, disorder.
00:08:27So the work here is not about improving your personal story.
00:08:34It is actually about gently integrating and dissolving it into the light.
00:08:39So that what you truly are, through all that you've done and been, through your story,
00:08:45can be lived without interruption.
00:08:47Remember nothing of what you truly are, no matter how hard life has been,
00:08:57no matter how many traumas you've suffered, has actually been lost.
00:09:01It has only been veiled by the personality.
00:09:04The work you need to do to create a paradigm shift removes that veil.
00:09:12Not with violence, but with certainty.
00:09:15Not with anxiety, but with reverence for life.
00:09:19Because what is waiting for you is not on the outside.
00:09:23It is already within you.
00:09:25Silent, unalterable.
00:09:27Waiting for you to stop searching through the personality,
00:09:29and begin rather to see with the eyes behind the eyes,
00:09:33and begin to live in your true essence.
00:09:38This freedom brings peace, bliss, and contentment,
00:09:43because we don't make requests of ourselves from a perspective of lack.
00:09:48What we start to realize is that I am the source, and the source is in me.
00:09:55As the saints and mystics have taught us,
00:09:57only what is divine exists.
00:09:59Only what is true will last,
00:10:01and that is who I am.
00:10:05The consciousness of the sacred self is not attained through the efforts of the personality.
00:10:11It is remembered as the personality actually yields.
00:10:15When we start living from source,
00:10:17living from authenticity,
00:10:19without the defense mechanisms that are so entrenched in us,
00:10:23we're ready to transform
00:10:25by being able to move beyond intellectual thinking,
00:10:29where we can start integrating body, heart, and mind,
00:10:34IQ, EQ, and CQ, or contemplative intelligence,
00:10:38higher intelligence,
00:10:39into helping us live from a place of being.
00:10:43There's always a point for all of us in any kind of journey,
00:10:50including a spiritual journey,
00:10:52where positive thinking,
00:10:54as a strategy of the personality,
00:10:56is no longer enough.
00:10:58There's some moment, always,
00:11:01when repeating truths no longer transform,
00:11:03because the soul senses that the problem is not merely in the ideas it holds,
00:11:08but in who it believes itself to be the mask of the personality.
00:11:15For years, we may have trained the mind,
00:11:18the instrument of the personality,
00:11:20to correct its course.
00:11:22We replaced negative narratives with affirmations of good where we can.
00:11:27We've watched our words,
00:11:29disciplined our emotions,
00:11:31chosen higher thoughts.
00:11:32We've probably tried it all at some point.
00:11:34And all of that has been useful for refining the personality.
00:11:39But if consciousness does not take the next big step,
00:11:44a paradigm shift in identity,
00:11:46transformation stagnates,
00:11:48and suffering arises.
00:11:50Because thinking well from the personality,
00:11:53from the limbic system,
00:11:55from the lower brain,
00:11:56from the lizard brain,
00:11:58is not the same as living from being,
00:12:00from the sacred self.
00:12:01Thinking that happens in our frontal lobes.
00:12:0540% of our brain.
00:12:07The CEO of the brain that we hardly use,
00:12:12because the brain itself loves working on subconscious,
00:12:17automatic, habitual repetition.
00:12:22Sooner or later, we stop creating,
00:12:24and our brains recede into the known,
00:12:28the certain,
00:12:29the stagnant.
00:12:30You can think of love,
00:12:35and still feel separated from it,
00:12:37if the personality remains,
00:12:38the seat of your identity.
00:12:41Remembering who you really are,
00:12:43will set you free.
00:12:44You see,
00:12:45you can affirm abundance,
00:12:46and continue vibrating,
00:12:48and perceive lack,
00:12:50from the personality's perspective.
00:12:52Or,
00:12:52you can declare unity,
00:12:54and still judge,
00:12:55from the identity,
00:12:56of the separate self.
00:12:57because correct thinking alone,
00:13:00when originating from an unexamined personality,
00:13:04is not enough.
00:13:06I always say to people,
00:13:07your best thinking,
00:13:09got you here,
00:13:10got you into this chaos.
00:13:13Only when thought arises,
00:13:15from true being,
00:13:17from the contemplative intelligence,
00:13:19and the consciousness of unity,
00:13:21does it carry the healing and creative power of truth.
00:13:26When we look at Jesus and his miracles,
00:13:29he did not think to create miracles from a separated self.
00:13:34He lived from the consciousness of the sacred self,
00:13:37from the indivisible,
00:13:39non-dual being.
00:13:40He didn't need to convince himself,
00:13:43that something was possible.
00:13:45He knew.
00:13:47From that state of being,
00:13:49that,
00:13:49nothing real,
00:13:51could be absent,
00:13:52is the state from which,
00:13:54he spoke,
00:13:55he acted,
00:13:57and he created miracles.
00:13:58Not as one seeking a connection,
00:14:01but as one who knew,
00:14:03that he was never disconnected.
00:14:05See,
00:14:06the difference is total here.
00:14:08Correct thinking,
00:14:09by the personality,
00:14:10seeks to change what it perceives.
00:14:13Thought from the being,
00:14:15the sacred self,
00:14:16recognizes what has always been.
00:14:19You see,
00:14:20what is real never changes.
00:14:22So,
00:14:22while one part of us struggles,
00:14:24the other reveals.
00:14:26Much like Genesis,
00:14:28the beginning,
00:14:29and Revelation,
00:14:30or revealing,
00:14:31it never really ends,
00:14:33this journey,
00:14:34of finding our sacred selves.
00:14:39If we really want to heal,
00:14:42grow,
00:14:43transform ourselves,
00:14:45we must live,
00:14:46from the inner sacred self.
00:14:48It's not about,
00:14:49modifying your inner dialogue,
00:14:51to make the personality,
00:14:52feel better.
00:14:53It is about,
00:14:54undoing the belief,
00:14:55that you are,
00:14:56a separate self.
00:14:57A personality,
00:14:58that needs to improve,
00:15:00to be worthy.
00:15:02You see,
00:15:02so it's not about,
00:15:03your self esteem.
00:15:04When you identify,
00:15:05with the anxious personality,
00:15:08you can start to believe,
00:15:09that's who you really,
00:15:10really are.
00:15:12And to take that mask off,
00:15:14becomes almost impossible.
00:15:16Worse still today,
00:15:17we use medicines,
00:15:19and doctors tell us,
00:15:21to treat that mask,
00:15:22treat that anxiety,
00:15:24so that we lessen,
00:15:25its power.
00:15:26We lessen,
00:15:27its grip over us.
00:15:28But all the while,
00:15:30we forget how powerful,
00:15:31we really are.
00:15:32We need to remove the mask.
00:15:34Anxiety,
00:15:35depression,
00:15:36many personality disorders,
00:15:38addictions,
00:15:39have all been,
00:15:41explained to people,
00:15:43as conditions,
00:15:44that they must live with.
00:15:45That they must find ways,
00:15:46to cope and pacify,
00:15:48these conditions.
00:15:50When someone feels,
00:15:51they can't get any air.
00:15:52When someone's body,
00:15:54has an anxiety attack,
00:15:55without them.
00:15:57You go into medication,
00:15:58and treat the symptom.
00:16:01You treat the separated self.
00:16:04Always,
00:16:05always,
00:16:06always,
00:16:06we're looking,
00:16:08at the external.
00:16:09But real transformation,
00:16:10is about looking,
00:16:12from the eternal,
00:16:13the internal,
00:16:14from the already fulfilled,
00:16:16from the part of us,
00:16:17that needs no justification,
00:16:20no defense mechanisms.
00:16:22From the part of us,
00:16:23that doesn't need to act,
00:16:25to people please,
00:16:26to judge.
00:16:28It's that part of us,
00:16:31that I'm talking about,
00:16:32finding here.
