The Marble Mountains (Vietnamese: Ngũ Hành Sơn), also known as Non Nuoc, is a cluster of five limestone and marble hills located near the coastline in Hoa Hai Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang City. Each of the five mountains is named after one of the five elements in Eastern philosophy: Metal (Kim), Wood (Moc), Water (Thuy), Fire (Hoa), and Earth (Tho). Together, they form a harmonious landscape that blends nature, spirituality, and culture.
Thuy Son (Water Mountain) is the largest and most famous of the five. It is home to numerous ancient temples, pagodas, caves, and towers, such as Linh Ung Pagoda, Huyen Khong Cave, and Am Phu Cave. This mountain serves as both a sacred pilgrimage site and a popular tourist destination visited by millions each year.
