00:00If they don't take risks tonight, they'll go through. That's what they have to do.
00:03They have to sort of quell the initial, you know, the intensity and the energy that Bordeaux will bring.
00:08But just be in control and make good decisions.
00:11It seems like everybody we've spoken to who's Norwegian is extraordinarily confident.
00:16It's quite interesting. Some of the Spurs fans, I don't know whether you spoke to them earlier,
00:21they've chartered a plane to get here because it's otherwise a flight via Norway, via Oslo that we did.
00:26And their plane, I'm told, leaves at midnight local time tonight.
00:30So 11 o'clock your time. We are next door to the airport, but it might be a nervous wait
00:35if this tie goes through extra time and maybe penalties.
00:38I'm sure all of us, including them, will be hoping that doesn't happen this evening.
00:44Yeah, let's hope we don't get to that point. Hey, guys, definitely not.
00:49Talking about the way Spurs set up tonight, though, Glenn, they don't need to win the game,
00:54but they don't want to get penned in as well. So how key is that midfield tonight?
00:59Yeah, the midfield's always important in any team, in any game.
01:02But I think that's why Benton Kerr and Basuma has been put in there.
01:06They were there for the home leg, but now I don't think they'll go out.
01:09I don't think they'll go away from them positions much.
01:11They had a little bit, Benton Kerr particularly, when he plays with Basuma,
01:14he comes at half eight. He's allowed to get in there.
01:17I don't need that tonight. You know, they're two up.
01:20They've got to, those two have got to really sit, let Richarlison, let the front friend Kulusevsky
01:25really have a go and the full-backs will go and join.
01:27I think it's interesting, you saw the clips from Boda, they want to hit you on the break as well sometimes
01:33and they do that very well. These two, it's a big job for them two, just to sit in there,
01:37make sure they control the game, make sure they lock on and make sure they get pressure on the ball.
01:43These players are not used to having immense pressure on the ball.
01:46The pitch is wet, it's going to be quick. Can you play under immense pressure?
01:51If you give a professional time and space on the ball, he could hurt you.
01:54Berg could hurt you, but I think they'll be told, let's really make it hard.
01:58And that midfield, it's more about not what we do with the ball,
02:01let's make sure we're really getting their heads down, pressing them hard.
02:04And then when we win it, let's keep the ball and be nice and safe.
02:07And with no James Madison, they need Kulusevsky to give them a bit of creative spot.
02:12That example there is exactly what's needed tonight to make sure you're pressing players.
02:16With Benton Kerr, he does it well as also.
02:18You know, it's horses for courses. Frankfurt was a completely different atmosphere.
02:22It was intimidating. This is intimidating in a strange way.
02:25The pitch, the weather, the belief they've got in themselves.
02:28They've got to match that and then go on and win the game.
02:31The balls will have those players out of their comfort zone, won't they?
02:34Well, the players going through their warm-ups out in Norway,
02:37where the conditions are not too bad, really, for that part of the world.
02:41It's very wet, though, around 7 degrees, but hardly an arctic winter.
02:46We'll get the pre-game thoughts of Ange Postacoglu next.
02:49The drama continues tomorrow in Albania as the 108th Gero d'Italia gets underway.
03:09Yes, we've got the Tour of Italy and we've got Tom Pidcock, the Brit,
03:13possibly having a chance to take that first leaders jersey.
03:16And also, for the Brits out there, we've got Simon and Adam Yates,
03:18the twin brothers, on different teams, going up against each other for that general classification.
03:23You are not going to want to miss it.
03:25It's going to be a brilliant three weeks.
03:26And it all kicks off at midday tomorrow on TNT Sports 3 and on Discovery Plus.
03:31We'll see you there.
03:32Thanks to Orla and Adam.
03:36Looking forward to that getting started.
03:38But now our attention is the Asmira Stadium,
03:41where kick-off between Bode Glimt and Tottenham in this Europa League semi-final second leg
03:46is fast approaching.
03:49And the headlines from that Tottenham team are there's just one change from the first leg
03:54with James Madison out injured.
03:56It's Dejan Kulicevski starting this evening, looking to bring that creative spark.
04:01Dominic Solanke, though, is OK.
04:04He's good to go, hoping to add to his four goals in Europe this season.
04:09And there's still no Son Jong-min.
04:11So, Richarlison starting on the left of that front three once again.
04:16We can hear from the Spurs boss, Ange Postakoglu, is with Danny.
04:20Ange, let's start with the team that you've named tonight.
04:23It's only one change in force from the first leg last week,
04:26Dejan Kulicevski in for James Madison.
04:28Madison has been so good for you in Europe.
04:30How do you replace what he offers in that midfield?
04:33Yeah, look, we've had to deal with those kind of things all year.
04:36And, you know, I think Deky coming in is, you know,
04:40we've got him back at the right time because obviously losing Lucas
04:42and matters in the last couple of weeks hasn't been great.
04:45But having Kulicevski back has been key for us.
04:48All of the talk from the Norwegian press here about the surface
04:52has been how much quicker Buda Glimps play with the ball with their passing.
04:56How do you mitigate that and how can you use that to your own team's advantage?
05:00Well, we like to play quick as well.
05:01So, you know, I think what's important is, like I said,
05:04we did some things really well the other night
05:07and I still think those things will be effective tonight
05:09and that's what we've got to focus on.
05:11A couple of the words that you've used consistently in these away legs
05:14has been being disciplined and being organised.