00:16:33As long as thought,
00:16:34is guided by the personality,
00:16:36even spiritualized,
00:16:38personality,
00:16:39it will still remain,
00:16:40limited.
00:16:42And we're unlimited beings,
00:16:44so,
00:16:44it may sound good,
00:16:46it may bring,
00:16:47temporary results for you,
00:16:49treating this personality.
00:16:50But it cannot,
00:16:52sustain,
00:16:53true peace.
00:16:54Because peace,
00:16:55does not arise,
00:16:56from thought,
00:16:57generated by the personality.
00:16:59It arises,
00:17:00from thoughts,
00:17:01generated from,
00:17:02who you really are.
00:17:04Thoughts of reality,
00:17:05not perception.
00:17:07And reality,
00:17:08whether you can believe it or not,
00:17:09knows that there's,
00:17:10a divine being within you.
00:17:12That's what you seek.
00:17:15Living from a place,
00:17:17of authenticity,
00:17:18where you're able to contemplate,
00:17:20reality just as it is,
00:17:23doesn't mean,
00:17:24thinking less.
00:17:25It means thinking,
00:17:26from a different place.
00:17:28Not from the frightened,
00:17:30personality's memory,
00:17:31but from presence.
00:17:33Not from the personality's reaction,
00:17:37but from vision,
00:17:39creative vision,
00:17:40innate in all of us.
00:17:42We move from,
00:17:43five sensory perception,
00:17:45to being able to see,
00:17:47with eyes behind their eyes,
00:17:49to create a vision,
00:17:51with extra sensory perception.
00:17:54And all that is,
00:17:55is understanding the power of intention,
00:17:59imagination,
00:18:00intuition.
00:18:01And we can only access,
00:18:03these parts of ourselves,
00:18:05when we let go,
00:18:06of the desire to control.
00:18:10And we start to,
00:18:11no longer create from form,
00:18:13rather we allow the essence,
00:18:15of who we really are,
00:18:16to express everything to us.
00:18:19We start to think contemplatively.
00:18:21We start to feel deeply.
00:18:23We start to act,
00:18:25rather than react.
00:18:26And the consequences,
00:18:28the mathematical equation,
00:18:30that follows,
00:18:31is peace,
00:18:33bliss,
00:18:34purpose.
00:18:34So you no longer create from form,
00:18:39rather you allow this essence,
00:18:41to express everything through you.
00:18:44The answers we seek,
00:18:45are already there.
00:18:48And at first we can access this through,
00:18:51an occasional state of contemplation,
00:18:53or meditation.
00:18:54But eventually,
00:18:56through practice,
00:18:58we can change,
00:18:59our constant identity.
00:19:01We can truly transform.
00:19:02For centuries,
00:19:06the concept of a higher self,
00:19:08or a divine self,
00:19:09or even some kind of,
00:19:11connection between people,
00:19:12and the universe,
00:19:13has been warped,
00:19:14in various cultural,
00:19:15and theological garments,
00:19:17loaded with symbols,
00:19:20and debated,
00:19:21and essentially the baby,
00:19:23has often been thrown out,
00:19:24with the bath water.
00:19:26It's led us to actually,
00:19:27stop believing,
00:19:29in higher consciousness,
00:19:30in spiritual awakenings.
00:19:32In states,
00:19:33of metacognition,
00:19:35or higher thinking.
00:19:38To speak of the sacred self,
00:19:39is really,
00:19:40to speak of humility,
00:19:43of presence,
00:19:44of non-duality.
00:19:46It is to look at the world,
00:19:48without the personalities,
00:19:50ingrained separations.
00:19:52To think without its judgments,
00:19:54to live without its defensive,
00:19:56and to act without its personal agenda,
00:20:00of defense,
00:20:01defense,
00:20:01defense.
00:20:02And let me tell you,
00:20:04that defense,
00:20:05that the personality creates,
00:20:07is the first,
00:20:08act of war.
00:20:09War on the self,
00:20:11and then a war on the world outside.
00:20:13A war on your environment,
00:20:15where you don't succeed,
00:20:16in your career,
00:20:18in your relationships,
00:20:20in your fulfillment,
00:20:20and finding,
00:20:22adventure,
00:20:23growth,
00:20:24happiness.
00:20:27If we want to get well,
00:20:29heal,
00:20:29grow and transform,
00:20:31we need to stop creating distance,
00:20:33from what is truly,
00:20:34your deepest identity.
00:20:36It's time now,
00:20:38to connect,
00:20:39with the frequency,
00:20:40a pure,
00:20:41silent,
00:20:42and loving vibration,
00:20:43within each of us,
00:20:44that can really set us free.
00:20:47But it's something,
00:20:48that we don't create,
00:20:49with the personality.
00:20:51All you need to do,
00:20:52to connect with it,
00:20:53and access it,
00:20:55is to clear the dominance,
00:20:56of the personality,
00:20:58so that it can take,
00:20:59the throne,
00:20:59of your consciousness.
00:21:01We're all carrying around,
00:21:03a 20 ton shield,
00:21:04to defend ourselves.
00:21:06And eventually,
00:21:07the heaviness of it all,
00:21:09weighs us down.
00:21:11Burnout,
00:21:11depression,
00:21:13addictions,
00:21:15generalized anxiety,
00:21:16that is ripping through,
00:21:1860% of America,
00:21:21at the moment,
00:21:21is bringing people,
00:21:22to their knees,
00:21:24by the billion.
00:21:27When we lose our identity,
00:21:29when we forget,
00:21:30who we really are,
00:21:31we suffer.
00:21:35So we need to restore,
00:21:36a clear vision,
00:21:37that does not judge,
00:21:39but understands,
00:21:41from a deeper level,
00:21:42than the persona.
00:21:43low self-esteem,
00:21:46is commonplace,
00:21:47with all of us today.
00:21:49But we are led,
00:21:50to believe a lie.
00:21:51When we see,
00:21:52through that eye,
00:21:54we look down,
00:21:55on ourselves,
00:21:55berate ourselves,
00:21:57run constant streams,
00:21:59of negative affirmations,
00:22:00against ourselves,
00:22:01and we wonder,
00:22:02why we fall.
00:22:06What we need to do,
00:22:07is never forget,
00:22:08who we really,
00:22:10really are.
00:22:11So this journey,
00:22:13to look within,
00:22:14and find out,
00:22:15who we really are,
00:22:16has become essential.
00:22:20Awakening,
00:22:21is a sacred moment,
00:22:22a moment of clarity,
00:22:24in which the mind opens,
00:22:26the heart expands,
00:22:27and the soul,
00:22:28finally remembers.
00:22:29If only for a second,
00:22:31or so,
00:22:32it gets a glimpse,
00:22:33of what is.
00:22:34It sees what is truly,
00:22:35behind the confines,
00:22:37of these walls,
00:22:38and masks,
00:22:39of the personality.
00:22:41Sometimes it's like,
00:22:42a flash of lightning,
00:22:43that cuts through the darkness,
00:22:44of the personality's,
00:22:46conditioned mind.
00:22:48These conditioned thoughts,
00:22:50can be stripped away,
00:22:51and reveal the face,
00:22:53of who we truly are.
00:22:54But that moment,
00:22:55no matter how beautiful,
00:22:56is not the destination.
00:22:59It's only the door.
00:23:00It's only the beginning.
00:23:04Many have had moments,
00:23:05of awakening,
00:23:06of some sort of healing.
00:23:08But often,
00:23:09they return to the noise,
00:23:11the division,
00:23:12the separate self,
00:23:14the same old struggles,
00:23:15with that personality.
00:23:19Why does this happen?
00:23:21Because awakening,
00:23:22is not yet permanence.
00:23:24It's a journey.
00:23:26The personality,
00:23:26does not fear,
00:23:27an occasional glimpse,
00:23:28of the sacred self,
00:23:30but it trembles,
00:23:31at a consciousness,
00:23:32that stabilizes in it.
