00:00Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors, I think about where they were at the end of last year.

00:04It was looking like maybe they wouldn't make the playoffs and, you know, the future was uncertain.

00:09Are they going to break it up?

00:10Is Steve Kerr coming back?

00:11And then they get Jimmy Butler and they surge all the way through.

00:15And now they're through the first round of the NBA playoffs after defeating the Houston Rockets.

00:20I sort of feel bad for the Rockets a little bit.

00:22They just got a really bad draw in getting a Golden State team that came on strong at the end of the season.

00:28And, you know, Buddy Heald was the big story for them last night.

00:31He knocked down nine threes.

00:32I don't think that's going to happen again, Gilbert.

00:34But needless to say, I think the Warriors are still very formidable.

00:37And, you know, we'll talk about them taking on the Timberwolves, but there's no question they could win that series, too.

00:43Absolutely.

00:43Any team that has Steph Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green playoff risers, that's a team that you need to be worried about.

00:50And you have Buddy Heald's performance last night where it's going to be different guys to step up.

00:54That's kind of the story of the playoffs that makes it so fun because another game, it could be Brandon Pajemski.

00:59It could be a guy like Quentin Post.

01:00And the Warriors have guys because of how special their star three trio is.

01:05They can make the guys around them better and they can elevate the way that they played.

01:08And we saw that Steph Curry, three points in the first half, steps up in the second half, 19 points in the second half to carry them home.

01:14Jimmy Butler makes big shots in that game as well.

01:16And like you said, I feel bad for the Rockets because of the team that they drew.

01:19I knew they had no chance of winning a game seven against a bunch of guys who have been there before.

01:24And it's a young Rockets team with a few guys who have been there before.

01:27But you saw it in the margins.

01:29The Warriors were able to make the plays when the Rockets could not make the plays.

01:31And ultimately, the Rockets were ahead of schedule.

01:34But hopefully they take this and make some moves and get better moving forward.
