00:00Good morning and welcome to the Commercial Vehicle Show, the CV Show in the NEC in Birmingham 2025.
00:05It's the 25th anniversary of the Commercial Vehicle Show. Lots of things to run through today,
00:10lots of product launches and what we're going to be doing is having a quick walk around,
00:13probably do it all in real time and run through each of the electric vans and trucks that are
00:18available here in the marketplace. What we have starting off is the Ford Stand Electric Avenue.
00:24It is 60 years of the Transit and we have the Ford E-Transit. This is the advanced range one and that
00:32is going to be coming up on the channel soon. I was lucky enough to be in Barcelona a while ago
00:36because it's 60 years to have this beautiful heritage, not electric, but it is a gorgeous
00:43old Transit. So the E-Transit has an existing, has a bigger battery now, faster charging, etc, etc.
00:51And then we've got the box body one here. You can recognize that it's the E because of that blue
00:57anodized front grille on it. So great that that's a better charging and the fact that it's a bigger
01:02battery. You have the tipper body in the back of this one on the E-Transit. And then as we move along
01:08here, we have on the electric avenue section, Ford E-Transit Courier, which we've had on the channel
01:17only recently in that beautiful digital blue, digital azure blue. Yeah, I like this fan a lot.
01:27It's based on that car drive platform that is on the Puma Gen E that we would have seen. So you can
01:33see your dual screens. There's a full review up in the channel already if you're interested in that.
01:36But this has the 6040 door in the rear. Oh, it's got the through hatch there as well.
01:41They've dropped down the seat for that extra length. Very good. And that seat drops down.
01:48That's the Ford E-Transit Courier. Then we've got something different. A Ford
01:56E-Transit Custom, whether it is the MSRT spec. Look at this. Absolutely madness. You can see the
02:05grills and all the fins and all the glass black. That colour is... Look at these wheels. Gorgeous.
02:14This is a crew cab.
02:18Right-hand drive.
02:22Why are you not opening?
02:25You can see the crew... This is proper spec.
02:28And then you've got this mad spoilers at the back.
02:35E-Transit Custom. Then also on the stand, we've got the regular E-Transit Custom over here.
02:42Again, reviews just after going up on the channel.
02:45And that digital blue with that diamond grille. Something that they have that has one Goodwood.
02:52Uh, could you really call it a van? But up at the end of Electric Avenue is
02:58Supervan 4.2. Look at this thing. Absolute.
03:06Mad.
03:06And so you can see here, based on a real transit chassis, range, rear-wheel range around 50 miles.
03:17It does top speed of over 200 miles an hour, zero to 60 in 1.4 seconds, and it has 200 horsepower.
03:25It's quad motor, one on each of the wheels. So that is the Ford stand at Commercial Vehicle Show,
03:33the Electric Avenue, as they call it. And the only one that we're missing on the channel is the
03:37Advanced or Updated Electric... Sorry, E-Transit.
03:44Going on then, we will go down the left-hand side and try and work our way around the actual show.
03:49Yeah, we'll do it in one take. Follow me on this journey.
03:52Um, so we have another E-Transit there. Years of fun. Clerks kit out.
04:01Um, lots of extra stuff there that's going to be in relation to the, um, van and truck space.
04:08So you've got a lot of people kitting out, uh, et cetera, et cetera.
04:11Uh, van racking.
04:15Little barista coffee thing.
04:18And this is a Maxis, by the looks of things. Yes, it is.
04:22And they have it all kitted out. Maxis aren't actually exhibiting this year.
04:25But they forgot all the shelving in the back of that.
04:27So that is the Maxis E-Deliver 5, I'm pretty sure.
04:32Have I got it right? Yes, I did.
04:36Maxis E-Deliver 5.
04:43Skoda Enyak.
04:48Not electric.