00:23:34A contemplative consciousness,
00:23:36that can never go back,
00:23:38to having tantrums,
00:23:39in the shopping mall,
00:23:40to being blind,
00:23:42to being selfish,
00:23:44garrulous,
00:23:44and demanding.
00:23:45Real spiritual awakening,
00:23:47real transformation,
00:23:48means that we need to grow.
00:23:51We can no longer,
00:23:52act out against our enemies,
00:23:54and for sure,
00:23:55we can no longer,
00:23:56act out against ourselves.
00:23:58So this,
00:23:59is the abyss,
00:24:00that we need to cross.
00:24:01The dark night of the soul,
00:24:03from everything,
00:24:05that is false,
00:24:05and unreal,
00:24:06and certain,
00:24:08to everything,
00:24:09that is true,
00:24:11permanent,
00:24:11and good.
00:24:12It's far,
00:24:15far easier,
00:24:16to remain,
00:24:17blind,
00:24:18in the dark.
00:24:21It's far easier,
00:24:22for a person,
00:24:23to think that life,
00:24:24means nothing.
00:24:25That there's no meaning,
00:24:27that there's no work to do,
00:24:28on yourself,
00:24:29or in the world.
00:24:31It's far,
00:24:31far easier,
00:24:32and the brain,
00:24:33loves easy.
00:24:38So how does a paradigm,
00:24:40shift,
00:24:41from inauthenticity,
00:24:42to authenticity happen,
00:24:44from personality,
00:24:46to spirituality,
00:24:47like we're,
00:24:47describing it here.
00:24:50It doesn't happen,
00:24:50as a sudden leap,
00:24:52forced by the personality.
00:24:54Rather,
00:24:54it happens,
00:24:55as a constant,
00:24:55re-education,
00:24:57of the focus,
00:24:57of our attention,
00:24:59away from the personality's,
00:25:00dominance.
00:25:02Every time,
00:25:03you return,
00:25:03to the present moment,
00:25:04without the personality's,
00:25:06history,
00:25:07without the story,
00:25:08of who you think you are,
00:25:10without its judgment,
00:25:12you are cultivating permanence,
00:25:14in the sacred self.
00:25:15You're opening up,
00:25:17who you really are.
00:25:19You're moving beyond,
00:25:20the veil of ignorance,
00:25:22a veil that once,
00:25:23kept us safe.
00:25:26Where our focus goes,
00:25:28our energy flows.
00:25:29That's the path,
00:25:31moving from low energy,
00:25:32to high energy.
00:25:34From the subconscious,
00:25:35to the conscious.
00:25:36from the certain,
00:25:38to the uncertain.
00:25:40You see,
00:25:40every time you choose,
00:25:42to see from,
00:25:43the contemplative mind,
00:25:45even though it may not,
00:25:46feel comfortable,
00:25:48even though,
00:25:49may not,
00:25:50see the immediate benefit,
00:25:52each time we do this,
00:25:53it deepens our anchoring,
00:25:55into who we really are.
00:25:59Until practice,
00:26:00becomes nature,
00:26:02until you no longer,
00:26:03have to remind,
00:26:04the personality,
00:26:05who you are,
00:26:06because there is,
00:26:07no forgetting,
00:26:08by the sacred self.
00:26:10This does not mean,
00:26:11that old thoughts,
00:26:11of the personality,
00:26:12won't arise,
00:26:13and that you won't be triggered,
00:26:14to judge,
00:26:16to control,
00:26:17to be a perfectionist,
00:26:18to play the victim.
00:26:20These things,
00:26:21will always arise,
00:26:23but through practice,
00:26:24through process,
00:26:26they will no longer,
00:26:27have the same roots,
00:26:28of power,
00:26:29within you.
00:26:30Rather,
00:26:31triggers will come,
00:26:32as echoes,
00:26:33and you,
00:26:34acting from your authentic self,
00:26:36will see them pass,
00:26:37like clouds in the sky,
00:26:39that can no longer,
00:26:40be covered.
00:26:42You see,
00:26:42if we look at,
00:26:43the wise teachers,
00:26:44in the east,
00:26:44they will tell us,
00:26:45our problem is,
00:26:46that we don't let go,
00:26:47of desire,
00:26:48that we cling.
00:26:50It's this,
00:26:51addicted mind,
00:26:53that will not,
00:26:53let go of control,
00:26:54that keeps us rooted,
00:26:56in personality,
00:26:57that can be disordered,
00:26:59stuck,
00:26:59and lost.
00:27:04So to remain,
00:27:05in the sacred self,
00:27:06is not to isolate,
00:27:07your personality.
00:27:08It is to be fully,
00:27:09in the world,
00:27:10without the personality,
00:27:11being confused by it.
00:27:13It is to wash the dishes,
00:27:14from eternity.
00:27:16It is to walk,
00:27:17from peace.
00:27:19It is to speak,
00:27:19without the personality's,
00:27:21expectation.
00:27:23Expectations,
00:27:24are always,
00:27:24on their way,
00:27:25to becoming resentments.
00:27:28And Rumi said,
00:27:28there is a field,
00:27:29out beyond right and wrongdoing,
00:27:31I'll meet you there.
00:27:33That's the mind,
00:27:34that we're talking about here.
00:27:37The paradigm process,
00:27:39is not,
00:27:40a mystical moment,
00:27:41or a burning bush always.
00:27:43It's what's cultivated,
00:27:45in the day to day,
00:27:46in the everyday,
00:27:48in the invisible,
00:27:49and in the subtle choices,
00:27:51that we make,
00:27:52to not operate,
00:27:53from a codependent,
00:27:55perfectionist,
00:27:56judging,
00:27:57and controlling personality.
00:27:58Every time,
00:28:00our frightened personality,
00:28:02gets touched,
00:28:03we can choose,
00:28:04not to follow,
00:28:05the actions,
00:28:06that it wants us to take.
00:28:07To close up,
00:28:08to defend,
00:28:10over defend really.
00:28:12To cut people off,
00:28:13and in turn,
00:28:15for us to fight,
00:28:16freeze,
00:28:17or fee.
00:28:17Every time,
00:28:21you choose presence,
00:28:22over the personality's reaction,
00:28:24truth,
00:28:25over the personality's drama,
00:28:27distrust,
00:28:28and fear.
00:28:29When we choose,
00:28:30peace,
00:28:31over the personality's,
00:28:32constant arguments,
00:28:34belittling,
00:28:36you have remained,
00:28:37in the sacred self.
00:28:38And at that moment,
00:28:39that specific,
00:28:42beautiful moment,
00:28:43that moment,
00:28:44of the flowering,
00:28:45of your consciousness,
00:28:46is where you take,
00:28:47your rightful place,
00:28:48as commander in chief,
00:28:50of your body,
00:28:51your heart,
00:28:52and your mind.
00:28:53No longer,
00:28:55is the master,
00:28:55the servant.
00:28:57You start to wake up,
00:28:58to who you really are,
00:28:59and dormant faculties,
00:29:00and talents,
00:29:01start to come alive.
00:29:02And you can do amazing,
00:29:04great,
00:29:04and wonderful things,
00:29:05because,
00:29:06the power to create,
00:29:08comes back to you.
00:29:09That's the power,
00:29:10of the prefrontal cortex.
00:29:13The personality,
00:29:14is trapped,
00:29:15in survival mind.
00:29:16Pretty much,
00:29:17like the animals,
00:29:18on this planet.
00:29:19But we're not animals,
00:29:20on this planet.
00:29:21We're different,
00:29:23and we're divine beings.
00:29:24So,
00:29:25at some point,
00:29:26we need to move past,
00:29:27a personality,
00:29:28that starts to obstruct us.
