00:00Last year was the best year that we've had for incoming investments in the startup ecosystem.

00:07Foxmont, as you know from the Philippine Venture Capital Report, we track inward investments and it was a record-breaking year.

00:16We did great as an ecosystem and I think we will continue to do better and better.

00:21So our report actually comes out with four key sectors to focus on.

00:25And in fact, within that, there's key areas within these sectors that we think you can really build great businesses.

00:34So one is actually to look very closely into those four sectors, agrotech, climate, health and fintech.

00:43All very, very interesting places to start a business.

00:47But very practically, I think we stick to it.

00:51We stick to what we do best, right?

00:53Filipino entrepreneurs, we're scrappy.

00:56We can build great businesses without necessarily relying on growth capital all the time.

01:01If we just stick to the core fundamentals, focus on getting the profitability, servicing our market,

01:08then servicing our market, then I think we'll still be very successful in what we do.