04:49National grid.
04:51I'm going down along this way just so that I catch everything.
04:54I can see the Renault stand coming up.
04:55So Renault have a huge stand here.
05:00And they've got a couple of concepts here.
05:02And again, these are concepts that we would have seen at the, um, IAA last year.
05:08So we've got the Estefette with that sliding door.
05:12800-volt architecture.
05:13Probably got some stats. Yes, we do.
05:18And so up to a thousand kgs.
05:20It's a 150 kilowatt rear motor.
05:23I can probably just show you there on the screen and you can pause it.
05:26Battery 800-volt, 80 kilowatt hour and range.
05:30Long range and an urban range.
05:33Okay.
05:34350 and 270.
05:37That's the Estefette.
05:39Really interesting.
05:40Real high.
05:41Reminds me of an American postal delivery van.
05:43And then they've got the, what is this one called?
05:46This is the E-Golette.
05:50Or Go-A-Lette.
05:51And this one has a 800-volt as well.
05:54And same size batteries.
05:56Very good.
05:57200 kilometer and 150 kilometer.
05:59Let me just zoom in a little bit more so you can see it.
06:03So it's got that box body on the rear then as well.
06:07Uh, Renault Kangoo, which we have on the channel.
06:10We don't have the Traffic Electric yet, but we do have the Renault Master.
06:14And this is the new Traffic E-Tense.
06:16Sorry, new Traffic E-Tense.
06:21Interesting.
06:23And so you can see inside here.
06:26Oh, it's got that Google.
06:28Let me zoom in.
06:30Very much like the Renault 5, Renault 4, Google built in.
06:35Good to see that actually.
06:40Yeah.
06:42Sleep panel designs.
06:43That's the new Renault Traffic E-Tense.
06:49All roped off, unfortunately.
06:51Charging on the front right-hand side.
06:56And then on the specs of this one, you have, again, 800 volt again.
07:01An 80 kilowatt hour battery.
07:03Why am I not showing you this?
07:05An 80 kilowatt hour battery and a 60 kilowatt hour battery.
07:08450 or 350.
07:12Nice.
07:13So that is the Renault stand.
07:17This was all closed off before there was no sneak peeks from Mr. Paul Kirby.
07:23When he was going around the day, the night before the show.
07:29Until I get some of the more electric vehicles, I won't bother showing you.
07:33Yeah.
07:33So we've got the Renault stuff.
07:35I know that there's Verizon here somewhere.
07:37There's Flexis here somewhere.
07:38And so I just want to make sure we don't miss any as we walk around.
07:43So commercial vehicle shows across hall five and a hall four here at the NEC in Birmingham.
07:48And as I said, it's 25th anniversary.
07:50So it started in the year 2000.
07:53Obviously, pandemics didn't help things there.
07:56And so, right, we are down at the end and we are going to be looking at Verizon.
08:08You can see they've got this huge LED stand at the top here.
08:12So Verizon is Geely or Geely.
08:17So think Volvo.
08:18Think London Black Taxi.
08:20Think Jaguar.
08:22Think Lotus.
08:24Not Jaguar.
08:24Sorry.
08:25Think Lotus.
08:26And so this is high roof, long wheelbase.
08:30Verizon Supervan.
08:31I think we would have seen this at IAA in Hanover.
08:35And so SV L3H3.
08:40They do two different battery sizes in 83 kilowatt hour and a 106 kilowatt hour.
08:46So lots of stats there.
08:48This is the barista one with cast iron coffee.
08:52And then we've got everything moving, but me not moving.
08:55It was a very weird sensation there, actually.
08:58Very cool LED wall inside.
09:00And so you can see it's all set up there.
09:02Great space for L3H3.
09:05Then we have H1L1.
09:09Comes in two different battery sizes again.
09:1267 kilowatt hour and an 83 kilowatt hour.
09:17Right on drive.
09:19I like these little touches of copper that they've got going on.
09:22Had a quick look at this in Paris.
09:25And see where there's no B pillar.
09:27The safety belt is in here.
09:30Big chunk.
09:33Tie off points.
09:38Very good.
09:40And then driver wise, you've got your adjustable wind mirrors.