00:29:31We must leave,
00:29:32the unconscious embrace,
00:29:33that it gives us.
00:29:34that ignorance.
00:29:36And we must move,
00:29:38towards,
00:29:39a part of the brain,
00:29:40part of who we are,
00:29:41that can create miracles,
00:29:43change,
00:29:44and I mean change,
00:29:46on a universal level.
00:29:47We are all capable,
00:29:49of changing ourselves,
00:29:51each other,
00:29:52and the world.
00:29:53We just don't know it.
00:29:58Now remember,
00:29:59as Christ said,
00:30:00whoever wants to save their life,
00:30:02will lose it.
00:30:02But whoever loses their life,
00:30:05for me,
00:30:06will find it,
00:30:08eternal life.
00:30:09So,
00:30:10whoever wants to save their life,
00:30:11or their,
00:30:12personality-based identity,
00:30:14will lose it.
00:30:16That's the suffering,
00:30:18the depression.
00:30:19But whoever loses their life,
00:30:21or their attachment,
00:30:22to their personality-based identity,
00:30:24for the sake of their sacred self,
00:30:25will find,
00:30:27true life.
00:30:27There are few teachings,
00:30:31more radical,
00:30:32more challenging,
00:30:33and more necessary,
00:30:34on the journey to sacred self,
00:30:36than this one.
00:30:37Most people,
00:30:38want to improve their lives,
00:30:39their personalities,
00:30:40but not fundamentally,
00:30:42transform their identity.
00:30:44They want to be a little bit happy,
00:30:46a little bit kind.
00:30:48They seek peace,
00:30:49without abandoning,
00:30:50the personality's struggle.
00:30:52Truth,
00:30:53without surrendering,
00:30:54the personality's,
00:30:55long-cherished ideas.
00:30:57Light,
00:30:58without letting go,
00:30:59of the personality's,
00:31:00familiar darkness.
00:31:01The certainty,
00:31:03of just getting angry,
00:31:04in an instant,
00:31:06of being selfish,
00:31:07of being unkind.
00:31:09It's easier.
00:31:12But,
00:31:12of course,
00:31:13there is a narrow gate,
00:31:14through which we,
00:31:15all must pass.
00:31:17This is the journey.
00:31:18This is our life's purpose.
00:31:20At that gate,
00:31:22is the dissolution,
00:31:23of the exclusive identification,
00:31:25with this personality.
00:31:27When we choose,
00:31:28something better,
00:31:30something more.
00:31:31We start to see,
00:31:33through our imagination,
00:31:35an image,
00:31:35shaped by the world,
00:31:37a life of possibilities.
00:31:39A life where we,
00:31:40really are unlimited,
00:31:42because that's what we are.
00:31:44So we let go,
00:31:45of an image,
00:31:45shaped by the world,
00:31:47reinforced by personal history.
00:31:49Fed by comparison,
00:31:51judgment,
00:31:52and protected by the memory of pain.
00:31:54At some point,
00:31:55we need to move past that.
00:31:57There's no medication,
00:31:59in the world,
00:32:00no psychiatrist,
00:32:01psychologist,
00:32:02or therapist,
00:32:03that is going to help you,
00:32:04do this inner work.
00:32:06There's nothing in your environment,
00:32:08that can help you.
00:32:09And in the same way,
00:32:11your environment,
00:32:12doesn't control you.
00:32:14You control your environment,
00:32:16from within.
00:32:17Remember your personality,
00:32:19becomes your personal reality.
00:32:23I often say,
00:32:24who are you without your story?
00:32:26Because,
00:32:27it's something we don't think of.
00:32:29Who you are,
00:32:30when you are defined,
00:32:31by your personality's name,
00:32:33your identity,
00:32:34its story,
00:32:36its body,
00:32:36fat or thin,
00:32:37tall or short,
00:32:38its occupation,
00:32:41wealthy,
00:32:41not wealthy.
00:32:42When we define ourselves,
00:32:44by our traumas and wounds,
00:32:45or,
00:32:46even by our accomplishments.
00:32:48When we think like this,
00:32:49we can't find any real,
00:32:50real lasting peace.
00:32:53So,
00:32:53who remains,
00:32:54when we,
00:32:55take all the titles,
00:32:56and labels,
00:32:57and memories away,
00:32:58that your personality,
00:32:59believes,
00:33:00you actually are?
00:33:01The brain thinks,
00:33:03that nothing will remain,
00:33:04but,
00:33:04that's a lie.
00:33:06What remains,
00:33:07is the divine,
00:33:08living in you.
00:33:10The divine,
00:33:11that is in all of us.
00:33:12The divine nature,
00:33:13that God gave us all.
00:33:15And that is what we're calling,
00:33:16the sacred self here.
00:33:20The illusory personality,
00:33:21is noisy.
00:33:23It speaks a lot.
00:33:24It's always defending,
00:33:25its position,
00:33:26justifying its actions,
00:33:28seeking validation.
00:33:30It has a constant hunger,
00:33:32for recognition.
00:33:34It lives comparing itself,
00:33:36always in comparison,
00:33:38feeling superior,
00:33:39or inferior,
00:33:40but never at peace,
00:33:42because its foundation,
00:33:43is not love.
00:33:44It is fear.
00:33:46Now we're getting,
00:33:47to something real,
00:33:48something big.
00:33:50Fear can only fabricate,
00:33:52a limited,
00:33:52personal identity.
00:33:54It cannot remember,
00:33:55the truth,
00:33:56of who you really are,
00:33:58who you're really becoming,
00:33:59what this life is all about.
00:34:01I mean,
00:34:02this is why people commit suicide.
00:34:04They think that the brain,
00:34:05and the body,
00:34:06and the heart have to go.
00:34:08No,
00:34:09only the thinking,
00:34:10has to go.
00:34:14The thinking,
00:34:15that you're a fixed identity,
00:34:16really creates such chaos,
00:34:18in people,
00:34:18because it's changing,
00:34:19always.
00:34:20It's unstable.
00:34:21It's contradictory.
00:34:23It's fragile.
00:34:24It needs to construct,
00:34:25and reconstruct its image,
00:34:27to feel secure.
00:34:29And that security,
00:34:30that that personality,
00:34:32once gave you that worked,
00:34:34just doesn't get you there.
00:34:37The soul knows,
00:34:38that such security,
00:34:39is temporary.
00:34:40It's false.
00:34:41I mean,
00:34:42do we really have security,
00:34:43in this world?
00:34:45Not really.
00:34:45We all know,
00:34:46where the physical,
00:34:48is going to end,
00:34:49and where the spiritual,
00:34:50will begin.
00:34:51And as long as you identify,
00:34:53exclusively,
00:34:53with that version of yourself,
00:34:55this personality,
00:34:56or the lower version,
00:34:57of yourself,
00:34:58the container,
00:35:00that you needed,
00:35:02to build who you really are.
00:35:04As long as you identify,
00:35:05with that,
00:35:05you will keep,
00:35:06walking in circles.
00:35:08The feeling,
00:35:09of walking in those circles,
00:35:11is powerlessness.
00:35:12And as I've seen,
00:35:13working with people,
00:35:14for almost a quarter,
00:35:16of a century now,
00:35:17there's no worse feeling,
00:35:18than powerlessness.
00:35:20It really is like,
00:35:21a feeling,
00:35:22that I can't do anything,
00:35:23about this.
00:35:25A feeling,
00:35:25that can drive you,
00:35:26to insanity.
00:35:27But that sense,
00:35:28of powerlessness,
00:35:30is trying to get us,
00:35:31to cross the dark night,
00:35:32of the soul.
00:35:34It's trying to get us,
00:35:35to cross over the bridge,
00:35:36and create a paradigm shift,
00:35:38from false identity,
00:35:40to true identity.
00:35:41So the personality,
00:35:43is not your enemy.
