00:00This is the Five Flyers Exhibition at Kirkcaldy Galleries. It opened this weekend and it runs
00:21until June 8th. It celebrates the 1985 British Championship Marine team, a team that was one
00:27of the most successful in the club's history and a team that created a whole new fan base,
00:32one that defined the sport for a generation. They were reunited for a live show up at this
00:36halls last night and they're here today for the exhibition. It's free to view, it's packed
00:41with memorabilia including medals, watches, pennants, strips, photographs and a lot of
00:46archived material, some of which has not been seen for 40 years. There's also video footage
00:50showing the games as they were played. It's free to view as I say, it's open until mid-June,
00:55so please do come along and enjoy the memories and if you have other content you can help
00:59develop the exhibition. I know the organisers would love to hear from you.

01:44I'm Alan, as most of you know, as part of the organizing committee for the various celebration
01:56events and my brief was to bring together an exhibition in the galleries and it's been
02:01really good to work with the galleries people and the On5 Creative Development team, they've
02:07been absolutely fantastic, really first rate, very supportive, very professional, they've
02:12helped us every step of the way, they've said yes to everything we've suggested and I think
02:16we've said yes to most of the stuff that you guys have suggested as well, so it's been
02:19a really good community initiative, which is so appropriate because what was 5 Flyers
02:269845 other than community, it wasn't just a sporting team, it wasn't just a sporting
02:32success, it was a whole community thing brought together and the way that you guys inspired
02:37a town and inspired a nation almost, it was just unforgettable and that's why I think
02:42last night there was so much camaraderie with the fans and the players, because everybody
02:47thought wow, this was really special, so we've tried to reflect that in the exhibition upstairs,
