00:00On Tuesday night, the Golden State Warriors will open up another series against the Minnesota
00:04Timberwolves. If we look in that series price right now, heavy favorite for the Timberwolves
00:10at a minus 178 price. If you like the dog and the Warriors, it's a plus 150. Also,
00:15you take a look at the spreads in the series, the Golden State Warriors getting a game and a half,
00:18that's minus 154. And then the shortest price there, game number seven, a plus 198. We are
00:23expecting a competitive series, but I want to ask you, Joe, if you look at the price points right
00:28now, does anything stick out to you? Well, listen, I mean, this is not a great situation
00:35that Golden State couldn't handle business earlier, but they did go three and one against
00:40the Timberwolves this season. So it's not like they haven't, they haven't had some success
00:46against this team, but they haven't faced the Warriors, I think, since January 15th. So,
00:52and I believe that was a few weeks before Jimmy Butler even was part of this team.
00:58So yeah, draining seven game series, advantage Minnesota, they have home court advantage as
01:04well. But with the, with what we saw and with the experience on this team, as long as everybody
01:11stays healthy, Donnie, I think they have a puncher's chance here to Golden State Warriors
01:15are getting it done here and actually winning this series. But that would require to make sure
01:19everybody remains on the court. You got a few guys there that are one fall away from missing
01:25games and then they're in trouble. No, you're right about that. And also understand this veteran
01:31teams here, typically in the playoffs, you want that extended rest. You're not getting that if
01:34you're the Golden State Warriors. So if you look at the Timberwolves perspective, home rested and
01:39ready, not the wear and tear of a seven game series and only had a five game series against the Los
01:43Angeles Lakers, which then brings me into my next topic here. If you're looking at the game,
01:47which is Tuesday at 930, six point favorite for the Minnesota Timberwolves and a total of 208.
01:53There are two ways you can approach this game because most people in the common thought would
01:56be, wow, what a series for the Warriors. They had to win it in seven games. They won it on the road.
02:02You know, are they even going to fly back home? They fly directly just, you know, right over to
02:05Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves and settle into their hotel. But also sometimes Joe
02:10and you know, this you can run on adrenaline and have that carryover effect from game number seven,
02:15or you can have that. Woo. Thank goodness. We got through game seven. We're going to get routed
02:19in game number one. We'll circle the wagons for game number two, or as I said, ride the momentum
02:24and the adrenaline when game number one, then maybe a crash down in game number two. What's your thought
02:29process on the Warriors going from a seven game series, right to Minnesota on how they open up this
02:34series? Well, I think what we just saw from Buddy Heald is the big X factor here because I don't think
02:42is a question. Listen, Minnesota has the experience now, right? They were there a year ago. Let's not
02:47forget, although they do have a couple of former Knicks on that team, which is going to be
02:51interesting. But the reality is the Warriors can still out shoot the Minnesota Timberwolves on any
02:58given night, Donnie. They are a better shooting team. You know, what are you going to get from
03:03Anthony Edwards? Are you going to get 12 points? You're going to get 32 points. That's the big question
03:08there. And they did a great job defensively against in the Rockets in this series. It feels like I'd be
03:15looking at more unders than anything else here. But game one is all going to be about can Golden State
03:22shoot well enough to make Minnesota uncomfortable and take advantage of maybe a little bit of a little
03:28bit of rust here for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Just look at the Cleveland Cavaliers yesterday.
03:32I had that workout.