00:35:45It is a mechanism.
00:35:46A temporary structure,
00:35:47of thoughts,
00:35:48and behavior patterns,
00:35:49formed once,
00:35:51to give you a sense,
00:35:52of continuity,
00:35:54in the world.
00:35:55But there comes a moment,
00:35:57for all of us,
00:35:57when it's dominance,
00:35:58no longer serves.
00:36:00And when it is,
00:36:02no longer the vehicle,
00:36:03for growth,
00:36:03but a limitation.
00:36:06If it's grip is loosened,
00:36:08we start to come free.
00:36:11The consciousness,
00:36:13of the sacred self,
00:36:14cannot flourish,
00:36:14in a soul,
00:36:16identified solely,
00:36:17with personality,
00:36:18with masks.
00:36:20That is why,
00:36:21the spiritual path,
00:36:22that so many people,
00:36:23talk about,
00:36:24is not about,
00:36:24improving the personality,
00:36:26indefinitely.
00:36:28No.
00:36:29It is about,
00:36:30being born again.
00:36:32It is about,
00:36:33awakening.
00:36:35It is about,
00:36:36a paradigm shift,
00:36:37or total transformation.
00:36:39It is the end,
00:36:40of the personality,
00:36:41actually,
00:36:42as the center,
00:36:43of our existence.
00:36:44But in turn,
00:36:45it is the birth of being.
00:36:47The birth of truth,
00:36:49and the birth,
00:36:50of an emerging,
00:36:51self,
00:36:52that is yearning,
00:36:53always has been yearning,
00:36:54to be free,
00:36:56to be one,
00:36:57to fit in,
00:36:59which we all do.
00:37:00the personality,
00:37:03doesn't fit in.
00:37:05Fear fits nowhere,
00:37:06for very long.
00:37:08It is love,
00:37:09that endures,
00:37:10and love,
00:37:10that's,
00:37:11finally,
00:37:12going to set us all free.
00:37:13So,
00:37:13how is the exclusive,
00:37:14identification,
00:37:15with the personality,
00:37:16dissolved?
00:37:18First,
00:37:18with awareness,
00:37:19with recognition.
00:37:21You cannot undo,
00:37:22what you have not,
00:37:23yet seen.
00:37:24You need to observe,
00:37:25your personality,
00:37:26without judgment.
00:37:29In stillness,
00:37:30meditation,
00:37:31contemplative practices,
00:37:32help us get there.
00:37:34And,
00:37:35in those moments,
00:37:36we need to recognize,
00:37:37when you speak,
00:37:38from that character,
00:37:39from that actor,
00:37:40from that people pleaser.
00:37:43Recognize that character,
00:37:45and then decide,
00:37:46on what you need,
00:37:47to let go.
00:37:49No longer,
00:37:50do you need to defend.
00:37:51There's no,
00:37:52saber tooth tiger,
00:37:53in the grass,
00:37:54trying to get you,
00:37:55all the time.
00:37:56That'll drive us insane.
00:37:58By observing,
00:37:59without condemning,
00:38:01by stopping,
00:38:02those judgments,
00:38:02that we make,
00:38:03all day long,
00:38:04the personality,
00:38:05begins to finally,
00:38:06lose its power.
00:38:08Because,
00:38:09it feeds on,
00:38:10unconscious reaction,
00:38:12and cannot survive,
00:38:14unchallenged,
00:38:14in the light of consciousness.
00:38:16So,
00:38:17we're moving from,
00:38:18contracted consciousness,
00:38:20to expanded consciousness,
00:38:21to pure consciousness.
00:38:23We also get rid of it,
00:38:26loosen its tight grip,
00:38:27with surrender.
00:38:29You cannot hold on,
00:38:30to your idea of yourself,
00:38:31as only a personality,
00:38:33and simultaneously,
00:38:35hold on to the light,
00:38:36of your soul,
00:38:38your true self.
00:38:41Sooner or later,
00:38:42the personality's dominance,
00:38:43must give way.
00:38:45And surrender,
00:38:45is not defeat,
00:38:46for the true self.
00:38:48It's liberation.
00:38:48We are not broken down,
00:38:52when we work on ourselves,
00:38:54when we go within,
00:38:56when we do the work,
00:38:57of psychotherapy,
00:38:59the work,
00:39:00of self-examination.
00:39:01We don't break down,
00:39:03we break open.
00:39:09So,
00:39:10sooner or later,
00:39:11we can start to observe,
00:39:13the story,
00:39:14of who we thought,
00:39:14we really were,
00:39:15as an old reflection.
00:39:17A reflection,
00:39:18in a mirror,
00:39:19we no longer really need,
00:39:20or really embody.
00:39:22We stop repressing things,
00:39:24we stop denying things,
00:39:26we stop denying,
00:39:27especially the existence,
00:39:29of who we really are.
00:39:31In fact,
00:39:32we can say to the personality,
00:39:34thank you for what you were,
00:39:35but now the sacred self,
00:39:37arises in me,
00:39:39and it is my primary identity.
00:39:41It is who I really am.
00:39:44The only way,
00:39:45not to return,
00:39:46to the illusory dominance,
00:39:47of the personality,
00:39:48is to live fully,
00:39:50in the aura,
00:39:50of the sacred self,
00:39:52in the now,
00:39:53in presence.
00:39:55The character,
00:39:56of the personality,
00:39:57the actor,
00:39:58primarily exists,
00:39:59in psychological time,
00:40:01in the past,
00:40:02which it repeats,
00:40:03like a bad habit.
00:40:07But in the now,
00:40:08there is no fixed character,
00:40:10there is only being,
00:40:12only truth,
00:40:13only the sacred self.
00:40:16So making this kind of thinking,
00:40:18a living practice,
00:40:19is our work.
00:40:21Upon awakening in the mornings,
00:40:22do not immediately resume,
00:40:24your personality story.
00:40:27We brush our teeth,
00:40:28in the same way,
00:40:28we get out of bed,
00:40:29on the same side,
00:40:30we shower in the same way,
00:40:32we eat the same foods,
00:40:34and we eventually,
00:40:34become a program.
00:40:37So what we can do,
00:40:38before speaking,
00:40:39is ask ourselves,
00:40:40who is speaking,
00:40:42the personality,
00:40:44or the sacred self,
00:40:45and we get to choose,
00:40:47with our new awareness.
00:40:49From where am I deciding,
00:40:51this or that?
00:40:53From the personality's image,
00:40:55or from the self,
00:40:56that is sacred?
00:40:57I always ask,
00:41:00DT and MS,
00:41:02before making any decisions,
00:41:04you know,
00:41:04does this nourish my soul?
00:41:06DT and MS.
00:41:08And with these little works,
00:41:10little by little,
00:41:11what once dominated you,
00:41:12will no longer have,
00:41:13absolute power,
00:41:15making you powerless.
00:41:16The personality,
00:41:19will become an instrument,
00:41:20not a master.
00:41:22That's how we integrate it,
00:41:23and dissolve it.
00:41:24That's how we transcend,
00:41:26and include the personality,
00:41:28into our new,
00:41:29emerging selves.
00:41:32The sacred self,
00:41:33really is your only real identity.
00:41:36It will become,
00:41:37our way of seeing,
00:41:38our way of truly seeing,
00:41:40our way of thinking,
00:41:42and of course,
00:41:42a way of living,
00:41:44which is freedom.
00:41:46We go from,
00:41:48the personality,
00:41:49doing whatever it wants,
00:41:51which is easier of course,
00:41:52to being you,
00:41:54to being who you truly are.
00:41:56And that freedom,
00:41:57is freedom,
00:41:58from disorder,
00:41:59from disease,
00:42:00from depression.
00:42:03This is the revealed mystery.