09:45Electric windows up and down central locking.
09:47That's your handle there.
09:49And then your driver display.
09:52Your infotainment screen.
09:53A bit of glass black going on.
09:54We're not sure how that's going to last.
09:56But if I remember correctly.
09:58Yes.
09:59Cup holders.
10:01And more storage down there.
10:05Nice three bench.
10:07So that's the Verizon L1H1.
10:12And then this is kind of a medium.
10:13This looks like a refrigerated body.
10:16Well, you've got your power outlet on the side here.
10:19And this one is the L2H2.
10:27Again, two same battery sizes.
10:31I'm going to have these on the channel for a bit longer.
10:33But you can see you've got the refrigerated unit up on the top.
10:36There's a nice light bar around here.
10:38And the daytime running lights.
10:44You've got the real aero wheels.
10:47So that is, look at the size of this Kia stand.
10:51I'm going to pop over here to Flexus before I go on to Kia.
10:57So you have the branded
11:02AA.
11:02Oh, that's Verizon as well, actually, not Flexus.
11:07Sorry.
11:08That's the same as the one we're after seeing.
11:09Charging port, front right-hand corner.
11:13Locked.
11:15Very good.
11:16So that is Everton.
11:17That is Verizon.
11:19Then onto the Kia stand that we would have seen at Kia EV day.
11:22Great space.
11:23God, above it's absolutely massive.
11:26Price is announced here yesterday.
11:28Starting off at
11:30X vat, if I remember correctly, around 28,000 pounds.
11:36So this is the Cargo PV.
11:38You've got the digital, what do they call it?
11:41Star map lights, daytime running lights.
11:44Your high-low beam modules are here.
11:46Then you've got your charging port at the front.
11:47This is based on the EGMP S platform.
11:50400-volt architecture.
11:52You've got that beautiful two-tone with the black line that keeps it really low.
11:55But look how low down that window is for the drivers to see what's going on.
11:59And that blind spot.
12:01Locked.
12:04And then at the rear, you've got your high-level brake lamp.
12:06You've got your warts.
12:08Making sure your tools aren't stolen.
12:11And your vertical tail lamps.
12:13If you want to see more detailed videos on this, you can see it up on the channel.
12:17And so we've got two cargos.
12:20Size-wise, I'm in it before the show actually opened.
12:24So everything's not turned on yet.
12:27Same again.
12:30And then we've got the crew cab.
12:31And this one is interesting because the actual crew cab,
12:34I can go and have a look at that video on the channel.
12:36Their seats, they actually fold up and the bulkhead moves forward.
12:39So if you want more space, you can actually get more space.
12:43No, this isn't open.
12:45Tinted windows.
12:46I don't think we're going to get tinted windows on the front of the windscreen,
12:48but this is very much a prototype.
12:53We have the KGM stand.
12:55Nothing electric and commercial there.
12:58We've got the Aveco eDaily.
13:03That's the new one.
13:04You can tell by the new one by this grille on the front of it as well.
13:07And so box body.
13:10Again, I'm going to get this on the channel for a proper review.
13:14You can do a 50 kilowatt EPTO.
13:17So if I remember correctly, this is a stage.
13:21We've got another AA van there.
13:24And yeah, they've done a great job with the Aveco.
13:28You can see the stage area there all cleared out.
13:31So moving on, we have EV Cafe.
13:43For pro converters.
13:44So e-transit with a box body on the back, regular e-transit, e-trucks.
13:48Where is our friends in Flexis?
13:58You've got the Groupel.
13:59We would have had that at the electric vehicle show in Dublin with the bot conversion.
14:06So you've got the bigger body there.
14:08You've got the smaller one over here.
14:10You've got the powered skip.
14:13Handheld, but tipper and bin collection.
14:19Interesting.
14:21Very interesting.
14:23And you can see what it looks like there when it's tipped up at the G4 from Groupel.

