00:00Let's get into it! First drag your model in the Bamboo Studio Slicer, then click the Color Painting button here at the top.

00:15Only one color is active now. To add filament colors, press this plus button.

00:21Click on the number here on the left to change the color of this filament.

00:24Here you can select the color to paint with.

00:31Let's start with the circle tool. Change the pen size here or press ctrl and move the mouse wheel.

00:38Click and hold left mouse button to start painting the selected areas.

00:42Now let's try the sphere tool.

00:54It works almost the same, but the difference is that it goes through walls.

01:00The inside is also painted as you can see. Let's paint some more with the sphere tool.

01:04You see both sides are painted in one action.

01:10Here you can enable a section view of the model.

01:16Click Reset Direction to cut along the current view orientation.

01:20Let's change to a side view with this cube and click Reset Direction again.

01:25It will now cut along the side view only.

01:35When checking Vertical, the paint will appear in that direction only.

01:42Let's change the view orientation perpendicular to the model to see this better.

01:48Click this button to erase all painting.

01:51The same goes with the horizontal checkbox.

02:04Erase all painting again.

02:07Let's switch to the yellow color and select the triangle tool.

02:10This 3D model consists of many triangles.

02:16Let's paint some of them.

02:18Hover over this icon to see which hotkeys are possible to use.

02:23Hold Alt while using the mouse wheel to change the section view.

02:37Press Alt plus Shift plus Enter to change to a wireframe model to see the triangles.

02:42Now you see how this paint tool works.

02:46Let's switch to the Height Range tool.

02:48And change it to the maximum level.

02:50Now you can paint a specific area at a specific height.

02:52Click to paint this region with the selected yellow color.

02:53Click to paint this region with the selected yellow color.

02:55Also make one region red after selecting this color.

02:58Let's move on to the Fill tool.

02:59Let's move on to the Fill tool.

03:00All similar surfaces can be filled at once.

03:01Hold left mouse button and drag the mouse to fill it.

03:02Now you can paint a specific area at a specific height.

03:04Now you can paint a specific area at a specific height.

03:10Click to paint this region with the selected yellow color.

03:13Also make one region red after selecting this color.

03:21Let's move on to the Fill tool.

03:23All similar surfaces can be filled at once.

03:29Hold left mouse button and drag the mouse to paint faster.

03:33This model can be painted in no time.

03:35The Gap Fill tool does not apply here.

03:50There are no gaps in this STL model to fill.

03:56Click this button to erase all painting again.

03:59When you uncheck the Edge Detection feature,

04:01the whole model can be painted with one click.

04:03You can change the settings for your model as desired.

04:20So if you want to paint it fast,

04:21uncheck the Edge Detection box and click the model.