00:42:05Lose your exclusive attachment,
00:42:07to the life of the personality,
00:42:09and you will find,
00:42:10your true life,
00:42:11in the sacred self.
00:42:13Lose your story.
00:42:15Always ask,
00:42:16who am I,
00:42:17without the story I'm believing.
00:42:19The brain loves that play.
00:42:22Lose your identification,
00:42:23with the character,
00:42:24with the actor,
00:42:26and you will discover,
00:42:27that your true being,
00:42:29never ever left.
00:42:31It was always waiting,
00:42:32for the right time,
00:42:33for you to release,
00:42:35the disguise,
00:42:36the mask,
00:42:37so it could embrace you,
00:42:39as light.
00:42:39This is what,
00:42:40Christ meant,
00:42:41when he said,
00:42:42heaven and earth,
00:42:43or the transient,
00:42:44and material,
00:42:45will pass away.
00:42:46But my words,
00:42:48eternal truth,
00:42:49will never pass away.
00:42:50There is an infallible measure,
00:42:55that allows,
00:42:55every soul,
00:42:57every one of us,
00:42:58journeying from personality,
00:42:59to spirituality,
00:43:00to discern between,
00:43:01what is true,
00:43:02and what is false,
00:43:04between what should be held,
00:43:05by the sacred self,
00:43:06and what we should let go.
00:43:08It is a silent rule,
00:43:10a compass,
00:43:11of light,
00:43:11for the spiritual traveler.
00:43:13Everything,
00:43:14that is not eternal,
00:43:16is illusion.
00:43:16That's why we can't stay,
00:43:20successfully addicted.
00:43:21That's why we can't stay,
00:43:23successfully avoidant.
00:43:25Everything that is illusion,
00:43:27no matter how brilliant it seems,
00:43:29to the personality,
00:43:30no matter how strong it feels,
00:43:33no matter how necessary it feels,
00:43:35it has no real substance,
00:43:37in the ultimate sense.
00:43:39The soul that desires,
00:43:40to live from the consciousness,
00:43:41of sacred self,
00:43:43not as a fleeting experience,
00:43:45but as a permanent,
00:43:47installation of truth,
00:43:48must sharpen,
00:43:50its spiritual discernment.
00:43:52That's our work,
00:43:53that's our purpose.
00:43:54Not for us to judge the world,
00:43:57and of course we judge it as bad,
00:43:58through our fear.
00:44:00When we stop judging ourselves,
00:44:01as less than,
00:44:03as insignificant,
00:44:04we start to see the world differently.
00:44:07When we change the things we look at,
00:44:09the things we look at,
00:44:10change,
00:44:11and we start to effortlessly recognize,
00:44:13what is eternal,
00:44:15what is valuable,
00:44:18including the parts of ourselves,
00:44:20and we don't confuse it with appearances,
00:44:22of the transient,
00:44:23of the material,
00:44:25like we did as kids.
00:44:27The personality always mistakes,
00:44:30the easily observable,
00:44:32for reality.
00:44:33But these things aren't eternal,
00:44:35they don't last.
00:44:37What is real,
00:44:38does not deteriorate,
00:44:40does not change with the seasons,
00:44:42of the personality's moods,
00:44:44and doesn't contradict itself.
00:44:47What is real,
00:44:47does not need to defend,
00:44:49which is the nature of the personality.
00:44:51It doesn't demand,
00:44:53impose,
00:44:54shout.
00:44:54It remains.
00:44:56It is balanced,
00:44:57and it finds peace.
00:44:59Peace beyond our understanding.
00:45:02Illusion always leads to fatigue,
00:45:04to dis-ease,
00:45:07to attachment,
00:45:08and suffering.
00:45:10Because the soul,
00:45:11identified with the personality,
00:45:13in the beginning,
00:45:14has confused it with what is real,
00:45:16and has placed its faith,
00:45:18and belief,
00:45:20thoughts that we think over and over again,
00:45:21are our beliefs,
00:45:23in what cannot ultimately sustain it.
00:45:25Only the truth sustains us.
00:45:28Only the truth sets us free.
00:45:30So when we start running the show again,
00:45:36we allow the personality,
00:45:38which will always be there of course,
00:45:40to serve us,
00:45:41to function more harmoniously with us.
00:45:44We second guess it at every turn.
00:45:46That's never going to change,
00:45:47but through practice,
00:45:49it'll get better and better.
00:45:50But we will look,
00:45:52and think twice.
00:45:53We will use our contemplative mind,
00:45:55and see from the sacred self,
00:45:58rather than the eyes of judgment.
00:46:00So what is it to actually see,
00:46:03from the authentic self,
00:46:05these eyes behind the eyes,
00:46:07and to hear with the ears behind the ears,
00:46:10that we speak about?
00:46:11It's to see with the eyes,
00:46:13of your deepest being.
00:46:15Simple.
00:46:16It is to see beyond,
00:46:18mere form.
00:46:20Beyond,
00:46:21your behavior.
00:46:23Beyond what you've done.
00:46:26Beyond the emotion,
00:46:27that each moment generates.
00:46:28It is to see from the place,
00:46:30where all is complete,
00:46:33where you see the bigger picture,
00:46:35where you see that,
00:46:37you know,
00:46:37it's a million piece puzzle,
00:46:39not a 500 piece puzzle,
00:46:41that you once thought it was.
00:46:42people who see from this perspective,
00:46:48heal.
00:46:49Not with any technique really,
00:46:51but with presence.
00:46:53How do you explain that to people?
00:46:55To the millions,
00:46:56waiting in queues,
00:46:58to get into clinics,
00:47:00that are going to explain,
00:47:02none of this to them.
00:47:04They are going to give,
00:47:05elixirs,
00:47:06medications from the outside.
00:47:08Not saying that's bad,
00:47:09I'm just saying that's not enough.
00:47:13At some point,
00:47:14we need to wake up.
00:47:16Life wins,
00:47:17and life is expecting us to,
00:47:20wake up.
00:47:24There is a,
00:47:25dying to self,
00:47:27dying to personality,
00:47:28that needs to be done.
00:47:30And,
00:47:30there's a,
00:47:31higher alignment,
00:47:32that needs to happen.
00:47:34To reach this point,
00:47:35the soul must,
00:47:36willingly,
00:47:38be ready for,
00:47:39a letting go,
00:47:40of who we are,
00:47:42or who we thought we were.
00:47:44The story,
00:47:45of the wounded,
00:47:46personality,
00:47:47has to go.
00:47:50Now that's forgiveness,
00:47:52for giving back.
00:47:54The personality,
00:47:55that felt ignored,
00:47:56betrayed,
00:47:56repressed,
00:47:57and misunderstood,
00:47:58can't run the show forever.
00:48:01It's part of life though,
00:48:03and it's something,
00:48:03we need to accept.
00:48:05So the story,
00:48:06served us for a time.
00:48:08It was a shield,
00:48:09and an explanation,
00:48:11for the suffering,
00:48:11in the world.
00:48:12But the moment comes,
00:48:14always.
00:48:16That moment comes,
00:48:17where,
00:48:17the sacred,
00:48:18starts running the show.
00:48:22When you stop,
00:48:23interpreting from,
00:48:24the stories,
00:48:25you stop,
00:48:26interpreting from,
00:48:27the personality's wounds.
00:48:29You become a clean,
00:48:30and clear channel.
00:48:32You no longer,
00:48:33project your personality,
00:48:35and your shadow,
00:48:35onto other people.
00:48:38You no longer,
00:48:39speak from raw emotion.
00:48:42You're no longer,
00:48:42reactive.
00:48:44You don't need,
00:48:45to protect that image,
00:48:47that you thought,
00:48:47was so important,
00:48:48to yourself.
00:48:49Because in seeing,
00:48:50you understand,
00:48:51and in understanding,
00:48:53you're free.
