Rajouri (J&K), May 04, 2025 (ANI): Anjum Tanveer from Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri made a heartfelt appeal to the government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for help in reuniting with his pregnant wife Atya Aslam, who was deported to Pakistan from Wagah Border. He married to Pakistani National Atya Aslam in 2020 through proper legal channels and documentation. The couple currently has a one-and-a-half-year-old daughter Ayeza Tanveer. Anjum Tanveer’s wife is reportedly in the late stages of her second pregnancy, expected to deliver within the next two to three months. His family members also expressed their anguish, stating that they are proud Indian citizens who have always supported the nation and its security forces. They appealed to the central government to take immediate steps to facilitate Atya Aslam’s return so that she can safely deliver her child in India, where her family resides.
