00:04challenging for the major trophies right toward the end because of all the problems you found this

00:07season more draining has it been more tiring has it been less demanding because you're not

00:11challenging for the titles right to the end i have been more demanding much more when you don't win

00:18is more demanding in terms of emotionally and preparing and the moods and everything

00:22so it's more more difficult have been more more difficult than the previous seasons that we play

00:27you know for the winning for the titles and you've obviously had a lot of manager seasons as a

00:32manager ups and downs winning things maybe not winning things has this been the most demanding

00:36season now you're coming to the end of it when you look back has this been the most demanding

00:39season since you were a manager since became manager i've been the more difficult yeah that's for sure

00:51hi um you've said a few times this season that you don't think you've done a particularly good

00:55job by your standards um you're going into a big high profile tournament in the summer and then

01:00next season i don't think anyone would say you've got a point to prove to the premier league or to city

01:05fans or anything but do you feel you've got a point to prove to yourself to get back to your very high

01:09level every time you have to prove yourself when i listen the players said what i've done in my career

01:15i don't have anything to prove completely wrong they should retire

01:19so the people pay the tickets to come to the stadium to

01:27to do every time i have to prove myself again and again and i'm disappointed myself when when

01:32it's not going well so when i retire and i will love and after we review my career i said okay i've

01:37been good or been bad or could be better could be worse but right now in that game i have to prove myself

01:43so life don't live from memories and without going into too much detail what sort of areas do you

01:52think you've you've not reached your high standards that what sort of give us some examples if you could

01:56of areas where you think you've not done as good a job we had a lot of injuries without didn't have the

02:01energy uh we we tried most of the time but we were not able to do it i didn't find the way

02:09to let them feel comfortable and winning games that give us giving games give help us to winning

02:15more games to be there but at the same time it's happened so you never you cannot win all the time

02:21in your career so accept the reality like a normality that it's life and and and and learn and improve

02:30just going back to what you were saying to rob about this being the most demanding season why

02:34why in particular is that do you feel well we didn't win one game for many months we were able

02:40to win a lot of games so it's a mandate we don't win it's a business you have to win games otherwise

02:45you cannot be here next time and we represent the people represent a club that you have to do your

02:49job as best as possible and today this season we didn't do that so we were in a high standards and

02:56we we dropped here even with that i would say could be worse so i know how many champions champions and

03:03start in november september october november that they don't find a way to win the premier league

03:09and they finish 12th or six or seven no seven six or seven it's fine but 10 11 or 12 30 40 a lot

03:16just look the history so and even with that we were not good i was not good to find a way but we

03:24didn't give up that's why we are here and still fighting you know to to qualify for the champions league

03:29that is a big big big prize everyone has to admit that and and even the final fair cup and we won the

03:37community shield in the beginning of the season against united so we won one title we fight for the

03:41second and when they qualify in terms of results after that they said okay no it's not been good i

03:47know that could be worse so still we were there i was there the players were there not our best but

03:53we didn't give up when it comes to reviewing the season do you look at what you've done and

03:59assess yourself almost and see you know what you could have done better and what you know what you

04:03might have done differently it's easy to say i would say yeah we differently but that would prove that

04:11they would have success succeed i don't know so i'm sorry in sport when it's over it's over you're

04:18going to say no if i should have done this in different way nobody knows the moment decision

04:23was a reflection about many things and and we have done it hi pat can you talk about jeremy docker

04:32he's got two assists in two games do you feel he's becoming more consistent and how has he evolved since

04:38he started at the club when you signed him the impact is really good

04:42in that season defensively in work i think it's an impact when you come three minutes how you can

04:51change the game yeah i've been really good you're becoming more a player you can rely on more than

04:57maybe this time last season listen the players when we want to improve we want to love to play

05:04and they are focused and they want a good spirit and good you know they are better so every season

05:11you play and you are positive you are better player you are and i think he will become a top

05:17it is already so in the final third when we drop the team's ability to to directions is unbelievable

05:25hi pat um just on bernardo um you mentioned uh cover stitches improvement in form earlier um

05:33what has playing alongside bernardo done for him and what what's their relationship been like in the

05:37in the team recently well bernardo so intuitive he's so competitor

05:44i think josco have been the more important most important player that we had this season without

05:48josco will be impossible to sustain these are reliable to play every three days during 11 months in the

05:55good bad moments josco have been top and uh

06:00uh and and bernardo i said many times with a few and other players in the bad moments of the season

06:10all have been there i've been there i've been there and i don't forget that so it's easy when everybody

06:17see it when everything is fine and everything is but when you are reliable being available to play every

06:24three days and fight and suffer and next day game another one and try it again and try it again and

06:29try it again in that bad moments that means a lot to me a lot he does so many jobs in the team for you

06:36bernardo is he the sort of player that you can just say this is what i need for this game can you can you

06:42help me there yeah as a player he has to say you play in that position he adapt he knows exactly what

06:48they have to do it's like rico there are players that no i play in that position no they play football

06:55and when they play football they know exactly which position but what they have to do and that's it to

07:00tell them yeah they move it depends what happens to the opponents and your mates and the movements of

07:05in the right moment they adapt every situation because they are completely focused with that that is the truth

07:12just back to when you and the team were struggling earlier in the season were there any points where

07:21you worried that you weren't going to be able to to solve the problems

07:28no always i thought i i thought every time i would solve it but didn't solve it i said next time okay i

07:36will solve it i didn't solve it but i knew that sooner or later when i just saw what happened yeah for sure

07:43and if you had that belief kind of if there were kind of noise from outside the club maybe doubting

07:49whether you and the players would sort of still be able to have that success was that any extra kind

07:55of motivation

08:00a little bit the people doubts and the people are waiting when you win a lot the people are waiting

08:05you drop and they are happy when this happens that that is normal so the rivals and the people they are not

08:10like us so it's normal so it's part of the game these emotions and the people is happy when the

08:18defeat for the other one it's it's almost part of the of the game man i was more concerned what i have

08:24to do you know to win games to help the team to be the players feet you know to to do it i was more

08:30concerned than that and the team's been very stable for the last month or so do you feel like you're through

08:36kind of the worst that you'll go through with this squad listen you weren't always to happen was a

08:43football player in a tough tough season that we were in a run that no good results people say nine

08:48cannot be worse can no more yeah it can be

08:52now we lost three or four games listen no we can lose five six them in the opposite side you can win

08:59seven eight nine ten eleven so you never know what's happened the truth that then now we are good in a

09:04good drama results in the right moment because i know how difficult have been so far but still we

09:11are there so the teams will fight all the contenders that we have they will fight to win the games to

09:17win the champions next season and tomorrow we will have this experience thank you guys okay thank you
