Zoids Saga DS: Legend of Arcadia is the conclusion of the Zoids Saga series. It comprises scenes from Zoids Saga, Zoids Saga II (released in the west as Zoids: Legacy) and Zoids Saga III: Fuzors. It features upgraded graphics and sound. Additionally, Zoids and story elements from the Zoids Genesis anime have been included.

The game plays like a traditional JRPG with the player controlling characters and mechs from the Zoids titles. Enemy Zoids wander around the overworld and chase you on sight, which takes the player into the turn-based combat system. An English patch for the game done by Traceeytrace in 2022.

The gameplay is the same as Zoids Saga except that Takara Tomy used the DS split screen feature to introduce the radar system. Regina gave him a peculiar device which he wore on his left arm called Arm Retcomm, a radar watch device with map, item locator, trap, and Zoids mining system. Right now, you only have level 1 of these systems, but you will get more upgrade for the device starting from midgame.

The party heads to a ruin where Ron is waiting, and he joined your party in his Banburian Zoid once the party said that they're ready. Meto Ruin...the party stalked by Zairin as they explore the place. Zairin here pilot Bio Mega Raptor but...just like all Bio Zoids, his Zoid ignored your party's Zoid's defense and ouch...that actually hurt. Luckily, since I did grind before that, my party wiped him out in a single turn. After the battle, Zairin hit Ruuji with the flame breath before running away and the party can't chase him. "It's my fault that he got away. If I...if I was stronger," Ruuji wished and apparently, this triggers something between his Murasame and Atory's Sauro Knight much to the two's surprise (The game will subtly explain the mechanic later. We will get to that part eventually). Rei Mii wondered what happened and Atory said it's as if...then nothing much to Rei Mii's disappointment and asked him to spit it out. Ra Kan urges the party to keep going.

At the end of the ruin, the party meets Seijuurou then something happened outside of the ruin that caused an earthquake. Everyone leaves first while Ruuji and Kotona tried to approach him. Ruuji here wants Seijuurou to train him because he wants to be stronger, but Seijuurou refuses his request and the ground shakes again (Seems like the battle is getting intense out there). Ruuji and Kotona leave the ruin to help the party. Outside, Orpis ambushed Atory and the party, triggering double boss fights (I said double because we fight him twice in a row). Ruuji said that he won't stop until he saved his village which annoys Orpis. Orpis about to attack the boy but Seijuurou intervene and attack Orpis, stopping the mad scientist. Seijuurou joined the party and Ruuji accepts him as his teacher, prompting us to rearrange the party's formation and had the third boss fight.
