00:11I know Nadim since we were kids. We grew up on stage together. Then he started the Mayas.

00:18As a choreographer, he brought new style and technique and dancing to Lebanon.

00:22Lebanon is not considered a place when you can build a career out of dancing. It's hard,

00:27really hard, and harder for women. The Mayas, it's given us a free, safe, and creative space to dance.

00:35I grew up watching America's Got Talent, and I was inspired by so many people,

00:43but what really got us to audition this year is Nightbird.

00:47Where she said, we can't wait until life isn't hard anymore, before you decide to be happy.

01:00Seeing the Mayas in America's Got Talent is the most beautiful feeling I've ever felt. Sorry, guys.

01:08We want to show the world that we're able to stand on our own feet as really strong and powerful women.

01:58Lebanon is a very beautiful country.

02:03But unfortunately, being a dancer as a female Arab is not fully supported yet.

02:23Us being here, standing on the biggest stage of the world, is our only chance to prove to

02:29the world what Arab women can do.

02:33The arts we can create, the fights we fight.

02:39Do you know that if you win, you get one million dollars?