00:48:53You don't need,
00:48:57it's not that,
00:48:57it's not that,
00:48:57the personality is cold.
00:48:59It's just,
00:49:01that the compassion,
00:49:02from the sacred self,
00:49:04is so much stronger.
00:49:06Love,
00:49:07so much stronger,
00:49:07than fear.
00:49:08So,
00:49:08we're being pulled,
00:49:10out of fear,
00:49:11protection,
00:49:12stories of an unsafe world,
00:49:14into love,
00:49:15beauty,
00:49:17kindness.
00:49:17We're moving from coldness,
00:49:20to boldness.
00:49:22And when we do that,
00:49:24we sort of become,
00:49:25non-reactionary,
00:49:27to the foolish things in life,
00:49:28to the silly things.
00:49:31That whole,
00:49:32story,
00:49:33that personality,
00:49:34drama,
00:49:36no longer vibrates,
00:49:37at the frequency,
00:49:37of who you really are.
00:49:40To see the absolute,
00:49:42is to live,
00:49:43from presence,
00:49:44from the eternal now.
00:49:46Not from,
00:49:47these stories,
00:49:48of the personality's fears.
00:49:50What the body,
00:49:51conditioned by the personality,
00:49:52feels.
00:49:53But from the presence,
00:49:54of the sacred self,
00:49:55that remains.
00:49:57From that part of you,
00:49:58that does not age,
00:49:59does not fragment,
00:50:01does not need,
00:50:01to prove anything.
00:50:03And from there,
00:50:05everything becomes clear.
00:50:07Not because things,
00:50:08change on the outside.
00:50:09But because you,
00:50:11no longer see them,
00:50:12these things on the outside.
00:50:14As you did before,
00:50:15fall,
00:50:16you have stepped out,
00:50:17of the personality,
00:50:18cycle of interpretation,
00:50:20and entered the flow,
00:50:21of pure vision,
00:50:23of expanded,
00:50:24and pure consciousness.
00:50:26The vision,
00:50:26of your sacred self,
00:50:27that does not,
00:50:29seek mere reasons,
00:50:30but truth.
00:50:31This is living,
00:50:32with the eyes,
00:50:33of the spirit,
00:50:34the soul,
00:50:34the sacred self.
00:50:35Whatever you want,
00:50:36to call it.
00:50:39So make this,
00:50:40your practice.
00:50:41You do not need,
00:50:41to change the world,
00:50:42through the efforts,
00:50:44of your personality.
00:50:46Through force,
00:50:47you only need,
00:50:48to change the standpoint,
00:50:49from which,
00:50:50you see it.
00:50:52And by doing this,
00:50:53you are no longer,
00:50:54a reactive personality.
00:50:55You are no longer,
00:50:58the personality,
00:50:59that repeats,
00:51:00the conditioning,
00:51:01the habits,
00:51:03we need to break,
00:51:04the habits,
00:51:04of being ourselves.
00:51:05We need to create,
00:51:06a new vision.
00:51:08And that vision,
00:51:08I often relate to,
00:51:10being in a skyscraper,
00:51:11a hundred floor skyscraper.
00:51:13And we move,
00:51:14from a dark basement,
00:51:16up through each level.
00:51:18And each time,
00:51:19we move up,
00:51:20in our skyscraper,
00:51:22which is a metaphor,
00:51:23for who we really are.
00:51:25We become more,
00:51:26and more conscious.
00:51:27We get a vision,
00:51:28we get to see,
00:51:29outside of the windows,
00:51:31way up high.
00:51:32We get to see,
00:51:33where we are,
00:51:35where the rivers are,
00:51:36where other buildings are.
00:51:38We get to see,
00:51:39reality as it is.
00:51:40And as we go up,
00:51:41and up,
00:51:42it becomes quieter.
00:51:43It becomes more peaceful.
00:51:46And you can do yourself,
00:51:47justice to get a vision,
00:51:48of this every day.
00:51:50And the shadows,
00:51:51we experience,
00:51:52in that basement,
00:51:53aren't evil,
00:51:54bad.
00:51:55It's,
00:51:55simply accumulated,
00:51:57unconsciousness,
00:51:59within the personality.
00:52:01It's all a part,
00:52:02of the mind,
00:52:03a story,
00:52:04that has not been,
00:52:05illuminated,
00:52:06by the truth.
00:52:07The inner corner,
00:52:08where there are still,
00:52:10unrecognized memories,
00:52:12inherited beliefs,
00:52:13that are not true,
00:52:14repressed emotions,
00:52:16false ideas about God,
00:52:18about the self,
00:52:19about other people,
00:52:20or the world.
00:52:21All of that,
00:52:22though hidden,
00:52:23influences,
00:52:24everything we do.
00:52:26We project,
00:52:27and create,
00:52:28through the personality,
00:52:29in the beginning,
00:52:30because,
00:52:31we didn't recognize,
00:52:33things as they truly were.
00:52:34So this flowering,
00:52:37of consciousness,
00:52:38this journey,
00:52:39that we're all on,
00:52:40is how we heal,
00:52:42everything that stands,
00:52:43in the way,
00:52:44of living,
00:52:46a joyful,
00:52:46life,
00:52:47of contribution.
00:52:49Everyone,
00:52:50can heal their life,
00:52:51no matter who they are.
00:52:53And the work,
00:52:54is not done,
00:52:55by changing,
00:52:56the external environment.
00:52:58That is the trap.
00:53:00That is what all,
00:53:01the prophets,
00:53:02mystics,
00:53:03and masters,
00:53:03have taught us.
00:53:04The answers,
00:53:05really,
00:53:06really are within.
00:53:08Our brain,
00:53:09has not developed enough,
00:53:10to let us understand,
00:53:12this,
00:53:12divine,
00:53:13or sacred self.
00:53:15It's more frightened,
00:53:16than it's ever been.
00:53:17Yet,
00:53:18that saber-toothed tiger,
00:53:19is just not really there.
00:53:21The dragons,
00:53:22that chase us,
00:53:22are just an illusion.
00:53:24That fearful mind,
00:53:26can ruin your life.
00:53:28It can destroy,
00:53:29dreams,
00:53:31hopes.
00:53:32It can destroy your future,
00:53:34and your present,
00:53:35of course.
00:53:36So,
00:53:37the veil of fear,
00:53:39needs to give way,
00:53:41to the truth,
00:53:42of love,
00:53:43courage,
00:53:45connection,
00:53:46gratitude,
00:53:47resilience,
00:53:48all of these things.
00:53:50Those things,
00:53:51are within you.
00:53:51You're not going to find them,
00:53:53in any office,
00:53:55doctor's office,
00:53:56or therapist's office.
00:53:57You're going to find them,
00:53:58within.
00:54:00So we don't say,
00:54:01don't go to the doctor's office.
00:54:02Of course you do.
00:54:04Go for therapy.
00:54:06Take your medication.
00:54:07Do everything you need to do.
00:54:09But above all,
00:54:11you need to set yourself free.
00:54:13You need to realize,
00:54:14what is really going on.
00:54:17The world of the personality,
00:54:19is not your ultimate world.
00:54:20It's just as Carl Jung said,
00:54:23the first half of life.
00:54:27So guard the focus,
00:54:28of your sacred self,
00:54:29as you're learning about it now.
00:54:32Your attention,
00:54:33determines your frequency.
00:54:35Where focus goes,
00:54:36energy flows.
00:54:38You go from the basement,
00:54:39to the top of the tower,
00:54:40when you focus your energy.
00:54:42Not where your personality,
00:54:44has been directing it.
00:54:45That's the slave.
00:54:47So we must master ourselves.
00:54:51If the frightened personality,
00:54:53thinks from conflict,
00:54:55it vibrates with it.
00:54:56It really feels it,
00:54:58and creates guilt,
00:54:59shame,
00:55:01betrayal,
00:55:02judgment.
