00:00Hello! Hello. Welcome to our RV for the Vortex of Violence Tour. Alright, I'm Mike, play guitar for

00:21Allegiant. I'm Ezra, I sing for Allegiant. We're out here on the Vortex of Violence Tour with

00:26Warbringer, Skeletal Remains, and Summoning the Lich. We're in Reggie's in

00:32Chicago today. So from back to front, so we're in a Cruise America 7 pasture this

00:37tour and up here is, it's kind of messy, this is two bunks and it's like a queen

00:43bed, like right above the driver's section. During the day we kind of just use it for

00:47like bedding storages because all these other seating, like living area things

00:53get converted to chairs during the day. Both are like guitars up here for one

00:57warm-up and all that and that's where me and our sound guys sleep and it's

01:01honestly really nice, like I'm 6'3", 6'4", and I can lay down fully flat which never

01:07happened, like even on Euro buses I can't really go all the way. Does that ever leak?

01:11That does not leak thankfully, yeah there's a little vent up there for air

01:14which is nice but it's really loud if you're like on the highway so it's like

01:18oh yeah there's air up here but it's you know 90 decibels so it's not the

01:24greatest. So on this one we have our driver Jose. He's out getting food doing

01:29like daytime driver stuff before he has to go down but he keeps collecting like

01:34toys and stuff while we're on the road. Like he has a little kid so he just goes

01:39to like dollar stores or whatever is near venues and picks up random stuff to

01:44bring home to his kid and he is like pretty like you said you don't need to

01:51do a copal or anything he's just like it's he does this full-time for like

01:55other bands too so he's pretty he's a monster yeah we'll be like Jose you

01:59slept three hours like yeah I'll go for eight it's fine I'm learning about him

02:03uh this is the community trash can yeah this is how we get rid of trash that's

02:08one thing in the cruise Americas there's not really like a dedicated trash like area or

02:13this holders yeah so drinks will fall if you don't lay them down but this is the

02:18best option that we found for speaking like a little trash can just in between

02:22these two things so this would be essentially my buck or my bunk this and

02:28this kind of pull out same with this side you take out the bar and bring it

02:32down and it turns into like one nice like what twin size bed which is

02:38sufficient for me I'm five nine so I don't need anything too crazy this is

02:43cool for the mood lighting I dig that I'm the I'm the late here's a trick for

02:48the cruise Americas the overhead lighting is really harsh so like if you want

02:53vibes or anything there's a one light section like setting so you get these

02:58little gels on Amazon and you can just and then you have vibes cool so you're not

03:04just like full camping lights it's the detail full like see every pore on your

03:09body all the time so yeah this turns out to a bed this mamma jamma is cool I

03:16think our sound guy right yeah it's a charging well essentially a battery yeah but

03:22it's awesome it it has you got your USBs different variety of them you got your AC DC

03:29all that jazz not to show that's a Verizon hotspot for on-the-go work those are kind

03:37of necessary in these because the even though there's plugs like everywhere they will not

03:43run unless you have the generator on and you have to pay to use the generator on these so you

03:49don't want to have that going all the time but if you get one of these and just keep your

03:52phone charged and all that so it can stay connected and everything this is a guitar

03:57strap that we found on the sidewalk last night and it belongs to no band on this

04:03tour so free guitar strap this has been shifting at first it was a boo boo the

04:10bass player he was he was jamming out here for a bit and then Jeff was out in

04:16there or in the back with Greg and he was bouncing around too much it was just

04:19catching air all the time so essentially he started kind of moving out here

04:23getting better rest and I think it's been working out for boo boo more so back there

04:27as well yeah it's kind of well the intention was for everybody to have like

04:37their own nook but right now it's kind of just a mishmash of everybody's this is

04:42dominantly mine that's mostly his we got some other boys here but this has been a

04:47really cool thing to have on tour especially this like little guy we keep

04:51our our cleaning supplies up there we got our Febreze disinfectant wipes kind of

04:57keep the place clean and this is my favorite this is like a little secret

05:00weapon here this is where all the well mostly my shoes go so I got my my stage

05:07shoes my Crocs for like the showers at Planet Fitness which is a tour hack in

05:13itself and it also keeps like any kind of forbidden smells you know from kind of

05:20festering within the cabin so the Chris America is cool because I do have a

05:23propane range on here so we have the grates taking off right now because they

05:28rattle like while you're driving so it gets really loud and annoying but it's

05:33nice because you can actually you know cook like small things on here and not just

05:39have to eat out every day like you make we were baffled that we could just make

05:43grilled cheeses going like 70 miles an hour one day we're like oh my god and

05:47then microwave this mostly just has like you know like easy daytime foods like

05:56sandwiches and random crap espresso oh yeah coffee cups and all that so you make

06:02like French press see if you get like a little kettle you just set it on the range

06:06and then use all that and actually doesn't really go through propane that

06:10bad um which is cool because this also runs on the propane so you don't have to

06:17like keep your like generator going the whole time you can just have this on we

06:23have not really we have random stuff like this is weird baklava we bought in

06:29Toronto Toronto and for some reason as a touring brand you run into a lot of hot

06:34sauces which is a really cool thing these are some I think just a smaller

06:39company out of somewhere in Canada if I'm not mistaken maybe wherever that first

06:44joint was that we landed but you also get I mean you got your coffee this kind of

06:48keeps us going before go time he's really good at keeping his stock there

06:53we have anything in the freezer yeah I think we got veggies you can make it in the microwave real quick

06:59vodka having ice on tour is weirdly it's like clutch like you forget about luxuries

07:07at home you're like oh my god ice it's just there there's happiness a lot of the

07:11boys eat oatmeal so like the mixed berries is really good to add in there for a

07:15little bit of flavor on the go yeah so the cruise americas have a shower in the

07:20bathroom we don't really use the shower because sometimes they're winterized

07:24especially right now so you have to like drain it and then fill it up all the

07:30time and like run the hotwire here so mostly use it for storage for like

07:33stage clothes and random stuff we get like snacks and shoes and brooms and

07:40stuff but I guess they are nice if you use them but we never have we just to go to

07:46plant fitnesses in the morning and shower there and that's more more convenient

07:50than using this one then bathroom so seven best ones of like bathroom room looks

08:03like itself and yeah plant storage like a little medicine cabinet here there's some

08:09stuff up here definitely if you're using like the toilet get some fabuloso and just

08:16kind of pour a little bit in after you use it because we did do that the first

08:21week and then our RV smelled like pee and no one wants that I don't want to be the

08:26band the pee band never be the pee band and this is the back area it's not a

08:34queen-size bed nice little set of protection there some more storage on the

08:40side there on the top very cool stuff definitely not harboring any kind of

08:45dinosaur bones in there I got you know typical hooks to kind of keep things out

08:52of the way which is really nice the more of those the better for sure this is

08:56where I sneak my stage clothes for the most part is in the back lounge because I

09:00don't like it getting all stinky in the shower area I think these this one over

09:05here maybe seems a purpose I guess Greg keeps a lot of his luggage and such this is

09:11his go juice for when he's on stage it's kind of the equivalency of one of those

09:17Celsius or Red Bull for us looks like a drawer you know the mamma jamma RV and it

09:25another trash bag and a towel so right now we're we're really on the ossuary lens
