As Bernard gets used to using his magic watch, he finds it comes in very handy at school.

00:30There was once a boy called Bernard who had a magic watch.

00:37Quick as you can, Bernard. Your father's in a hurry.

00:40Have you got your reading book?

00:44When he pressed the button on his watch, Bernard could make time stand still.

00:49He could move, but everything around him stopped.

01:13It's in my bag.

01:15Good. Now straight out of the car. Your father doesn't want to be late.

01:36was that you always had time to do anything you might have forgotten.

02:42Bernard found his watch useful for all sorts of things.

02:52But one of the best places to use it was at school.

03:32And in football, the watch meant Bernard was a remarkably good goalkeeper.

05:33Unfortunately, the teacher had only written down the questions, not the answers.

06:21Bernard had always found multiplying difficult.

06:24But with his watch, it was very easy to work out the answer.