14:31I've gone around the edges now, so I'll have to go up the middle.

15:54Some of our brand brands aren't actually at the commercial vehicle show directly.
15:59The likes of any of the Stellantis stuff.
16:02So your Vauxhall's or your Fiats, etc.
16:06And then we also are missing the likes of Volkswagen, which you can see here.
16:09Volkswagen ID Buzz.
16:11This is the Zuzu stand.
16:16And you've got the DMX.
16:18DMX.
16:18DMX.
16:19The DMX EV.
16:23Nice.
16:26So it looks like a regular DMX, but you can see it has the EV side of things here.
16:30So if you're looking for an electric pickup, we already have the likes of the Ford F-150
16:35in some European markets left-hand drive.
16:36But right-hand drive is hard to find it.
16:38This is a left-hand drive model, so you can see it has all the proper gear as well for
16:45your towing, etc.
16:48Looks like a traditional DMX.
16:52Spec-wise, I think it comes in two battery sizes.
16:56There is no board around the place to advise me.
17:00That is the DMX.
17:01EV.
17:11Now, I'm going to try and find flexes to see where they're at.
17:16I will cut it.
17:17I think it might be up in hall five, but I'll have a look around here now,
17:19whether I'm having you walk around with me looking at all these other stuff.

17:23I didn't actually take that far to find it.
17:25And there's the iron hall four.
17:27We are on the flexes stand.
17:28So you've got the skateboard platform here, just to show you exactly how it operates
17:32and all the different options there.
17:34And then you have the ability of the step-in vans.
17:37Closed off here now, but you can see real delivery, parcel delivery.
17:40So you've got that jump seat.
17:42But you can see how low down it is.
17:51And then on the rear, they can show you the actual size.
17:54You can totally convert it out with shelving.
17:55So look at the height of it.
17:56It's great.
17:58This is what it looks like.
17:59Oh, it's got a roller door.
18:02Nice.
18:03And a sliding door on the side.
18:04Very similar to the Estefette.
18:07So this is a collaboration.
18:09Flexis is a collaboration with Renault and Volvo, et cetera, et cetera.
18:12So it's interesting that this looks so much like the Estefette from Renault.
18:17So that is the Flexis.
18:20Step-in van is what they're calling that.
18:23Two-tone with the sliding door.

18:33Let's head up to hall five and see what's available up there.
18:37Nearly didn't spot the Mercedes-Benz stand.
18:40And we have the E-Citan.
18:42One that I don't have on the channel and I don't think I'm going to get on the channel
18:45because it is stopping production, I believe.
18:47This is based on the Renault Kangoo.
18:49That collaboration between Renault and Mercedes-Benz in a commercial vehicle side of things.
18:55But I don't think that's going to be available by the time I get it.
19:00And then we've got the E-Vito, which has been on the channel a couple of times.
19:04The original and the updated one.
19:08Yeah.
19:08Don't see too many on the road.
19:11Charging up in the top right-hand corner.
19:14Yeah.
19:15Down there.
19:15So E-Vito for Mercedes-Benz.
19:18Here in the hall five section, I'm just after finding a one-seater delivery called Elm, E-L-M.
19:23Got the charging port on the front.
19:25But nice.
19:26Looks like it's a carbon fiber kind of a body.
19:28But the fact that it's a one-seater, but it's fully enclosed.
19:32You have your wiper at the top.
19:33And you also have, it definitely won't, it'll stand out like that.
19:38That is the Elm.
19:39And this is Destination Net Zero.
19:42So we've got a big turburg.
19:45And Nevo does a bit of work with Ross Lair.
19:48So we've got the electric turburg, which is great to see.
19:52You have the Renault E-Tech T 4x2 tractor unit.
20:00100% electric.
20:02You have the electric JCB teleporter.
20:06With the, dropping it into the back of that truck.
20:10Sorry, transit.
20:11Is it an E-Transit though?

20:17That's the Sportline spec as well with the two stripes.
20:20We have the Vertelis E-Electric truck from Renault.

20:43And then the DAF.
20:46That's not electric, but I think it might be plug-in hybrid.

20:56That is a whistle stop tour of the all electric vans and stuff at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2025 at
21:01the NEC in Birmingham.
