00:23So the simplest, you can get the Knicks minus two and a half games

00:27at 22 to one.

00:28There's no chance that bet wins, but I just couldn't live with myself

00:33being on the Knicks in the series and then losing money on the series

00:38if the Knicks win the series.

00:40That's kind of where I'm at.

00:42You mean the Knicks win the series 4-1, which puts it under five and a half games?

00:46Correct.

00:46That's the context that everyone needs.

00:49I just couldn't.

00:51Being on the Knicks is something that very few people rightfully will be on.

01:00Even though I'm like, ooh, this isn't the best selling point as I type it out.

01:03That's what I'm writing to myself.

01:05It is a tough sell to fully be on New York.

01:09I just can't give you over five and a half games and be like,

01:12I lost money on this series because the Knicks won in four or five.

01:14I just couldn't live with that reality.

01:16I much prefer a Knicks in seven bet, which is like a 16-to-1 ticket,

01:21because I think this will have to be a long series.

01:24If I were to just attempt to sell people on the Knicks' chances in this series,

01:29if you look in the regular season, something that stood out to me,

01:34and I know this will sound unfair, but I know I'll rope coach in on this.

01:40It's not going to take much.

01:41Jason Tatum was perfect.

01:45Jason Tatum did not dominate a regular season opponent

01:50as much as he dominated the New York Knicks.

01:54It didn't have really a bad game, but the averages over the four meetings,

02:0033 and a half points per game on 54, 48 shooting splits, 48% from three.

02:10One of the reasons I do not have Boston making it out of the East

02:14is I think that this year, unlike last, so much is going to be put on Tatum.

02:21Tatum did his usual terrible game one thing,

02:25but when he came back, games three, four, and five, 36, 37, 35.

02:31I mean, the efficiency wasn't perfect,

02:33but he was still really great for this basketball team.

02:38I am not telling you that Tatum should be the best player in this series.

02:42Well, could Tatum crack the door open for us to go a little bit longer

02:47because he gives you two postseason clunkers,

02:50which he usually is good for in a series?

02:53Hate to say it, but he is, JY.

02:55That is where I think the Knicks can start to cut some of the edges.

02:58I also just think, and this might sound ridiculous,

03:02you cannot build a team specifically designed to beat a team

03:06and be this wrong.

03:06If this team loses in four or five games and finishes the season 0-8, 1-8 against Boston

03:15when they were designed to beat Boston,

03:17I cannot imagine someone being that wrong,

03:20and I don't think the Knicks are that wrong.

03:23This roster does make sense and should be competitive against Boston.

03:27And I think that's where you start to rope me in a little bit.

03:30You went and got OG at the trade deadline last year,

03:35and you went and got McHale because you're looking at Brown and Tatum

03:38and saying that's how we defend.

03:40You go get Cat because you need to be better at the center position,

03:44and you have to be able to counter Porzingis,

03:46and the fact that you can have a guy to stretch out to the three-point line.

03:49So I could see that.

03:51It's funny.

03:52As I started digging during the commercial break

03:55and just thinking out loud, the props market.

03:59And I was trying to find, like, where can I find something?

04:03Hear me out.

04:05Josh Hart leads the series in rebounding at 7-1.

04:08Because if you really think about it,

04:11Carl Anthony Towns has got to guard Porzingis or Horford

04:14who live where?

04:17Outside the three.

04:20When Josh Hart gets to these moments,

04:23he becomes an absolute demon on the boards.

04:27Like, he's like Dennis Rodman.

04:29I'm not saying he's Dennis Rodman,

04:30but like Dennis Rodman where you're like,

04:32yo, here goes the real, you know what?

04:33I'm going to get out of the way because he may hurt me.

04:34Yeah.

04:35Josh Hart averaged, I do believe,

04:388.7 rebounds per game versus Boston during a regular season.

04:43I think because of the fact of where we're going to play,

04:47obviously,

04:49Cat outside,

04:51I think Mitchell Robinson make it more minutes than we think

04:54because of his propensity to play the pick and roll way better.

04:58Just look at the drop coverage that he played against Cade

05:00in game six on that last possession.

05:02Play, play, put a clinic on it on that one play.

05:06I think Josh Hart, Tom,

05:07it's 7-1 to lead the series in rebounding

05:10is a sneaky good bet.