05:16How important are those two qualities tonight?
05:18Yeah, crucial.
05:19You know, it's second legs of knockout competitions,
05:22particularly deep in the competition.
05:23You know, every moment's important.
05:24And we've been really good in those areas in Europe
05:28and it's going to need a similar type of performance tonight.
05:31And this halfway to a huge European final,
05:34how do you encourage your players to run towards that opportunity this evening?
05:37Yeah, I don't think they need too much sort of motivation for it.
05:39They're aware of what's at stake
05:41and they're also aware that they've earned the right to be in this position.
05:44And, you know, there's an opportunity now for us to bring it home tonight.
05:48Wish you the best of luck.
05:49Thanks, bud. Thank you.
05:50Thanks, Danny.
05:51Well, they've come through tough away games already.
05:53The way they've played away in Frankfurt in a hostile environment
05:57gives you no reason to think that they can't go through, Glenn.
06:00Does that have to be a blueprint for tonight?
06:03Absolutely.
06:04I think it's a completely different style of game, though.
06:06But you get the feeling with Solanke, for me,
06:08that there's more to come from him.
06:10If he can stay injury-free,
06:11I think his performances for Spurs have been good.
06:14But I think there's more to come.
06:15And I think if he scores a few more goals,
06:17gets that confidence, that belief,
06:19I think he could be, you know,
06:21a really good acquisition for Spurs over a longer period of time.
06:25But I would say sometimes, stand still.
06:27Have a rest.
06:28Wait until everyone's with you in that midfield area,
06:31ready to press.
06:32He does waste a lot of energy.
06:34And consequently, you want that in the latter part of the game
06:37to actually produce goals and efforts
06:39in the last 15 minutes of a game.
06:43All the good work he normally does is early on in the game
06:45because I think he's worked so hard sometimes.
06:48But more to come for me.
06:49And I think it will come.
06:50He's got the ability.
06:51Hopefully some of it tonight.
06:53Let's hope so, Lindsay.
06:53Well, the time for talking is almost over
06:57because it's time for the main event.
07:00Can Spurs get over the line to Bilbao?
07:03Or will it be an historic night for Norwegian football?
07:07Kick-off is coming next.

07:59Often Spurs have received a cool reception
08:02back in there.
08:03Dispirited support.
08:05But not tonight.
08:06The atmosphere is sizzling.
08:08Corre with a cross.
08:09It's a decent one.
08:10Richarlison.
08:11Johnson is there.
08:12And Tottenham lead.
08:13Less than 40 seconds on the clock.
08:16Corre looking for Maddison.
08:18Finding Maddison.
08:20And it's there.
08:21Betancourt.
08:22Rossi gives the power to the Tottenham.
08:25This you feel is a crucial moment.
08:27Solanke.
08:28Pitch Tottenham in poor position.
08:30Solanke.
08:31It's exactly what Tottenham did about.
08:33No, that's unbelievable.
08:34They have given themselves a lead to defend.
08:37The possibility remains of Spurs lifting a trophy in Europe for the first time in 41 years.
08:46It's Advantage first then.
08:48Can they finish the job and get to the final in Bilbao?
08:52We'll find out very shortly.
08:53Three other European semifinals across TNT Sports tonight including Manchester United also aiming to get to Bilbao and the potential for an all-English Europa League final.
09:05Plus Chelsea in the Conference League and the highlights will be at 10.30 this evening.
09:10Well, this is going to be such a unique experience for these Spurs players.
09:16The artificial grass, the stadium open to the elements, surrounded by mountains, the nearest big towns, about 10 hours drive away.
09:26David, this is going to be a big test of their mental strength.
09:30That's it.
09:30They need to turn up, be professional about it, get the job done and walk away over 2-0.
09:34That's what they need to do.
09:36Glenn, what are the emotions like this close to kick-off?
09:39Yeah, I mean, the lads will be excited, you know.
09:41They know they've got the two-goal lead but it's game on.
09:45It's head, you know, just cut away from all this stuff, all the stuff that's going on last night, the fireworks, the pitch.
09:51As I said earlier, embrace the pitch.
09:53Enjoy.
09:54Look forward to going out there and playing.
09:55Look forward to going.
09:56It's a pretty bleak sort of atmosphere, a bleak place at the moment with the rain.
10:00And you've got to go and enjoy them moments and say, look, we're playing for the opportunity to be lined up in the final against probably Man United.
10:08That's what this team's going to take away from us.
10:11That's going to be taken away from you.
10:13Go out there and be motivated and go and win this game because that's where you're going to be.
10:17If you win this game or you draw this game and you get through, that's where you're in that tunnel against Man United probably in Bilbao.
10:24Nothing to do with tonight, so then there's your motivation.
10:26They obviously think Ali McCoyce is going to be watching with a bit of ACDC there as well.
10:32David, it's such a huge night for Ange Postakoglu as well.
10:36Is his legacy at Spurs going to be defined by tonight and a possible final?
10:42Well, he put himself under pressure, didn't he?
10:44Saying that he always wins a cap in his second season.
10:48That was a lot of pressure.
10:49I think that's gone against him.
10:51It's massive, losing 19 Premier League games as well this year, which is a huge negative on the football club.
10:56But he could turn it around tonight and as they go out there, get the result.
11:00Like I said, you've got Man United waiting for you, we think.
11:02You can build Bale and what a great thing to do to win a European title.
