Kosovo President Dr Vjosa Osmani paid her respects at the Warriors’ Mausoleum in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday (May 3), where former Malaysian prime ministers and other national leaders were laid to rest, as part of her four-day official visit to Malaysia.   Her visit, held within the grounds of the National Mosque, included a moment of reflection at the grave of Malaysia’s fifth prime minister, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, who passed away on April 14. 00:23a solemn moment at the grave of Malaysia's fifth prime minister, Tun Abdullah Ahmad

00:28Badawi, who passed away on April 14. She was accompanied by Education Minister Fadlina

00:35Siddek, who served as the minister in attendance. Also present were Abdullah's son, Tanshri Kamaluddin

00:41Abdullah, and daughter, Nori Abdullah. The visit was a symbolic gesture of Kosovo's appreciation

00:48for Malaysia's enduring support, particularly under Abdullah's leadership during Kosovo's

00:53state-building process. It also underscored the shared values of peace, unity, and mutual

01:00respect between both nations.

01:02A day earlier, Osmani posthumously conferred Kosovo's highest state honor, the Order of

01:09Independence, on Abdullah, recognizing his commitment to peace and unwavering support for Kosovo's

01:15independence and development. The award was received by Abdullah's son-in-law and former

01:20health minister, Kairi Jamaluddin. Earlier in her visit, President Osmani also toured the

01:26National Mosque and the Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia, IAMM. At the museum, she explored

01:33the gallery Oceans That Speak, Islam and the Emergence of the Malay World, which highlights

01:39the spread of Islam across maritime Southeast Asia and its influence on the cultural and

01:44civilizational fabric of the Malay archipelago.