00:55:03If it decides from fear,
00:55:05it perpetuates all of this,
00:55:07again,
00:55:08and again,
00:55:08and again.
00:55:09So never,
00:55:13ever forget,
00:55:14who you really are.
00:55:17It's all about,
00:55:18mistaken identity.
00:55:20It's all about,
00:55:21the snake,
00:55:22in the Garden of Eden,
00:55:23making us forget,
00:55:25who we really are.
00:55:26In actual fact,
00:55:27you are the light,
00:55:28that observes,
00:55:29the world around you,
00:55:30your environment.
00:55:32Without attachment,
00:55:33you're completely free,
00:55:36you're unbounded,
00:55:37and unlimited.
00:55:39Your consciousness,
00:55:40can take you anywhere.
00:55:42It really,
00:55:42really can.
00:55:44From close to open,
00:55:45from fear to love,
00:55:47from hell,
00:55:48to heaven.
00:55:54Practice contemplative intelligence,
00:55:56daily.
00:55:58Don't go with your first thought,
00:56:00but think.
00:56:01Be still,
00:56:02and know that I am God.
00:56:04All of these things,
00:56:05are living practice,
00:56:07spiritual maturity.
00:56:09So we practice,
00:56:10neutrality.
00:56:11We practice,
00:56:13not reacting.
00:56:15And we do this all,
00:56:16from the consciousness,
00:56:17of our sacred selves,
00:56:19not our personalities.
00:56:22The love of the sacred self,
00:56:24of who we really are,
00:56:25is total.
00:56:27It does not adapt,
00:56:28to the personalities forms.
00:56:29It transcends them.
00:56:32That means,
00:56:32it goes above,
00:56:34form.
00:56:37Never do we need to ask,
00:56:38which personality trait,
00:56:39we have is right.
00:56:41Our judgments,
00:56:42are needful,
00:56:43being a victim,
00:56:44or a perfectionist.
00:56:46No.
00:56:47We always respond to life,
00:56:49with the same vibration,
00:56:50that life has.
00:56:52That means,
00:56:52there's no conflict.
00:56:53So we learn,
00:56:55to breathe,
00:56:56underwater.
00:56:57We learn to breathe,
00:56:58from the being,
00:56:59of our divinity.
00:57:01Your breath,
00:57:02reveals,
00:57:03your vibration.
00:57:04Think of,
00:57:06someone who is anxious,
00:57:07and breathing,
00:57:08and fearful.
00:57:09And think of someone,
00:57:10who is peaceful,
00:57:11and loving,
00:57:11who is breathing.
00:57:14The scented mind,
00:57:15of the sacred self,
00:57:16breathes deeply,
00:57:18and clearly.
00:57:19Not as a forced technique.
00:57:21We don't force anything.
00:57:22We just align.
00:57:25It's almost natural,
00:57:27at a point.
00:57:28So do the work.
00:57:30Practice,
00:57:31contemplative intelligence.
00:57:33And you don't even need,
00:57:34words at a point.
00:57:36Only attention.
00:57:38Focus.
00:57:39Awareness.
00:57:41Presence.
00:57:44From today,
00:57:46do not let the personality,
00:57:47negotiate with its old patterns.
00:57:49When the frequency drops,
00:57:51the personality speaks louder.
00:57:53It tells you that you are not progressing,
00:57:56that this journey to the sacred self doesn't work,
00:57:58that you should return to your old patterns.
00:58:01And it gets loud.
00:58:02But you,
00:58:04as the emerging sacred self,
00:58:05already know that voice,
00:58:07is not the ultimate.
00:58:09The real.
00:58:11Your work,
00:58:11is for the personality to argue with it,
00:58:14is not to feed it.
00:58:15Rather,
00:58:17just observe it.
00:58:18Do not believe,
00:58:20that those thoughts,
00:58:21those 85,000 thoughts,
00:58:23that run through your head each day,
00:58:24have the final word.
00:58:26Do not react to them.
00:58:28This is how we dissolve the fear,
00:58:31within.
00:58:31All illusion of the personality,
00:58:34needs energy,
00:58:35to sustain itself.
00:58:37And you,
00:58:38as a sacred person,
00:58:39no longer give,
00:58:41your primary energy to it.
00:58:43You can kill anything,
00:58:44by not feeding it.
00:58:46Remember that,
00:58:48as an ego,
00:58:48or personality identity,
00:58:50you do not sustain the frequency,
00:58:53of the sacred self,
00:58:54which actually sustains you.
00:58:56It is not an effort,
00:58:58of who we are.
00:59:00No.
00:59:02And once more,
00:59:03we quote Jesus,
00:59:04who said,
00:59:05you are the light of the world,
00:59:07a city,
00:59:08set on a hill,
00:59:09cannot be hidden.
00:59:11Can you see?
00:59:12Can you see,
00:59:13how the truth sets us free?
00:59:17There comes a point,
00:59:19in all of our lives,
00:59:21where the soul,
00:59:22must cross,
00:59:22a silent threshold.
00:59:24One that is not,
00:59:25often mentioned in books.
00:59:27It's not taught in classrooms.
00:59:29Universities.
00:59:30But it's something,
00:59:31which every true awakening requires.
00:59:34For the personality,
00:59:36to stop trying to be a channel.
00:59:38And for the sacred self,
00:59:39to become,
00:59:41presence,
00:59:42being,
00:59:42whatever you want to call it.
00:59:44For,
00:59:45the ego,
00:59:46the personality,
00:59:47that false identity,
00:59:49that we have,
00:59:50must stop transmitting,
00:59:52the false,
00:59:54the shadow,
00:59:54and the darkness.
00:59:57And it's in this way,
00:59:58that we,
00:59:59become the light.
01:00:00Goodness.
01:00:02It's what we all want.
01:00:04What you can do today,
01:00:05is live from the now.
01:00:06Live from presence.
01:00:08Learn to surrender.
01:00:09To let go of your need,
01:00:10to control.
01:00:12Let go of being a perfectionist.
01:00:16Let go.
01:00:17When you're in the present,
01:00:20as the sacred self,
01:00:21surrender is not even an effort.
01:00:24It's natural.
01:00:25You move beyond duality.
01:00:28And things just start to flow.
01:00:29So,
01:00:30embrace what comes through the sacred self.
01:00:33Without the personality losing its center,
01:00:36we integrate and dissolve what was,
01:00:38our story,
01:00:39into who we're becoming.
01:00:40In every difficult situation,
01:00:44conversation,
01:00:44or event,
01:00:46respond,
01:00:47don't react.
01:00:49Question the frightened personality,
01:00:51when it gets triggered.
01:00:53And respond,
01:00:54with,
01:00:55authentic love,
01:00:57authentic power.
01:00:59Look for the gap,
01:01:00or the pause,
01:01:02in between,
01:01:03stimulus and response,
01:01:05says Vector Frankel,
01:01:06there's a gap.
01:01:07And that gap,
01:01:08is what you need to practice every day.
01:01:10Make each day,
01:01:13a living expression,
01:01:15of consciousness,
01:01:16of truth.
01:01:17Do not let your personality,
01:01:19react anymore,
01:01:20to appearances,
01:01:22to the material.
01:01:24You don't need,
01:01:25to let your personality,
01:01:26into the game,
01:01:27of fear and separation.
01:01:30Keep your frequency.
01:01:33Keep your energy directed,
01:01:34and simply remain,
01:01:36aware of who,
01:01:37you really,
01:01:38really are.
01:01:40It's been aaters,
01:01:43you really,
01:01:46that you can,
01:01:49you know,
01:01:50you,
01:01:50you,
01:01:51you.
01:01:51It's been aami right,
01:01:51too.
01:01:52You know,
01:01:53if there's adening,
01:01:54you'll find the family 커 주세요,
01:01:57of course.
